Chapter 3: Transformation and Rebirth

Chapter 3: Transformation and Rebirth

That’s right, if he couldn’t worship Yuanshi Tianzun or Daode Tianzun, Guangchengzi would rather become a disciple of the two Western Taoists than Lingbao Tianzun.

Guangchengzi didn't want to join Jiejiao. If he really became a Jiejiao immortal, it would be too unfair for him, a member of Jiejiao, to die in the future when the catastrophe of Conferred Gods came.

Moreover, being able to achieve sainthood in the flesh is already the best. For example, Yang Jian and Yunxiao have achieved sainthood in the flesh. Even if they are in the Heavenly Palace and only obey orders but not decrees, they will still be restrained by the Divine Whip.

But if only a little bit of your true spirit falls into the List of Gods, then you will have no control over your life and death, and be ordered around at will. Living will be more painful than death.

If you know something is impossible but still insist on doing it, you are either extremely capable or extremely stupid.

And to be honest, Guangchengzi did not think much of Jiejiao. After all, according to later legends, Jiejiao was a place where filth and dirt were lurking. There were immortals and moral masters, but there were more people who were greedy and despicable.

The Patriarch Tongtian only loves to recruit disciples but does not teach them carefully. He only learned from Hongjun the point of not considering one's origin but forgot to learn Hongjun's method of setting up checkpoints.

Hongjun is a race that has no restrictions on coming to listen to the teachings, but the Zixiao Palace is located in the chaos. Apart from the Daluo Jinxian, how many gods below this level can go to the Zixiao Palace to listen to the teachings?

And before Hongjun preached, how many of the great gods who could cultivate themselves to the realm of Daluo Jinxian were weak? How many were born from eggs and had shallow roots?

This is the simplest way to set up levels and select worldly guests.

Master Tongtian has countless disciples, but only a few of them are famous, and the rest are just a burden.

Among them, the Three Xiaos can be regarded as immortals with Tao, but in order to set up the Nine-Bend Yellow River Formation, they had to kill ninety-nine pregnant women in succession to sacrifice for the formation. Such a method is many times more cruel than the Twelve Golden Immortals of the Orthodox Sect.

"It is said that the Twelve Golden Immortals of the Chan Sect are aloof and arrogant. But if anyone worships the most powerful saint at that time as their master and is also the saint's direct disciple, how many people would not be aloof and arrogant?"

Guang Chengzi shook his head and said, "What's more, these twelve golden immortals only love to cultivate themselves and don't care about others. Even if they are aloof and arrogant, they won't hurt others casually. At most, they will make a few sarcastic remarks. How many rich second-generations on Earth are not more arrogant than the twelve golden immortals?"

It’s no wonder that Yuanshi Tianzun looks down on Jiejiao. If it were Guangchengzi himself, he wouldn’t look down on such a place either.

Even the Western religion, because it is located in a bitter and cold place, most of the people there are compassionate and have extraordinary character. The two saints also love to teach their disciples, so they are many times better than the Jie religion.

However, there was no point in thinking too much about these things. Guangchengzi was attracted by the words of the two innate gods and once again entered the deepest level of cultivation. He even mobilized the power within the Yin-Yang diagram to help him transform as soon as possible.

Before this training, he swore that he would not stop until he transformed into a human form!

For three hundred kalpas in a row, Guangchengzi was immersed in cultivation, which was equivalent to almost forty million years, and he had not been awake once.

Until one day, a large mass of auspicious clouds and mist suddenly appeared on the Jiuxian Mountain, and a vast aura of merit emerged from the void, like dancing waves in the ocean. The thick golden light shone in all directions, benefiting all living beings and making this fairy mountain even more magnificent. Countless rare birds and beasts were illuminated by the golden light, and immediately gave birth to spirits and turned into humans, adding a lot of thick life energy to the fairy mountain.

If it weren’t for the innate formation blocking it, I’m afraid this scene would alarm countless people, and even some innate gods would come to look.

In the center of this golden sea of merit, there is a golden ruler floating up and down, which is particularly conspicuous.

