Chapter 114 Discharge

The next day, Della woke up early and immediately noticed the curtain of the bed opposite her was suddenly drawn.

"You woke up early today. Your schedule is pretty good." Madam Pomfrey came over with a breakfast tray when she saw Della wake up. "I think you have rested enough. You can go back today."

"Thank you so much for your care these past few days, Madam Pomfrey," Della took the breakfast with a smile, and then she caught a glimpse of Harry who was still sleeping with a frown on his brow, "It seems that Harry didn't rest very well last night."

"Growing bones is very painful," Madam Pomfrey shook her head. She took out Della's clothes from the drawer under the cabinet and handed them to her. "I'll help you draw the curtain. After breakfast, just put the tray on the bedside table."

"Okay," Della paused and looked at the airtight bed opposite her. "Excuse my curiosity, Madam Pomfrey, is there any emergency there?"

"..." Madam Pomfrey's expression became tangled, and it was obvious that she didn't want to say it, but after a sigh, she still spoke, "A first-year student was petrified last night. Don't panic, Della, we will make him recover, and Hogwarts will also ensure the safety of the students."

"I believe everything about Hogwarts, Madam Pomfrey." Della smiled as obediently as usual, but there was a hint of sadness between her brows. She quickly changed the subject, "Is Harry also being discharged from the hospital today? Can I wait for him to leave together?"

"I think there shouldn't be any problem." Madam Pomfrey patted Della's shoulder, smiled at her lovingly, then closed Della's curtain and walked out.

Della was lost in thought for a moment before slowly enjoying her hot breakfast.

Just as she had thought before, the heir did not have the intention to kill. If she guessed correctly, the student behind the curtain was a Muggle-born. And judging by how easy it was to get the answer from Madam Pomfrey, Dumbledore had no intention of suppressing the news.

Well, by now, the panic should have spread.

But why, why create such fear?

Della didn't think this was something Voldemort would do. It was neither in line with his arrogant style nor would it be beneficial to his resurrection.

But to say that this was an attack carried out purely by believers in the bloodline theory is not so convincing as there are too many points that can be linked to Voldemort.

Della finished her breakfast and changed her clothes while thinking. When she opened the curtain, she saw that Harry had woken up. Della immediately smiled and said, "Good morning, Harry."

"Good morning, Della," Harry replied awkwardly. He was about to say something else, but Madam Pomfrey came over with breakfast, so he stopped talking.

As Madam Pomfrey examined Harry's arms and fingers, Maggie swam back up behind her and Della crouched down and took Maggie onto her shoulders.

Madam Pomfrey finished the examination and gave a few more instructions before leaving. Della simply sat down beside Harry's bed. She stroked Maggie and said, "Did you want to tell me something just now, Harry?"

"..." Harry swallowed his saliva, showing obvious hesitation. He looked at Maggie on Della's shoulder evasively, "Shi-Hai-Ya (I want to ask who has been taking care of Maggie recently. I haven't been with him for a long time)."

Della frowned, but didn't ask Harry about his concealment. Like Harry, she looked at Maggie, waiting for the little snake to reply.

"Heath-Asa (Thank you for your concern, Harry, I just got back from Trevor Ewing)." Maggie said with her snake tongue.

"Senior Ewing from the sixth year of Slytherin?" Della asked casually. She looked at Maggie and nodded his snake head.

"Hai-hihasa-hi (I'm glad someone is taking care of you. I feel like I haven't seen you for a long time this semester)." Harry smiled at Maggie, still speaking in Parseltongue.

Della found it a little strange that Harry kept speaking Parseltongue, but seeing that Harry had almost finished his breakfast, she didn't ask any more questions. She just considerately helped him close the curtain and said she would wait for him outside the door.

"Where was it last night?" Della asked Maggie softly after walking out the door. After getting the affirmative answer from the little snake, she nodded to herself.

The passages inside the doll had basically been built last time, but before the "fusion" could be performed, restrictions had to be imposed on the alchemical products to prevent any uncontrollable situations in the end, so Maggie needed to conduct another round of material experiments.

