Chapter 155 How would I know?

Chapter 155 How would I know?
Those who often go to Youzuo Temple know that in this "local" scene, the most terrifying thing is not encountering monsters, or even getting interpretations such as "bound by sin" or "disaster of blood".

Instead, I was caught by the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas here and asked, "Who am I?"

Because there is no correct answer to this question at all. You should know that there are many erudite people among those who come here to recall the past, and some are even good at studying Buddhist classics.

That really means knowing a lot.

But it is precisely because of my knowledge that I know this question that there is simply no way to answer it, because according to Buddhism, this question touches upon the essence of human existence and the core of self-consciousness, and there must be multiple levels of understanding and answers.

For example, the theory of the five aggregates. Buddhism believes that humans are composed of the five aggregates of form, feeling, perception, volition and consciousness. But in fact, these five aggregates are impermanent and changing, and there is no fixed "self". Therefore, from this perspective, "self" is just a concept composed of the five aggregates, which is temporary and fluid.

There is also the theory of no self, which means that there is no fixed, independent, and eternal "self". There is also the theory of emptiness and the theory of realm.
In short, no matter what I say about east, west, south, north, yin and yang, positive and negative, it makes sense. Conversely, no matter what I say, I can say you are wrong.

It's just unreasonable.

In the past, there was a man named Shiyi who considered himself an expert in Buddhism who tried to solve this problem, but he died miserably.

It can be said that the question of "Who am I" is a question that is doomed to fail and has no solution in Buddhism.

Whoever touches it will die!

Everyone moved away from Luo Xi even faster, because this Manjushri Bodhisattva was different from the other Buddha heads and the angry Vajra. The others only asked once and then disappeared, but this big guy could ask three times, which meant he could kill at least three Shiyi people.

But this is already pretty good. Other places, such as the Buddha Tathagata in front, can at least kill seven people.

Relatively speaking, the chances of survival here are greater.

Otherwise, why would so many people choose to gather in this place?

"What a pity!" The long-haired beauty Scorpion grinned, turned around and patted Brother Seven: "How about we guess how he will die? Beheaded, skinned, or gutted."

".Huh?" The Seventh Brother who was about to speak suddenly raised his eyebrows and his eyes widened. His originally cold expression was out of control at this time. He looked surprised and puzzled, and there was an imperceptible joy.

Look over there again.

Luo Xi leaned over and whispered to the statue of Manjusri Bodhisattva. The latter actually nodded and said "Great Goodness", then turned around. The next moment, his figure was like wind blowing yellow sand, disappearing in an instant, and reappeared in an instant, but when he appeared, he was already in front of another person who had recalled the past. He smiled and asked, "Who am I?"

All the people who recalled the past were speechless when they saw this scene.

It was like a thunder explosion in my ears, and I was completely stunned.

The person who was asked "Who am I" never realized what happened until he died. Why was the person before him fine?
Could it be that the other party answered this question correctly?
But this question has no answer at all. What on earth did the other party answer to make Manjushri Bodhisattva let him go?
After the shock, there was curiosity.

Out of strong curiosity, many Shiyi people stared at Luo Xi with shining eyes.

"He is so funny and cool!" Brother Seven felt his heart beating fast at this moment.

She had never had this feeling before. The man's soul was changeable and his soul color was like colors, which made her pay special attention and be very curious. She didn't expect that this person's ability was so strong that he could even answer the fatal question of "Who am I?"

To Brother Qi, this man is extremely cool.

Especially since the opponent was obviously entangled by the two worst solutions and could not move, he was still calm.

Looking closely at his eyebrows, eyes and facial features, my heart beat faster.

"Fuck, you pervert, you wouldn't really fall for him, would you? Aren't you a tomboy? Aren't you a real man made of steel and concrete? Didn't you say you liked my type the best?" Poison Scorpion saw something in Seventh Brother's eyes and immediately became annoyed.

However, Seventh Brother couldn't hear any of these words at all.

She took out a card and activated it towards Luo Xi.

【Stimulate soul power】

The next moment, a stream of light fell on Luo Xi.

Luo Xi was also surprised.

At first he thought someone was using the power of cards to attack him, but when he felt an inexplicable and violent force filling his body, he realized that this was not a malicious attack, but a benefit.

It could be a spell, or it could be some kind of curse.

But the effect was good. Luo Xi felt that the big-headed monk on his back seemed to have become half as light as before.

This has allowed him to regain his mobility, although it is still very slow, but much better than the previous state of exhaustion.

In addition, Luo Xi could also feel an extremely strange feeling.

His mental strength seemed to have doubled. Not only himself, but he could also hear some strange shouting sounds.

It seemed to come from the depths of his spirit, from the various personalities that he had suppressed.

"This woman's abilities are very interesting!"

Luo Xi glanced at the cool girl with short hair, and she smiled at him.

The statue of Manjushri Bodhisattva killed two people in total.

Basically, anyone who is targeted by him will die, but Luo Xi is the only exception.

Chaos, terror and death began to return to normal as the bell sound gradually faded away. The Buddha heads, wrathful Vajra and Manjushri Bodhisattva that appeared all disappeared as the bell sound faded away.

It seemed like everything was back to normal.

Except for a few more corpses on the ground.

