Chapter 86 is now available, let’s have a brief chat

The author is a newcomer and this is not his first book, but this is the best performing one. In fact, it is his first time writing about the end of the world, and he did not expect to have so many friends supporting him.

First of all, I would like to thank all the readers who have read this far for their patience.

This is the case with newcomers. They don't have a clear plan at the beginning. The outline of this book at the beginning is actually about farming in the apocalypse, upgrading an invincible chariot, and then having a free time along the way, collecting harems, facing the overwhelming tide of zombies outside, and then lying leisurely in the carriage with complete supplies and a sturdy fortress, living a comfortable life in the apocalypse.

I believe that many people have fantasized about or liked this feeling when watching apocalyptic TV shows, movies, or novels. That’s why writing about apocalyptic shelters has been quite popular in recent years. I also thought in this direction at the beginning, and everyone who reads the setting introduction will also think it is heading in this direction.

But writing about it is not the same as imagining a victory settlement.

For example: After the permanent shelter is built, it will be fun for a while, and then...

Another example: The train upgrades to an invincible fortress, there is no danger, full of security, and I have been hugging a beautiful woman in the steel fortress for a few days. How should I write the next chapter...

Cultivation?
So I started to rethink and make settings, wanting to write about a dangerous doomsday.

The end of the world, survival and insecurity are the core themes.

A sense of security is built and acquired step by step, but there are countless possibilities in the darkness, and there is always a survival crisis. Only when there is a crisis can there be motivation.

If the protagonist of a post-apocalyptic novel no longer faces a survival crisis, wouldn't it just become a fantasy-style upgrade and face-slapping novel?
You may have seen from many of the previous reviews that the development of this book is somewhat different from what many readers "thought" it would be.

For example, if you think that people should be lone wolves in the end times, you will start to criticize women in the first chapter, but if you don’t write about women, people will call you a eunuch.

For example, some people think that in the end times one should just stay alive and develop, then become invincible and go out for a stroll with a full sense of security, and they keep scolding me for not letting the protagonist stop and develop with such awesome superpowers.

(It was to avoid this problem that I designed the end of the world in a battle royale, and also set up time-consuming, energy-consuming, unknown dangers, and emphasized the functionality of the protagonist's abilities rather than their combativeness. The purpose was to deliberately prevent everyone from thinking in the direction of hiding. Many people think that the protagonist's mechanical abilities are so amazing, and that's how it should be played. If it's played that way, according to the author's writing style, it would be a drop in intelligence. I'm just short of adding a setting that [prohibits the protagonist from hiding, and will die directly if he stays there for more than 24 hours]...) Helpless...╮(╯_╰)╭
PS: Actually, I listened to the opinions in the comments section, and I really stopped to rest and develop for three or four chapters, but I was scolded for being too watery again...

For example, people think that the protagonist in the apocalypse should be decisive in killing, and the supporting characters should be killed in one blow if they have any ideas and schemes. All characters are either loyal subordinates who are responsible for showing shocked expressions, or vicious villains who come out and receive their death directly.

But I have never labeled the protagonist as a decisive killer. He is just a college student who has gained superpowers and is planning a seemingly crazy escape plan. I think that whether it is a supporting role or a passerby, everyone has their own concept of survival in the apocalypse.

The protagonist's special abilities are only the foundation of the underlying structure, and to achieve such a goal, teamwork and mutual support are needed.

Friends who can read this article should have noticed that I am trying to use a long story to shape a character, such as KIKI, such as Teacher Chen, and later Sasha and new teammates will also have some key plot developments.

From the girl on the helicopter in the first chapter, to the 23rd to 26th chapters that were scolded by many people, a scheming and insecure passenger, mutual suspicion, to the reconciliation later, and then gradually understanding KIKI's personality reasons...

I admit that my writing skills are too immature to be like the great writers who can “make a vivid character come to life on paper with just a few strokes”, so I can only write long articles. …

So when new authors see good results but are constantly being scolded, they struggle with how to make changes and start to become a little schizophrenic.

However, after the guidance of the editor, I adjusted my mindset.

Some people like the pretentious doomsday that gives a sense of security, while others like the doomsday that is full of unknowns and challenges of survival. There is a group of people who like each story.

In fact, some old readers have criticized it, saying that it was written ten years ago.

I totally agree with this.

Because I really haven’t read Faloo Tomato’s novels in these years, and I haven’t thought about that brand new routine, such as pretending to be cool and slapping people in the face, showing off in front of others, and the whole cool routine of no more than 3 chapters. I also don’t want to write according to that routine (uh... although the title of the book is Faloo Wind)
As you can see from the introduction, he is not the kind of witty, meme-filled, funny, or the kind that first suppresses and then praises the supreme being.

This is a completely unknown survival adventure.

Natural disasters, blizzards, darkness, weirdness, supernatural phenomena, sky monsters, puzzles, battles, etc.

There has always been a lack of security in terms of food, water, energy, air, warmth, etc.

Survival is always the main theme of the doomsday.

As the wheels roll, there is always an unknown adventure ahead.

……

Finally, I have said all that needs to be said. I will work harder and update more frequently. I hope to write a post-apocalyptic novel that is interesting and not cliched. I also hope that everyone will support me by subscribing to monthly tickets. Please bear with me if there are any shortcomings.

Thank you all my friends. If you like this book, you can join the group. I will chat with you about the content of the book before I write anything. You can also share your ideas if you have any.

It will be on the shelves tomorrow. I beg all the book lovers to give me a first order. Thank you very much.
