Chapter 10: Obtaining the Primordial Master
Chapter 10: Obtaining the Primordial Master
Guangchengzi felt nervous and excited, and the mysterious feeling became stronger, as if someone was approaching here quickly, but he still stood there calmly.
Before these strange phenomena could last long, a vast and mighty clear air suddenly appeared in the sky. As the clear air lingered, both the six-colored divine light and the rainbow bridge were swept away, leaving only tranquility.
Then the clear air turned into three clear clouds and slowly floated down. On each clear cloud stood a Taoist priest.
Seeing the three Taoists coming together, Guang Chengzi immediately flew up into the sky, stopped a thousand feet away from them, and said respectfully: "The monk Guang Chengzi from Jiuxian Mountain greets the three Pangu orthodox sects. The formation has not been broken yet, please come into the reed and sit for a while. I have been welcoming you for a long time."
Hearing this, the three of them lowered their heads and looked at Guangchengzi. Guangchengzi also took this opportunity to look over and take a look at the appearance of the Three Pure Ones.
An old Taoist priest stood on the left. He had a peaceful face, white hair and a youthful appearance. He was wearing a Tai Chi Bagua robe and a purple gold Ruyi crown on his head. He had gentle eyes and at first glance, he seemed to be a man full of emotions.
But if you look closely, you can see that the old Taoist is extremely cold, with a dead silence in his eyes, without any ripples, as if every trace of emotion is being consumed and killed at the same time as it is being generated.
The old Taoist seemed to be looking at Guangchengzi, but also seemed to be looking somewhere else. His gaze seemed to fall on him, but also seemed to be looking at something through him. No one knew what he was thinking, because even he himself did not understand.
Guangchengzi just glanced at the old Taoist and dared not look at him any more, for fear that he would kill him and lose his feelings. He knew that this was the famous senior brother among the saints, Taishang Laojun, Laozi, the head of the Three Pure Ones!
And a young Taoist stood on the right, with a resolute face, his long hair tied up only with a wooden hairpin, a long sword hung on his waist, sword-like eyebrows reaching his temples, and an air of heroism. A divine light rose up into the sky from behind him, and in the light were mysterious formations that could be formed out of thin air without the need for anything to support them. It was obvious that he was very familiar with the art of formations, and at this moment he was looking at himself with great interest.
Guangchengzi knew that this was the Shangqing Tongtian, Lingbao Tianzun, the master of the Ten Thousand Immortals Formation. Unfortunately, he later went against the will of heaven and ended up being imprisoned in the Biyou Palace.
It was not until this moment that Guangchengzi turned his gaze to the middle-aged Taoist standing in the middle, and the Taoist was also looking at him at this moment.
The Taoist priest had a middle-aged face and thick eyebrows, which made him look majestic without him getting angry. He wore a Taoist robe very neatly, and his Taoist cap, hairpin, jade pendant, ribbons and other items were all worn in an orderly manner, exuding a sense of majesty.
When the majestic Pangu beside him approached the Taoist, everyone retreated as if they were paying homage to an emperor, not daring to offend him in the slightest. He was like the lord of all things, the chief of all gods, and the leader of the world, and no one dared to harm him.
All the cultivators in the world must accept his teachings before they can practice. All the mysteries in the world must be explained by him before they can become truths.
He is the embodiment of the moral principles of the world, and he is the only one who can explain the moral principles.
It is Yuanshi Tianzun, the master of the Chan sect, the leader of the heavenly court, and the future head of the Xuanmen!
Guangchengzi bowed respectfully again, then lowered his head very politely and no longer looked at their faces.
Yuanshi Tianzun nodded after seeing this, smiled with satisfaction, and said, "You actually recognized us?"
Laozi and Tongtian also looked back. After all, they brothers lived in Kunlun Mountain all year round. Apart from a goddess who was born on Kunlun Mountain and knew their names, they didn't go out often, so naturally few people knew them.