"It's good this time, only a few died." The middle-aged man Lao Jin ran out from somewhere and walked towards Luo Xi. Not only him, but also the other Shiyi people did the same. As if they had made an appointment in advance, they surrounded Luo Xi.

"Brother, what did you say to Manjusri Bodhisattva just now?" someone asked directly. "How should I know?" Luo Xi replied quickly.

He moved his arms and felt strength surging out. Moreover, the fatigue and sleepiness brought by carrying the big-headed monk for too long were mostly reduced at this moment, and his condition recovered a lot.

What card effect is this?
Will there be any side effects?

Luo Xi was very curious.

"How could you not know? You just don't want to tell me. Haha, although there is no way to do it here, there will be no such restriction after you get out. Think it over carefully." The person who said this obviously wanted to scare and get something for free.

If we really want to go out, the other party may not dare to take action. They just rely on their numbers and everyone wants to know the answer, so they use intimidation.

"How should I know?" Luo Xi asked again, with a joking expression.

"Can't I give you some cards in exchange?" When intimidation failed, he began to bribe.

"How do I know?"

"Okay, you've got guts!" The man was a little defeated.

Lao Jin came over at this time and said: "Brother, don't pay attention to them. I think you are the real master. Let's discuss it. Tell me the answer, and I will definitely satisfy you."

As he spoke, Lao Jin gestured with his hands.

He stretched out three fingers at first, but when he saw that Luo Xi was unmoved, he changed it to five fingers.

Seeing that Luo Xi hadn't responded yet, Lao Jin also shook his head: "Forget it, I am very sincere, and there is nothing I can do if you don't like it."

After saying that, he sighed.

"Okay, you should all know how I could possibly tell you this kind of thing for no reason. Just go do what you need to do. It's a waste of time staying here." The undead came over and started to drive people away.

Everyone naturally knows that there is no free lunch in the world.

Moreover, even if the other party told them, they might not believe it, let alone take the risk to try it themselves.

So don't waste your time.

The crowd slowly dispersed, each looking for other places to worship Buddha and obtain new interpretations of the fortune sticks.

After the undead drove these people away, he gave Luo Xi a thumbs up.

"Brother, you are awesome. I really thought you were dead just now."

"It was a fluke." Luo Xi also smiled.

The immortal stretched out his fingers and began to count: "In the front hall is Sakyamuni, in the side hall is Medicine Buddha, in the middle hall, on the left is Manjusri, on the right is Samantabhadra, oh yes, there is also the Guanyin Hall over there, and in the back is the Ksitigarbha Hall. It can be said that the six points for worshipping Buddha can be found directly, which correspond to the six interpretations of the divination sticks. As for how to find the seventh interpretation of the divination stick, you have to go to some hidden areas, such as in the clouds and mist, and under the dry well. It is said that there is another hidden area, but I don't know. All the hidden areas have to be tried by luck. That's all I know."

Obviously, the undead was returning the favor for what had happened before.

It was like what he thought in his heart, if he didn't return anything, he would feel bad.

"Oh, right. From now on, the bell will ring every ten minutes. If you are not dead after the third time and have not obtained seven solutions, all the solutions will be taken away and you will be kicked out. It is up to you to decide how to choose. I suggest you find a place to hide. When the time is up, you can remove the negative solutions."

The immortal is giving good advice.

Luo Xi could see it, so he thanked him sincerely.

After saying this, the Immortal said goodbye and left. He did not ask what Luo Xi had talked about with Manjushri Bodhisattva before. He probably knew that it was a secret. Since it was a secret, how could he easily tell others?

At this point, almost everyone around had left.

After all, everyone wants to collect all seven solutions.

As for Luo Xi, he already had five interpretations, which were:

A neutral sign, avoid bloody disasters, turn back and practice cultivation early;

It is a medium-level sign. It is difficult to guess the news from the horizon. Don’t force it.
A neutral sign means that bad karma will eventually be repaid, while good deeds will bring blessings.
The best fortune, the tide is turning, the good is just around the corner, a gentleman is coming out of the mountains with vigor;
The best fortune is like a crane escaping from a cage, leaving nothing behind.
This last good fortune was obtained just now at the worship point of Manjushri Bodhisattva.

In this way, he has changed all the worst lots into medium lots. If you only look at the interpretation of the lots, it is already quite good.

Of the six places mentioned by the immortal just now, Luo Xi has not been to two yet, namely the places for worshipping the Bodhisattvas Samantabhadra and Ksitigarbha. If these two are included, there will be exactly seven interpretations of the fortune.

Because before, Luo Xi had entered the clouds and worshipped the Future Buddha.

Looking around, Luo Xi was a little surprised that the two women didn't come over just now, and he didn't know where they went now.

Not to mention the long-haired scorpion, he is snobbish and realistic. He seems smart but is actually extremely stupid.

It's weird to see girls with short hair and acting cool.

"Why did she help me?" Luo Xi analyzed several possibilities, but felt that they were all unreliable, so he simply suppressed this question for the time being.

As for what he had just said to Manjushri Bodhisattva, Luo Xi had actually said it openly.

It's the phrase 'How should I know?'

Of course, even if others knew, they would not be able to copy it because they do not have "lies".

Therefore, only Luo Xi can deceive the Bodhisattva.
