Summary of Volume 2, takeaway update will be delayed until the evening tomorrow
Ah, there really is not a drop left.jpg
I want to sleep! .jpg
Well, this is what I really think after working hard for 16,000 yuan today.
Well, I won’t say much about this, let’s get back to the main volume.
The title of the second volume is [Establishment], which, as the name suggests, is the story of Xiao Zhao officially establishing himself in the professional Go circle and becoming famous.
Of course, there are other similarities in between - for example, Xiao Zhao officially decided to make live streaming a long-term career, Li Jingzhe decided to start learning Go and conduct research on Go AI, Cheng Yuyang also started his professional career, and so on.
Next is the annotation of the volume: "A gentleman does not change his principles." This sentence comes from the Book of Changes. Its original meaning is that a gentleman does not easily change his noble beliefs. It is very appropriate to use it to correspond to Xiao Zhao's actions in this volume, in which he sticks to his original intention and focuses on playing chess.
For this volume, since I haven't kept any manuscripts for a long time, in order to ensure updates, some parts of my writing still feel lacking, which is a pity, but it's acceptable.
But...what makes me most satisfied with this volume is the final game of chess.
I spent as much time and effort on this game as I did on the article (if you are interested, you can join our QQ group in the next two days. I will share the link to the game record in the group in a few days)
Maybe most of the big guys don’t really watch chess, but as someone who really watches chess (although I can’t play it anymore), I am still very satisfied with the chess game I finally modified.
I even dare to say that if in reality there really were two female chess players who played such a game in a crucial match, it would not be an exaggeration to call it a famous game.
Whether it was the various battles of wits and courage in the early and mid-game layout, the two sides were just one step away from killing the big dragon (this luck just made it so that neither side could kill the other, and it ended with two eyes alive), the half-point victory or defeat at the end, the Ice Queen's fate-changing move in desperation, or the just one missing piece of material for the capture, and even the final use of the exception under the Chinese rules to achieve "seven points on the board to win", all were very exquisite, and made me feel that "a famous game is created by nature, and a brilliant move is achieved by chance".
The feeling of "not winning, but in a sense very close to winning, but ultimately not winning" in this game of chess also fits my requirements for the conclusion of this volume.
After all, the heroine has won now, which raises the threshold. But if she loses too easily (for example, a simple half-point win or loss), it would be very disappointing. Now this feeling is just right.
By the way, I will also talk about the combat power of the last heroine in this volume. I may not have shown it clearly in the text, so I will mention it here.
Basically:
When the rank was determined, it was close to the fourth rank level. After the rank was determined, the inner demons were removed and it was improved to the strong fourth level.
In the game against Park Moon-mi, her "flow" was activated to the maximum level of strong six, and coupled with her outstanding performance in that game, it is estimated that her level in that single game was at the strong seven level.
In the final game against the Ice Queen, I overloaded "Flow" to a strong seventh. Taking into account the factors of super-level performance in a single game, the Queen, who reached the top eight level, was basically evenly matched.
At the same time, I would like to remind the big guys: because of the limited flow of the second volume, the heroine can only reach the weak fifth level when opening the book, so you can lower your threshold.
Okay, now that I have talked about the things that I am satisfied with, let me also briefly respond to the controversial points.
The controversial point of this volume is the fifth game of the Chess Saint Tournament. Although this seems to be one point, it is actually two points - Lei Qi and Lin Ruixin.
Let’s first talk about the relatively less controversial one, Lei Qi.
It is certain that the character of Lei Qi was not likable in the early stage, and many bigwigs thought he was pretentious - to be honest, I think so too.
But... this character still has to exist. Otherwise, we can't really rely on the little witch to pull the emotions for a long time. This little witch can no longer overshadow the heroine.
The next big name is... Lin Ruixin.
This... I can't say anything.
I can understand that many big guys will substitute popular chess players in real life, because this character setting extracts too many elements from the same person in reality.
But if you ask me to change, I really can't change it...
There is no way. The many characteristics of the character Lin are so typical and vivid, so vivid that I cannot separate his series of characteristics separately. I can only deepen or alleviate them.
I also thought about creating a new villain to avoid causing trouble for some big guys, but in the end I gave up.
I still hope that my villain has some flesh and blood, with his own difficulties and desires, rather than just being a stereotypical bad guy.
I can only say that the villain Lin, like Bai Yinhua, is a temporary character, and in the final analysis he has not done anything particularly evil. It's just that his behavior is indeed controversial, and this controversy is quite disgusting from the protagonist's perspective.
Finally, I have absolutely no intention of deliberately discrediting real-life chess players. If there are big guys in real life who like that popular chess player, you can consider giving Ben more chances.
Okay, let me say two things in the end.
First, the name of the second volume is [Tuan]. As for why it was named this way... I will explain it in the summary at the end of the volume.
Second, I updated 1.6 words today, which is really too much. I will update tomorrow, but it will definitely be in the evening. The day after tomorrow, I will resume the update time of : on weekdays and : on weekends.
All right, guys, see you in the next volume.