Although both are golden in color, this golden ruler stands out from the crowd with a hint of red, like the purest gold among all the gold, which makes it easy to spot at a glance.

As the saying goes, no gold is pure, and no one is perfect. The purest gold often shows a hint of red, making it the most precious of all gold.

This golden ruler is a treasure among merits. The extremely rare merits are as inconspicuous as stones on the roadside next to this golden ruler. Then, a black and white gas rushed into the sky, quickly condensed in the air, and turned into a Taoist in his youth. The Yin-Yang diagram came with the air and turned into a Taoist robe, wrapping the Taoist.

This person is Guangchengzi!
After tens of millions of years, he finally realized the profound truth at this moment, achieved the cultivation of a mysterious immortal, and transformed into a human being in an instant.

Guang Chengzi looked at his own body, his heart was filled with excitement, and he sang:

"Yin and Yang were created when the heaven and earth were created, and Yin and Yang respond to disasters to maintain vitality.

Now he has repeated his Yin-Yang body, changed his name to Guangcheng and became a god again! "

The golden sea of merit in the sky seemed to have found a place to rest, pouring down like a waterfall, and the golden ruler also flowed into Guangchengzi's body.

This is the merit specially bestowed by Heaven in appreciation of the contribution made by the Yin-Yang Ancestor. Guangchengzi, as the reborn body of the Yin-Yang Ancestor, has received this blessing.

Seeing such a huge golden light of merit falling, Guangchengzi showed a look of joy, and felt his mind was clear. The various mysteries hidden in the way of heaven were no longer blocked at this moment, but were completely opened to him, allowing him to comprehend them at will.

Guangchengzi naturally would not waste this opportunity. He immediately returned to Jiuxian Mountain, found a white lotus at random and sat down. He held his breath, closed his eyes and remained silent. His soul left his body and swam freely in the Heavenly Dao.

The problems that were incomprehensible in the past were easily solved under the unreserved indoctrination of the Heavenly Dao. He even realized a hint of the truth of immortality, and bits of golden light began to appear in the depths of his soul.

This is the immortal golden nature unique to the Golden Immortal.

Live as long as the sky and last as long as the earth, this is the power of the Golden Immortal.

If there is no interference from external forces, the Golden Immortal can even live from the beginning of the world to the collapse of the primitive world, only because the Golden Immortal has been able to establish a wonderful connection with the heaven and earth. No matter how much life he loses, the heaven and earth will compensate him. Naturally, he will not die because of his lifespan.

There have only ever been Golden Immortals who were beaten to death, but there has never been a Golden Immortal who died of old age.

Guangchengzi also comprehended this state of mind at this moment. As his cultivation deepened, his body continued to expand, even larger than the Nine Immortals Mountain. Until it exceeded a certain limit, his body quickly shrank back and became smaller than dust, and then continued to expand and shrink again.

As he expanded and shrank, countless essences of heaven and earth swarmed in to make up for his shortcomings, and the entire prehistoric world seemed to be agreeing with him.

Guangchengzi naturally did not have such enormous magical power to make the prehistoric world obey him. Even a saint could not do that. Instead, he was learning to breathe like the prehistoric world.

The primordial world was created by Pangu, so it naturally possesses life, and the Way of Heaven is its will.

The will of the great wilderness is the Way of Heaven, and the Way of Heaven is the will of the great wilderness, so the Way of Heaven is emotionless.

The primitive world also breathes. Every time it exhales, it is spitting out waste gas, and every time it inhales, it is swallowing up essence.

Guangchengzi learned the breathing of the ancients, which was to expel the waste gas in the body and absorb the essence between heaven and earth. This was the grand orthodox practice and the purest practice.

A mysterious golden wheel of merit slowly emerged behind his head. As the golden wheel spun, thousands of auspicious auras shot out and tens of thousands of auspicious clouds appeared. The aura was mighty and upright. All demons retreated and evil spirits stayed away. Just like the bright sun, Zhou Shen was covered with countless auspicious auras, misty light, and fairy auras that illuminated the world.
