Chapter 34 [The Monkey King's Entrustment, Tathagata Buddha! ]

"Om Mani Padme Hum!"

The six-character mantra released unparalleled power, and golden rays of light fell from top to bottom into the Five Elements Mountains.

The Five Elements Mountain, which was originally shaking, suddenly became quiet. Sun Wukong was completely suppressed and could no longer move at all.

Seeing this, Lin Xun was afraid that Sun Wukong would make a big noise, so he hurriedly said, "Master, calm down. With our current strength, it is still difficult to compete with him."

Sure enough, as soon as these words were spoken, Sun Wukong's mind suddenly became clear, leaving only a pair of red eyes staring at him.

But he didn't try to toss it anymore, which caused the Five Elements Mountain to become unstable.

Yes!

My disciple is right. I am indeed too weak now.

Why are you being treated like a chess piece? It’s because you’re not strong enough.

If you have strong enough power, you don't have to worry about the journey to the West. If the Buddhists insist on forcing you, just kill them.

But it’s not possible now. Once he refuses to obtain the scriptures, Buddhism will never be kind enough to let him go.

Sun Wukong also knew this, and it was ultimately caused by the disparity in power.

He gritted his teeth and said, "Okay, very good! One day, I, Sun, will poke a hole in Lingshan Mountain."

As he spoke, resentment appeared on his face.

There is no doubt that after understanding the reason for the journey to the West, Sun Wukong was really angry.

Especially when he knew that the role played by Patriarch Bodhi was not particularly glorious here, his heart was really broken.

Lin Xun was speechless when he saw this. He didn't know how to comfort him. He even felt that if he told Sun Wukong the truth, it would harm him.

But no matter what, his conscience finally settled down, and he smiled and said, "If that day really comes, I will definitely accompany you to fight on Lingshan Mountain and destroy the Great Leiyin Temple."

"Hahaha, you are thoughtful."

Hearing this, Sun Wukong was really happy. If ordinary people heard that he was going to fight on Lingshan Mountain, they would have probably stayed away from him.

Not to mention, acting with him.

Sun Wukong understood this point very well. When he made trouble in Heaven, his sworn brothers all ran away, leaving him alone to face the situation.

He was deeply touched and felt that he had made the right choice in accepting this disciple.

But when he saw that Lin Xuncai had reached the stage of Qi Refining and Spirit Transformation, he knew that if he wanted to fight shoulder to shoulder with him on the Lingshan Mountain, he had to at least achieve the Heavenly Immortal Fruition.

Sun Wukong couldn't help but complain, "However, your cultivation is still a little lacking. After today, you should go travel to the four continents!"

He also knew that Lin Xun's cultivation had long reached a bottleneck, but the cultivation resources near Liangjie Mountain were too scarce, which was why he had not been able to break through for a long time.

Now that I have left this place, I can move to a higher level sooner.

"Ah? Master, now that I'm gone, who will take care of you?"

When Lin Xun heard this, he hurriedly asked.

To be honest, he had actually had the idea of traveling a long time ago.

But as for Sun Wukong, you have to come over often to chat with him and relieve his boredom, and you have to bring some wine and delicious food, so that his life will be better.

"Go rest, go rest."

"I, Old Sun, have already passed hundreds of years under the Five Elements Mountain. I only need these few decades."

"If you are really determined, you can achieve the immortal fruit as soon as possible. This will be the greatest comfort to your master."

Sun Wukong said impatiently that he couldn't delay his disciple's practice because of his personal affairs. And this joke was also verified in the future.

Seeing this, Lin Xun knew that his master really wanted to chase him away, and he had long wanted to go out and take a look, so he simply followed his master's words and responded, "Yes, Master."

After saying this, he remembered that Sun Wukong had not left the Five Elements Mountain for hundreds of years, and wondered if there was anything he needed to do. His disciple could do it for him.

So he asked, "Master, do you have anything else to tell me about this trip?"

Sun Wukong naturally understood the meaning of his disciple's words. He thought that he had not been out of the mountain for hundreds of years and wondered how the monkeys on the Flower-Fruit Mountain were doing.

Moreover, when he caused chaos in the Heavenly Palace, he was suppressed under the Five Elements Mountain before he had time to settle the monkeys.

Ugh!
When Sun Wukong thought of this, he sighed and said, "If you are interested, you can go to Huaguo Mountain and see how my children are doing."

"it is good."

Lin Xun nodded solemnly when he heard this. Sun Wukong had too many enemies back then.

Without him, the Flower-Fruit Mountain would surely be filled with disasters.

Afterwards, Lin Xun stayed at the foot of the Five Elements Mountain for a while, took out all the fine wines and delicacies in the cave world, and then left reluctantly.

………………

At the same time, in the west, on the top of Lingshan Mountain.

There is a magnificent palace named Leiyin Temple, which is the residence of Tathagata Buddha and the place where all Buddhas pay homage.

Inside the main hall, the Buddha sat on a golden lotus platform.

He is tall, with a compassionate and solemn face, and his eyes slightly closed, as if he can see through the past, present and future of all things in the world.

Surrounding him are many Bodhisattvas and Arhats, who are either sitting in meditation or chanting scriptures in a low voice.

At this moment, the Buddha Tathagata, who had his eyes closed, suddenly opened his eyes, and the Buddha's light shone brightly, illuminating the heavens.

Just now he felt that someone was mentioning him, and also talking about Jin Chanzi and Journey to the West.

It turns out that he is similar to the Buddha, who is so powerful that as long as someone mentions him, they will feel the connection with him.

Although the conversation between Lin Xun and Sun Wukong used his magical power to cover the sun and conceal the secret, it also depends on who is talking to him.

How could a small cultivator who had just refined his Qi and transformed his spirit into a spirit hide his magic from the Lord of Lingshan?

If an ordinary person mentioned himself, the Buddha would not pay any attention, but since it is related to the journey to obtain the scriptures, he would still pay attention.

Then, his mind moved, and he raised his broad hands, pinched the magic formula with his fingers, and began to deduce.

"what?"

Suddenly, the Tathagata Buddha showed a look of surprise. Who is it? How come even I can't figure it out?

In his sight, all the vague lines of cause and effect were captured by a bronze mirror.

This mirror is very simple and ancient, with cloud and thunder patterns engraved around the octagonal part and decorated with flying fairies, dragons and phoenixes. If one wants to deduce it again, the mirror will block it and make it difficult to see clearly.

Moreover, this mirror was also extraordinary. Even though he knew everything about astronomy and geography, he did not know what this mirror was, which was why he was so surprised.

All the Arhats and Bodhisattvas in the hall were shocked. The Buddha's cultivation was unfathomable and had long reached a level that was difficult for ordinary people to fathom. What could have made him so surprised?

Manjusri Bodhisattva was even more puzzled and asked, "May I ask the Buddha, what happened in the lower world?"

Upon hearing this, Tathagata Buddha's face was calm, and he said calmly, "It's okay, it's just that there were some problems during the journey, but they are insignificant."

After saying this, he no longer cared about it. The result of this journey to obtain the scriptures was agreed upon by Buddhism and the Heavenly Court. Even if there would be some twists and turns, it would be difficult to change anything.
