**Chapter 19: Set off on a mission**
After a period of preparation and training, Lin Yu's expedition team finally ushered in their first mission - to travel to the distant Fire Valley in search of the legendary "Heart of Fire".
The morning sun shone into the room through the window. Lin Yu got up early and began to pack his bags. Su Yao, Zhao Hao and Li Yueran also woke up one after another and prepared the things they needed.
"Is everyone ready?" Lin Yu stood at the door, looking at everyone to make sure they were ready to go.
"We're ready." Everyone answered in unison.
Lin Yu nodded and turned to walk towards the back door of the academy. He looked back at the neat team behind him, his heart full of expectation and uneasiness.
"Let's go." Lin Yu gave an order, and the team began to move towards the Valley of Fire along the winding mountain road.
Along the way, everyone was talking and laughing, and the atmosphere was relaxed and happy. But whenever the danger of the Valley of Fire was mentioned, everyone's faces would show a serious look.
"The Valley of Fire is not easy to enter. It is full of unknown dangers." Zhao Hao reminded.
"I know." Su Yao said, "but this is our first mission, and we have to complete it anyway."

After a day's trek, the team finally arrived at the entrance of the Valley of Fire. They saw a huge volcano standing before them, with billowing black smoke coming out of the crater and heat waves blowing in their faces.

"I will protect everyone." Su Yao clenched the magic wand in her hand with a firm look in her eyes.
"Follow me." Lin Yu walked into the crater first.
Inside the volcano is a huge lava cave with walls covered with fiery red rocks. The high temperature makes the air scorching.
"It's so hot here." Zhao Hao complained while wiping the sweat off his face.
"Be patient, it will be over soon." Lin Yu said.
The team walked forward cautiously, when suddenly, a strong wind blew from deep within the cave, and flames instantly jumped in the air.
"Be careful!" Su Yao exclaimed and cast wind element magic to suppress the flames.
"What's going on?" Lin Yu looked at the depths of the cave in confusion.
They continued along the cave, and suddenly, a huge fire dragon appeared in front of them.
"Who are you? How dare you trespass into my territory!" The fire dragon opened its huge mouth and spewed out a ball of flames.
"We are an expedition team, searching for the Heart of Fire." Lin Yu answered calmly.
"Heart of Fire? Humph, are you worthy of it?" The fire dragon sneered disdainfully, then spewed out a ball of fire again.
Su Yao quickly cast wind element magic to resist the fire dragon's attack, while Lin Yu drew his sword and fought fiercely with the fire dragon.
Zhao Hao and Li Yueran also joined the battle. They used their respective strengths and cooperated with Lin Yu and Su Yao to force the fire dragon back.
After a fierce battle, the fire dragon was finally defeated and fled back into the depths of the cave.
"It seems that the Heart of Fire is in this cave." Lin Yu said, pointing deep into the cave.
The team continued to go deeper into the cave and finally came to a huge stone chamber. In the center of the chamber was a huge crystal ball, which emitted a dazzling light.
"This is the heart of fire." Li Yueran said, pointing at the crystal ball.
"We have to be careful, this thing is very dangerous." Zhao Hao warned.
"I know." Lin Yu walked carefully to the crystal ball and reached out to touch it.
Suddenly, the light in the crystal ball became brighter, and a powerful energy surged into Lin Yu's body.
"This energy... is so powerful..." Lin Yu felt his body was filled with strength.
"Success!" Su Yao shouted excitedly.
"We got the Heart of Fire." Zhao Hao said with emotion.
"This is our first mission and also our first victory," said Li Yueran.
The team brought the Heart of Flame back to the academy and was warmly welcomed by the teachers and students.
"You are really amazing!" the dean said excitedly, "Not only did you complete the task, but you also obtained the Heart of Fire. This is an honor for our college."
"Thank you, Dean." Lin Yu replied modestly.
"From now on, you will be the pride of the college." The dean said earnestly.
The team members smiled at each other, their hearts filled with pride and joy.
