"Practice begins with eating air, but Junior Sister, you don't need to learn eating air?"
Cheng Xinzhan called Gu Xinsu to come and sit at the table under the persimmon tree.
He was still not used to it. At first, he had been calling him fellow Taoist for several years. In fact, when they first met, he was so scared when he saw Long Zhong that he opened his mouth to call him "senior". Later, when they got to know each other better, he found that Long Zhong was childish, like a child, so he changed his way of calling him fellow Taoist.
This dragon couldn't speak and didn't know its name, so it just kept calling it "fellow Taoist" for many years. Later, when they became familiar with each other, they found out its name, learned about its background, and knew its age. Then they invited it to live in Meiji Mountain, so they changed its name to Qin'er.
I have called her Qin'er for many years and I'm used to it. Now I have to change and call her junior sister. I really can't believe that.
Hearing Cheng Xinzhan's question, the girl nodded. To be honest, she couldn't even understand how to not eat air.
"So Junior Sister must have been absorbing water spirit energy?"
The girl nodded again. It was her instinct to consume air, but her instinct only allowed her to consume water energy.
Cheng Xinzhan conjured up a lead bottle and placed it in front of the girl.
"This is the Dragon Roar Water Thunder Gang. It has the power of a dragon and the spirit of water. It should be more suitable for you. It can be regarded as a meeting gift from my senior brother."
"Thank you, senior brother."
The girl thanked him and put the bottle away, looking very polite.
Cheng Xinzhan found it a little funny. Although this dragon girl had a quiet personality, she was not a wooden person. Every time she came back from going out, she was dragged to play in the water. This time, she turned into a human form and became a junior sister, so she felt a little strange.
"Junior sister, how come we are so close yet so distant? Are you still being distant with me?"
Cheng Xinzhan said with a smile.
The girl glanced at Lao Bai and said coquettishly,
"Mr. Bai said that this is how human women should be."
Cheng Xinzhan glanced over.
Lao Bai's heart skipped a beat, and his beard trembled. "It was you who asked what a human woman should be like. I also read in a book that this is what I read."
"Don't bring up those old-fashioned and bad habits you've seen in the secular world to the mountains, lest you make a fool of yourself, and don't mislead others."
Cheng Xinzhan said calmly.
But Lao Bai could tell that Cheng Xinzhan was a little angry. He was frightened and kept bowing and saying yes, saying that he would never dare to do it again.
Cheng Xinzhan turned his gaze to the girl and said, "Junior sister, don't listen to him. He hasn't even transformed into a human form yet, and he is not a woman. People are never the same. Junior sister has always been good and doesn't need to change."
The girl's eyes lit up as she listened, "Is what you said true, brother?"
Cheng Xinzhan nodded and said with a smile, "Look at Master, what does she look like?"
The girl thought about it and felt that her master acted decisively and efficiently, which was really not what Bai Gongfeng said.
But what kind of woman was my mother? My father always said that my mother was a strong woman. What kind of a strong woman was that? My mother passed away when I was very young. Now I only remember that my mother's singing voice was very beautiful, and I can't remember anything else.
Father, are you okay now?
My daughter already has a master and fellow apprentices. She is no longer alone.
The girl's reverie came suddenly. Cheng Xinzhan saw that she was suddenly dazed and smiled indifferently. She was often like this before. She just took his words to heart, acted like herself again, and was no longer so reserved.
Cheng Xinzhan waited quietly until the girl came to her senses before continuing,
“Junior sister, you don’t need to spend too much effort on breathing, but you still need to learn how to breathe and meditate. First, breathing can strengthen your internal organs. Second, it can calm your mind. Third, you also need to absorb the spiritual energy of the other four elements. Although you can specialize in the water element in the future, you cannot completely understand the other four elements. Since you have entered the Taoist sect, if you only understand one of the five elements, then you know nothing.
"In addition, you still have to learn the visualization method. The inner scene technique is one of the most mysterious methods in Taoism. Eating Qi is just its most basic use. Moreover, you are born of dragon seed, so sooner or later you will have to visualize the form of a real dragon."
Xinshu nodded and said yes.
"Junior sister, learn the breathing method and visualization method together. For the breathing method, I have the breathing guidance formula passed down by our master. For the visualization method, you should start by imitating the crystal palace at the bottom of the pond, and then expand the crystal palace in your mind. After your mental power is solidified, I will teach you the five elements spell. After the five elements are complete, we will talk about the way of yin and yang. Do you think this is a good idea?"
The girl nodded and blinked, "Xinshu, I don't quite understand, just listen to Senior Brother."
In the past, Green Chi had hardly practiced cultivation, so how could he understand these things?
Next, Cheng Xinzhan began to teach Green Chi the five-word breathing mantra, which also became the beginning of his nightmarish journey of spreading the Dharma.
