164 Callan’s Letter

Spider End Alley.

In a dark room.

Snape was lying on his back on the bed with his eyes blank, his wand crookedly placed next to his pillow. In the corner of the room were piles of luggage he had brought back from school, which he had not yet packed away.

He has been in this state for many days.

Especially after he went to the amusement park with a bit of luck, but did not see Lily, or even Penny, his expression immediately became darker.

He hasn't seen Lily once since the holiday.

Even on the train back, he didn't sit in the same box as Lily.

Snape vaguely understood that Lily was deliberately avoiding him.

Snape thought of this with disappointment.

When he thought of the things Callan had done, Snape immediately felt a surge of anger in his heart.

If Karan hadn't suddenly said something about black magic at the end, Lily might have forgiven him.

After all, when facing the Acromantula, everything he did was just to protect Lily.

He has no choice.

Although this choice seemed so ridiculous in front of the Acromantulas that fell in droves.

Snape's cheeks twitched angrily and he clenched his fists.

But in the end, this anger quietly turned into powerlessness.

Karan has done so many things.

The wrapping paper that had been folded in the potion preparation room was now safely placed in his luggage.

Maybe, he should throw away the gift Karan gave him.

Snape couldn't help but think to himself.

He struggled to sit up and stared at the corner of the room with complicated eyes.

After a moment of silence, he fell back onto the bed.

"Damn Karan..."

He murmured quietly.

Everything is condensed into this short sentence.

Just like when he first met Karan.

At this time, another quarrel broke out downstairs, interrupting the complicated thoughts in his mind.

The expression on Snape's face gradually turned to pain as he secretly endured the hell of his return.

That is his home.

Inexplicably, amidst the insults that seemed to ring in his ears, Snape thought of something Karan had said.

Snape gritted his teeth silently, groping back and forth on the pillow with one of his palms.

Finally, he grasped the cypress wand tightly.

He didn't want to be corrected.

He just wanted to punish that man severely!

Snape sat up suddenly, with a look of resentment on his face!

"Knock, knock, knock."

At this time, a sudden knock on the window caused his steps to stall slightly.

He stood in front of the door, his face distorted and looking towards the window with a frown.

The owl outside the window seemed startled by the expression on his face, but it still knocked on the glass of the window dutifully.

And in its paws, it was holding a thick letter tightly.

Snape's expression gradually softened, and he opened the window in confusion.

The owl walked up to him cautiously and gently put the letter down.

It seemed that after hesitating for a short while, it tilted its neck and called softly.

Snape was stunned for a moment, and then he realized what he was doing. He quickly poured a small glass of water and took some snacks from the luggage pile.

These snacks were given to him by Karan.

After the owl had a hearty meal, it pecked Snape's fingers affectionately a few times, then fluttered its wings and flew away.

Only Snape was left in the room, still staring blankly at the signature of the letter.

This is what the envelope says.

Snape pursed his lips tightly and his face gradually turned livid.

He never expected that this would be a letter from Karan.

Time passed slowly, Snape's fist clenched several times, and he finally resisted the urge to tear up the letter completely.

But when he tore open the envelope, he inevitably used too much force and the contents fell out.

Snape frowned and looked at these four things, then he ignored the other things and opened the letter first.

This mocking tone made Snape confirm that this was the text written by Karan himself. He could even imagine the expression on Karan's face at that time.

"Damn it."

He cursed under his breath, suppressed the anger in his heart, and continued reading.

He actually succeeded?

Snape picked up the second thing on the bed, the gold Galleons, and looked at it carefully in his hand.

If Karan hadn't reminded him in the letter, he would have thought it was a real gold coin.

What is he giving me this thing for now?

Snape thought with a frown, feeling a little ridiculous in his heart.

Karan acted as if the relationship between the three of them had never changed.

Snape looked down at the letter again.

When have I ever said that?

Snape thought strangely.

He continued to read silently.

When Snape saw the next series of numbers written on the letter, his pupils shrank sharply.

He immediately looked at the third thing on the bed - a brand new key.

After staring at it for a while, Snape did not move the key, but tightened his cheeks and continued reading.

That ends the content on the letter paper.

Snape's cheeks twitched abnormally. He put down the letter and silently picked up the last thing on the bed - a copy.

This newspaper seemed to be quite old. After Snape flipped through it for a while, his movements suddenly stopped.

Then, his palms couldn't help but tremble slightly.

This is an age-stained activity photo of a skinny girl about 15 years old.She was not pretty, she looked a little surly and a little unhappy.

She has thick eyebrows, a long face, and a pale complexion.

Just like Snape.

The caption below the photo reads:

She is Snape's mother.

Moreover, Callan once gave Snape a Christmas present.

A brand new set of Gobstones.

Snape's mind went blank, and he didn't even notice the sudden knock on the door.

The older Eileen Prince walked in, holding cleaning tools in her hand, and looked at Snape worriedly.

Mother and son had not had a single conversation since returning from vacation, and Snape had never shared with her some of the interesting things that happened at Hogwarts.

Just like what a normal family would do.

She wanted to use this excuse of cleaning to try to say something to Snape.

But after opening his mouth, what came out was.

"You go downstairs to eat first."

She lowered her head and said.

"There are only two of us left at home, no one will disturb you."

Snape was stunned.

He stared blankly at the red mark on Prince's face, knowing that this was the evil result caused by that person.

But this time, he didn't hold the wand tightly.

"Mother......"

It seemed that Snape's tone seemed unnatural because he hadn't used this title for so long.

But he finally said it in full.

Prince finally looked up at him and his son, his eyes slowly widening in confusion.

"Let's get out of here."

Snape said subconsciously.

He didn't know why he suddenly said this, but the depression and impulse in his heart kept pushing him.

Perhaps, it's just that mistakes need to be corrected.

"Go open a Gobstone shop."

"In Hogsmeade."

He said.