Overall, the progress is still very fast. Della estimates that she will be able to get the first finished product as early as Christmas.

"Let's go, Della." Harry changed his clothes and walked to Della. Maybe it was because he had deliberately concealed it before, he still looked uncomfortable at this time.

"I can't wait to hear you tell me about Quidditch, Gryffindor Seeker." Della laughed.

At this point, Harry became excited. He first told Della about the abnormality of the Bludger (omitting Dobby), and also said that Slytherin had scored a lot of points in the early stages. When talking about the Golden Snitch next to Malfoy's ear, Harry used great patience to make his words sound less sarcastic.

However, all the bad words that he had suppressed suddenly came out when he mentioned Lockhart. He raised his right hand in front of the two of them. "He actually had the nerve to say, 'The key is that you will never feel pain again.' I really hope that his whole body can be as good as he said and will never feel pain again!"

"Professor Lockhart, it's true..." Della opened her mouth and only expressed her agreement with Harry's words with her tone, without saying any harsh words. She would now be more careful about her words and actions outside than before.

When they passed by the library, they ran into Percy who had just come out.

"Good morning, Harry, Della," Percy greeted the two of them. He seemed to be in a good mood. "You had a great flight yesterday, Harry. You won fifty points for Gryffindor. Now we are first!"

Harry twitched his lips, looked at Percy and asked, "Do you know where Ron and Hermione are?"

"No, I don't know," Percy said, his face serious again. "I hope Ron doesn't go into the girls' room again..."

"What?" Della opened her eyes wide, not quite believing what she heard.

"No, nothing." Percy did not continue this indecent topic. He looked at Della and said helplessly, "I just hope he can be more stable."

Harry on the side pursed his lips and looked uncomfortable again. After saying goodbye to Percy, the two continued walking towards the stairs to the second floor.

"Are you going back to the dormitory now?" Harry said when he was almost at the stairs.

"Now that this is the plan, do you have anything else to say, Harry?" Della looked at Harry and asked again.

Just after meeting those black eyes for a second, Harry turned away his green eyes and replied sullenly, "Nothing, take care of yourself, Della."

"You too, take care of yourself. Goodbye, Harry." Della smiled and nodded at him, then went downstairs.

"Goodbye, Della," said Harry, and he went up the steps.

Once they were underground where there was almost no one, Maggie turned around and hissed, "Shahi-Saya (You know what Harry is hiding, why don't you ask him about it? It's obvious that he still has the intention to speak up)."

"You really stood up straight when you said that," Della smiled and walked along the wall. "Now is not the time to get all the information, and I am a very patient person."

"Sa-ya (also very cold)." Maggie slid deftly onto Della's other shoulder.

"Is it my illusion? I feel like you are provoking me." Della slowed down her pace and raised one of her eyebrows.

"Sa-hisa (a compliment in Slytherin)," Maggie shook her tail, "Hai-sha-ha-ya (After the news of Creevey's petrification came out this morning, Theodore Nott told me that he wanted to go to Snape's office next time)."

"He's talking to the snake about his wishes. It seems he's still testing the waters," Della laughed softly. "Theodore is actually quite interesting. He's trying to follow in his father's footsteps while also emphasizing himself."

"Heia--Sa (But he does have vision and is decisive in doing things so far)." Maggie spat out the snake's tongue, thinking of what Della had told her about the night she and Theodore were in the office.

"You talk as if I'm going to start a gang," Della laughed and shook her head. "I don't plan to take advantage of my father's power. That night, my conversation with Theodore was more about trying to get information out of him, and I've achieved my goal.

"Sa-ya (So, you're going to ignore his wishes)?" Maggie hissed, tilting her head.

"It will be fine if we delay it. You know how Slytherins talk. Besides, with such a big smoke bomb, I think it will be easy to handle." Della stood at the door of the Slytherin common room. She looked at the wet stone wall and curled her lips slightly. "Now, there are other things to worry about."

For example, a Slytherin Seeker who lost the game yesterday and is now in a bad mood.

Della hoped that Draco would be as easy to coax this time as last time.
