Chapter 58 A sudden storm arises
Chapter 58 A sudden storm arises
The dormitory door was knocked loudly, forcing the apprentice hiding in the room to go out, and other people outside arrived one by one.
The cloud servant brought an order that everyone must go to the island to find the criminals who attacked the castle.
"Speed, bring weapons."
"Find the murderer and don't let your mentor down."
This was an order from Wizard Toins, and the apprentices had no way to refuse. No matter what they thought in their hearts, no one dared to neglect their actions.
He didn't expect something to happen so soon. Ivan was still thinking about whether he should take advantage of the chaos to save Pernie, when a figure in a wizard robe ran by quickly, and suddenly all his evil thoughts disappeared.
"Apprentice, get back to the house."
Toins was surrounded by wind energy as he ran. He reached the city gate in just a few steps and left a word for his apprentices while shouting.
The cloud servant left a group of people behind and followed the wizard's steps.
Ivan and the others couldn't help but stop and look at each other, not knowing that the little green-winged snake had misunderstood Toins's furious meaning.
Seeing many people looking at him, Ivan said casually, "Let's go back."
Laurie said: "It is still the teacher who cares about us."
Many people rolled their eyes, too lazy to argue with this man, and went back to their dormitories obediently, waiting for the matter to be over.
Outside the castle.
Toins had already arrived at the altar in the jungle. He muttered something in a low voice, and a trace of breath gathered in his palm, letting him know who attacked him at the first moment.
"Biel, my good disciple, it seems that I cannot keep you."
The harm caused to him by a person who made him feel impossible made him so angry that his nose was almost crooked. He began to think about what kind of experimental specimen he could make his former disciple into.
He casually cast a tracking spell, and the gathered aura turned into a mark, flying to the side.
Toins passed by like a gust of wind, following closely behind the tracking mark.
Three or four minutes later, he saw a figure near the sea.
The energy surged, blocking the tracking mark and turning it into particles.
"Biel, you are becoming more and more promising."
Toins recognized his disciple and did not rush to attack.
When he saw Toins again, the remaining face of Birrell became particularly distorted: "I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I'm still alive and well. I want you to die slowly in the torment of the curse like me."
Toins said calmly: "My good student, let me remind you that your knowledge is taught by me. You can't kill me with what I taught you."
Birrell directly pierced his calmness and said with a smile: "See that altar? I made it. It must make you very uncomfortable. Haha, I won't tell you how I got it."
Sure enough, the look on Toines' face darkened.
"Then I have no choice but to capture you and torture you slowly in the laboratory."
"Die!"
After a disagreement, the two suddenly launched an attack.
Toins used his most powerful spell - Lightning Strike, to kill the giant human-faced snake not far away.
Biller's body suddenly swelled up and turned into a stronger giant snake. He rushed towards his opponent regardless of anything, fighting with his life at stake.
"You can't, Birrell."
The lethality of lightning power is one of the strongest among all elements. After being hit by the "Strike Lightning", Billel's skin was charred with scales all over his body, but his own impact was avoided by Toins.
As Toins spoke, the giant serpent's tail whipped towards him.
The frost shield reappeared, remaining motionless under the attack of the snake's tail.
Birrell underestimated the strength of a wizard. Toins had to use most of his strength to suppress the strange power in his body, but he still couldn't resist it. "Next time, next time I will definitely send you to death."
It was obvious that Birrell wanted to escape, but how could Toins let him do that? The frost shield slightly changed its shape, and the frosty air climbed up the tail of the giant human-faced snake and quickly spread upwards.
"Don't even think about it." Toins noticed that the energy of the snake's tail was becoming rapidly active, and he sent down another bolt of lightning. Compared with the previous one, this hastily fired bolt was much weaker.
With a loud bang, blood mist accompanied by lightning quickly covered an area.
At the critical moment, the giant human-faced snake cut off its tail to survive.
Under the protection of the frost shield, Toins took several steps back.
"Wizard Toins, we are here." The little green-winged snake flew over with many cloud servants, and only saw the wizard standing there. Not far in front of him there was a pool of blood floating in it, and the air was filled with the scent left over from a recent battle.
The enemy disappeared.
The little green-winged snake felt the evil aura emanating from Toins and didn't dare to say anything more.
"Go down and search to see if there is any trace of that bastard Biller."
Under Toins's command, several cloud servants dived into the pool of water, but returned empty-handed, ultimately allowing Billel to escape.
Toins didn't know that at this time, Birrell had already drilled out of the sea water into a large underground cave and reunited with the four-armed ape.
“Hahahaha, he definitely couldn’t suppress the curse power in his body this time and suffered severe damage. The fact that I can come back alive is the best proof of this, hahahaha.”
Billel now looked extremely miserable. Not only was only half of his body left, but his entire body was charred and cracked, as if it would shatter in the next second. However, he didn't care at all and told the four-armed ape about his victory with a terrifying smile.
"You're dying." The four-armed ape still had a wooden face.
A moment later, the four-armed ape stretched out one of its hands, and its thick hair fell off, revealing its fair and smooth skin. There was a green curse mark on its arm. The index finger of its hand squirmed and fell off, then flew towards Biller, and soon a new finger grew out.
Birrell swallowed the finger that was thrown at him in one gulp. The cracked scaly skin began to heal, the charred skin peeled off, and the tail slowly grew out.
The four-armed ape watched the scene in a daze.
"Next time, we'll kill that wizard and clean up all the filth on the island, leaving no one behind."
After taking the special tonic, Birrell's eyes were full of madness. He turned his head to look behind the four-armed ape. Not far away there was a gray iron pillar that was out of place in the cave.
The gray iron pillars are covered with a layer of solid ice, through which dense runes like seaweed can be seen. The runes spread upward into the island, with no one knowing where the end is.
"Okay." The four-armed ape responded.
……
As the sky darkened, Toins lifted the apprentices' house arrest, and everything seemed as if nothing had happened.
After dinner, Ivan contacted Penny who was in confinement and told her what had happened before.
"You mean the teal energy?"
"That's right. He attacked Toins alone. Toins was extremely angry and almost made us chase him out to find him. In the end, he ordered the apprentices to be grounded. It was only ended half an hour ago. It seems that Toins failed to kill the enemy."
After listening to Ivan's story, Penny paced back and forth in the closed room, her expression changing constantly.
After a few seconds, she said in a heavy tone: "Ivan, we are in big trouble. Damn Birrell, I knew he was a lunatic who didn't care about anything."
Ivan's heart skipped a beat and he asked hurriedly, "What do you mean?"
"That damn lunatic, I shouldn't have come back."
"Penny, Penny, you need to cheer up and tell me what the trouble is."
Listening to the discouraging words coming from the other side, Ivan's uneasiness grew.
It's already this late, and the young lady opposite is actually complaining about herself. Isn't it too late to say this now?
