Chapter 4 Understanding the College Rules
Chapter 4: Understanding the Academy Rules
Lin Yu and Su Yao spent a fulfilling day at the Magic Academy. They were full of curiosity and yearning for this world. The next day, they decided to learn about the rules and regulations of the Magic Academy in order to better integrate into this new environment.
Early in the morning, they came to the library of the academy. The library was quiet and solemn, and the bookshelves were filled with various magic books and scrolls. They found a book called "History of Magic Academy", which detailed the origin, development and various rules of the magic academy.
"It turns out that this academy has a history of hundreds of years." Su Yao sighed as she flipped through the books.
"Yes, countless excellent magicians have been trained here." Lin Yu said.
The book mentions that the magic academy is divided into three stages: elementary, intermediate and advanced, and each stage has different courses and assessments. The elementary stage mainly learns basic magic knowledge, the intermediate stage begins to get in touch with more advanced magic skills, and the advanced stage allows for more in-depth magic research.
"So which stage are we in now?" Su Yao asked curiously.
"Based on our abilities, it should be the primary stage." Lin Yu said.
They continued reading and found that the magic academy had some unique rules and regulations. First, the academy implemented a credit system, and students needed to earn credits by completing various tasks and taking exams. Second, the academy encouraged competition and cooperation among students, and to improve their abilities through competition.
"It sounds interesting." Su Yao said.
"Yes, it's full of challenges and opportunities," said Lin Yu.
The book also mentions an important rule, that is, the college prohibits students from going out privately. If students need to go out, they must get approval from their instructors and go with a companion to ensure safety.
"Then how can we find a mentor?" Su Yao asked.
"We can go to the college's Academic Affairs Office to ask." Lin Yu said.
They left the library and came to the Academic Affairs Office, which was a spacious and bright room filled with various documents and files.
"Excuse me, we would like to know the rules and regulations of the academy." Lin Yu said.
A affable dean of the school came out and asked with a smile, "Are you freshmen?"
"Yes." Lin Yu and Su Yao replied.
The Dean of Academic Affairs took out a document from the cabinet and handed it to them: "This is the rules and regulations of the college. You can take a look at it."
They read the document carefully and learned some specific regulations of the college. For example, students must abide by school rules, respect teachers and unite classmates; students can participate in various clubs and activities to enrich their extracurricular life; students can apply for scholarships to reward outstanding students, etc.
"These regulations are very reasonable." Su Yao said.
"Yes, the college has formulated many beneficial systems for the growth and development of students," said Lin Yu.
The Dean of Academic Affairs saw that they had understood clearly, so he asked, "Do you have any questions?"
"We want to know how to apply for a mentor?" Lin Yu asked.
"It's very simple. You just need to fill out an application form and give it to the tutor." The Dean of Academic Affairs said, "However, the assignment of tutors is determined based on the students' abilities and majors."
They returned to the dormitory, took out a pen and paper, and filled out the application form, which required personal information, major selection, and reasons for application.
"What should we fill in?" Su Yao asked.
"Just write that we want to learn advanced magic and hope to find an experienced instructor." Lin Yu said.
After filling out the application form, they submitted it to the Academic Affairs Office, and a few days later, they received a reply from their tutor.
"Congratulations! Your instructor is the dean of the Flame Academy and the instructor of the Flame Master Class - Huo Yunfei." The Dean of Academic Affairs said happily.
"Huo Yunfei?" Su Yao and Lin Yu were unfamiliar with the name, but they knew it was a respectable title.
The next day, they came to the Flame Academy. The Flame Academy is located in a corner of the Magic Academy. The architectural style of the academy is simple and solemn, full of fiery atmosphere.
"Teacher Huo Yunfei is here, right?" Lin Yu asked.
An old man in a flame robe came out and said with a smile: "I am Huo Yunfei, welcome to join the Flame Academy."
Huo Yunfei, an experienced magician with powerful fire magic ability, welcomed Lin Yu and Su Yao and asked about their study plans and goals.
"We want to learn advanced magic and hope to grow quickly under your guidance." Lin Yu said.
"Okay, I will do my best to help you." said Instructor Huo Yunfei.
From then on, Lin Yu and Su Yao began their training journey in the Flame Academy. They learned the basics of flame magic, mastered various flame magic techniques, and participated in various activities and tasks of the academy.
Under the guidance of instructor Huo Yunfei, their strength continued to improve and they gradually became the best in the academy.