This green dragon had transformed into a human form not long ago and was a stutterer. He didn't understand the coordination of his throat, tongue, mouth, teeth and lips. After a few hours, Cheng Xinzhan felt that he was not teaching him spells, but teaching him pronunciation and speaking.
"Alright, alright, Junior Sister, that's all for today. You can practice at your leisure and think more about how to pronounce the word [hush]."
Cheng Xinzhan said while rubbing his brow.
"it is good."
The girl nodded like a chick pecking at rice, and babbled for a long time. Her mouth was dry and she didn't want to practice anymore. She quickly went to take a nap underwater.
Seeing the girl jump into the water in a hurry, Cheng Xinzhan couldn't help but shake his head and thought,
Master, you really have never experienced the hardship of being a master!
Cheng Xinzhan sighed and entered the Wuyou Cave.
He burned incense, changed his clothes, sat with his five hearts facing the sky, and closed his eyes to enter into meditation.
He was sorting out the gains and losses of his time overseas in his mind, and was thinking about the next step.
At this point, I have gone through all three sects of the Demonic Path, from the simplest to the most complex.
The first time he went to Southern Xinjiang, he stood on the side of the Taoist and side sects in Miao Xinjiang to deal with the Southern Demon Sect forces headed by Baiman Mountain in the Southern Wilderness.
At that time, my realm was too low and I didn't dare to go to the front line. Basically, I didn't have any direct conflict with the people in the Demon Cult. I drew talismans and repaired tools in a logistics base. In my spare time, I practiced sword and footwork. My understanding of the Southern Demon Cult came from my friends in Miaojiang.
The second time he went to the West Sea, he served as a frontline soldier, facing the newly established Blood God Cult and stayed there for a full half a year. Then he went deep into the northern border and traveled east along the northern line, and basically understood the style of the Northern Demon Cult.
The third time, which was the most recent time, was to the East China Sea, where he infiltrated the Overseas Demon Sect and learned about the division of power within the Overseas Demon Sect, and met some of the bigwigs in the Overseas Demon Sect. These three trips also allowed him to see the similarities and differences between the three sects.
The southern faction is cunning and cruel, the northern faction is cold-blooded and ruthless, and the overseas faction is tyrannical and lustful.
The common point is that they all regard human life as worthless.
They all deserve to be killed.
It was during these three journeys that Cheng Xinzhan learned that cultivation is not only about seeking the truth in immortal mountains, but also about harming the world in demon caves. At the same time, it also made him realize that the purpose of cultivation is not only to achieve immortality, but also to eliminate demons and defend the truth.
However, the ability to slay demons and defend the way is based on one's own strength. If one does not enter the third realm, one will never be able to show up. One can kill small demons but cannot stop great evil.
Cheng Xinzhan originally wanted to stay in the Second Realm for a long time, open up more physical acupoints, practice supernatural powers, understand the essence of life, and lay a solid foundation for longevity. However, after three trips to the devil's cave, coupled with the domineering Emei and the evil intentions of Longhu, he actually felt a sense of urgency.
The words of the headmaster when we first set out to sea still echo in my ears.
"It seems that this world has been peaceful and prosperous for a long time, but once we wake up and look around, we will find that we are already facing internal and external troubles!"
Yes, the world is already in chaos. If you still turn a deaf ear to what is happening outside and just sit quietly in the mountains and strive for perfection, is this what you want?
No.
I wish to live forever, but I also want peace on earth.
This is what Cheng Xinzhan was thinking.
What does the perfection of the two realms mean compared to the well-being of the human world?
If we don’t have this beautiful world, even if we achieve immortality, what difference will it make from the stone sculptures in the temple?
Besides, what does it mean to just achieve perfection in the second realm at the moment on the path to immortality?
If the second realm is not perfect, the golden elixir may be incomplete.
But so what? Might as well wash it clean!
As for the hidden truth of destiny, you can put it aside for now. It will not be too late to look back and look for it after you have achieved the golden elixir!
If an outsider eavesdropped on Cheng Xinzhan's thoughts at this moment, he would surely burst into laughter. A minor cultivator of the second realm actually talked nonsense about the path to immortality and the well-being of the world. Isn't this ridiculous?
But no matter what others think, this is indeed Cheng Xinzhan's true heart.
Now that he had made up his mind, Cheng Xinzhan remained steadfast.
The next thing to consider is forming the elixir.
The golden elixir is the beginning of immortality, the source of the sea of qi, and the essence of the inner alchemy. The so-called collecting wind and drinking dew, absorbing purple and eating clouds, eating the qi of heaven and earth, and receiving the essence of the sun and the moon, in the end, is just to form this golden elixir.
The inner small world and the great natural world, Qi is the bridge between them. Only by introducing the Qi of the great natural world into the inner small world can the inner small world be activated. Only when the inner small world is activated can we talk about essence, energy and spirit.