It was just that I was startled by the opportunity today, and I was so quiet that I wanted to move, so I came to Mount Buzhou for a visit. I didn't expect that this little monk had been waiting for me for a long time.
To these three Daluo Jinxians, even Taiyi Jinxian was considered a minor cultivator, not to mention Guangchengzi was only a Jinxian. Even Laozi showed some interest, not to mention Tongtian, but he didn't expect that Yuanshi Tianzun would be the first to speak.
Guang Chengzi said politely: "In reply to the immortal, I naturally recognize the three of them. Someone once told me that there are four great gods on Mount Kunlun, and each of them is extraordinary.
Among them, three great gods are twin brothers, and the supreme Pangu's original spirit is transformed from the pure energy source above the nine heavens. He is the well-deserved authentic Pangu and the leader of all gods.
As soon as I climbed up Mount Buzhou, I saw three streams of clear air flying out from the east. I immediately realized that they were three immortals coming together. In addition, I was guided here, so I knew that it was a mission given to me by the Heaven, which was to welcome the three immortals, so I specially made a shelter here to wait for them. "
After hearing what Guangchengzi said, Yuanshi Tianzun nodded, which was rare for him, and a barely perceptible smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.
Tongtian laughed and said, "You are an interesting person. You have come here specially to wait for us. We have to give you something as a reward. Tell us about it and we will listen."
Guang Chengzi was waiting for these words, and immediately said, "I have no other request, but I admire the Great Dao in my heart, and I want to become a disciple of the three Heavenly Lords. I only wish to serve the Heavenly Lords at all times, even if I am just a boy serving tea and water. I have no other request."
Tongtian clapped his hands and laughed after hearing this: "Isn't this a simple matter? I usually love to accept disciples, so what if I accept you today? But I already have several disciples, and you can't be the first disciple. In this case, I will accept you as the fourth disciple--"
When Guangchengzi heard Tongtian talking, he secretly thought that something was wrong, but he couldn't stop Tongtian from talking, so he could only worry secretly.
But before Tongtian could finish, Yuanshi Tianzun suddenly spoke up: "This man has extraordinary talent. It would not be appropriate if he could only be the fourth disciple of my third brother. It would be unfair to him. I don't accept any disciples. Your name is Guangchengzi? In this case, you will be my first disciple. In the future, you must manage Kunlun Mountain for me and don't let it become too chaotic."
Guang Chengzi's sadness turned into joy. He was overjoyed. He immediately kowtowed three times and kowtowed nine times, and said loudly: "Disciple will not let Master down! If I break this oath, I will be punished by heaven and earth!"
Then he stood up again, bowed to Laozi and Tongtian respectively, and said, "Greetings to Uncle Master and Third Uncle Master."
Yuanshi Tianzun was even happier when he saw that Guangchengzi was not overwhelmed with joy, but was very polite.
You must know that what he values most in daily life is etiquette. It’s not that he is pretentious, but he believes that if a cultivator cannot even complete the external etiquette, how can he practice the internal way?
Guangchengzi was one of the few polite people Yuanshi Tianzun had ever met. In addition to being very happy, he wanted to give him something as a gift for becoming a disciple.
After all, Tongtian had given his disciples many things, so could he not give anything?
It’s just that Yuanshi Tianzun seldom leaves Kunlun Mountain on weekdays. He went out today just for fun and didn’t bring any magical treasures with him. Apart from a companion magical treasure, the Zhutian Qingyun, he really didn’t have anything else in his hands.
For a moment, Yuanshi Tianzun didn't know what to give Guangchengzi. He turned his head and saw the gourd vine. He said to Guangchengzi, "Guangchengzi, if you want the gourd later, tell me. It will be a protective item given to you by me."
Guangchengzi waved his hands repeatedly, saying that he dared not, but Yuanshi Tianzun insisted on giving it to him, so he had no choice but to accept it.
Tongtian was interrupted by Yuanshi Tianzun, but he was not angry. He just smiled and looked at the master and disciple. The Three Pure Ones had a deep relationship and naturally would not tear each other apart for a disciple.
