After more than a month of updates, it is finally going to be released. As the first signed book of this plop, it is considered... a bit special?
Even I don’t feel anything at all (laughs).
There are actually quite a few stories behind the birth of this article, but I don’t intend to simply write about these materials in the remarks, so I won’t go into details.
Let’s talk about the book itself.
I personally think that this article is indeed very niche for the current Qidian male channel.
This was anticipated before the book was published, and the fact that the number of collections has not yet reached 3,000 is further proof of this (of course, the most direct reason for the small number of collections is probably because this is the level of writing of this flop newbie).
[Male-oriented female protagonist] + [Niche project Go], it’s okay to have two huge debuffs superimposed.
As a result, I also chose the extremely non-mainstream [female-transformed-into-female] in [male-female protagonist] (which will greatly affect the reader's sense of immersion), and chose the counter-trend [more realistic] writing style in [Go literature] (if any big guys have read other Go literature, you should know that the current Go literature on Qidian is generally more catered to the audience of abstract fun), almost like crazy making it difficult for myself.
But there is no other way. I have to prioritize writing in a way that makes me feel comfortable.
Ever since I decided to try writing online articles, the failures I’ve experienced in the past year or so have taught me that if I write something I like, it might be barely acceptable, but if I write something I don’t like, it will definitely be a failure.
Back to the book itself.
Because this was Ben's first signed novel, there were many setbacks and even a situation where the text had to be significantly revised.
Fortunately, there are still a number of bigwigs willing to support this extremely niche Go novel with a female protagonist, which makes me very happy.