Among the three treasures of essence, energy and spirit, energy is the cornerstone. Only with energy can we cultivate the mortal body into the essence of Taoism. Only with energy can we condense the three souls and seven spirits into an indispersible spirit.
Before cultivating the Dao fetus and the primordial spirit, one must first condense the Qi into a golden elixir.
The golden elixir is a seed that is formed from the essence of the natural universe and condensed in the small world of the human body. It is the starting point for transcendence and the beginning of immortality.
There is the term "golden elixir" in various Taoist sects. Taoism calls it golden elixir, Buddhism calls it sarira, and the magic sect calls it yuanzhu. There are many subdivisions and aliases in it. There are dozens of terms in the many Taoist sects alone. The inner elixir sect calls it inner elixir, the stargazing sect calls it ziwei, the primordial spirit sect calls it flying boat, the corpse-transmutation sect calls it cicada essence, and so on.
This is enough to illustrate the cornerstone-like status of the golden elixir in many cultivation lineages.
The Taoists call it the Golden Elixir, which of course does not mean that the elixir belongs to the element of gold, let alone that it is golden. It is called the Golden Elixir because it means that the nature of gold is immortal and that one can live forever.
In the practice of inner alchemy, to create the golden elixir, one must use the physical body as the elixir furnace, magic power as the true fire, and refine the yin and yang elixir to form the elixir.
Here, the alchemy furnace is the Huangting, the true fire is the magic power, and the yin and yang elixir is the Tiangang Disha.
The reason why the elixir furnace is called Huangting is because Huangting connects all the major acupoints and meridians of the human body. When the elixir is placed here, it is the headquarters for qi circulation. With just a thought, the qi can reach any place. Conversely, no matter which acupoint is used to draw qi into the body, it can always be guided to Huangting. It is for this reason that the yin and yang qi can meet here.
All schools and sects have unanimously placed the golden elixir here, so this place is also called Dantian. As for the nicknames and euphemisms for Huangting given by various schools and sects, if we count them carefully, there are probably no less than a hundred.
The reason why the great medicine is called Tiangang Disha is because Tiangang Disha is the only remaining innate yin and yang qi between heaven and earth. Yin and yang qi are the mother qi of all things. When yin and yang form a pill, they can naturally command the spiritual energy of heaven and earth.
There are two reasons why true fire is magical power.
First, mana is the essence of the spiritual energy of heaven and earth, which is introduced into the human body and then circulated in the body. It resides in the mansion and is the soldier, while the Yin-Yang Gangsha is the mother of spiritual energy and is the commander. When the golden elixir is formed, the mana of the body and the external Yin-Yang Gangsha are melted, which is the soldier worshipping the commander, and also the fusion of the mana of the body and the golden elixir. In the future, the source of mana will not only be the spiritual energy of the outside world, as long as the golden elixir is full, a steady stream of mana can be generated from the golden elixir.
That is to say: Yin and Yang transform into the Five Elements.
Secondly, it is true that Tiangang and Disha are yin and yang medicines, but at the same time, some acquired impurities and dirt are mixed in when yin and yang are formed, and they need to be refined with the power of the Five Elements. Of course, the newer and higher-grade the Gangsha, the less dirt it has, and the older and lower-grade it is, the more dirt it has.
Now, Cheng Xinzhan has the three things: the alchemy furnace, the true fire, and the elixir. He has both the true fire and the elixir, but he still lacks the alchemy furnace.
The casting furnace is called Li Ting in the inner alchemy.
The Huangting is solid, far beyond the five organs. It cannot be opened by simply drawing spirits into the body. It requires the powerful Gangsha to do so.
There are also some tricks to using Gangsha Liting. One needs to choose two acupoints on the body surface that lead directly to the natural world as portals, draw Gangsha in, and then follow the already opened acupoints and meridians to directly attack Huangting.
When Gangsha enters the body, one is the innate mother energy, and the other is the acquired flesh and blood, which are incompatible with each other. Not only is it extremely painful, but if you are not careful, the Gangsha will easily solidify and block the acupoints. This is the true Gangsha that Cheng Xinzhan experienced when his heart palace was not opened.
If you want to avoid it, you must first refine the lead and mercury that can restrain the evil spirits, and then apply the lead and mercury liquid on the acupoints and the inner walls of the meridians.
How can the acupoints through which the evil spirit enters and the acupoint paths along the way be chosen randomly? If they are too long and too complicated, the evil spirit will be damaged, resulting in the inability to plow the courtyard, and the amount of the medicine will be insufficient, and the pill cannot be formed. In addition, the yin and yang qi will be too much contaminated with the acquired blood qi of the acupoints in the human body, and when it arrives in the furnace, it will be difficult to refine.
How to choose? This is related to the two realms of life and death.
If the second realm is perfect and all the acupoints in the body are explored and opened up, then naturally two yin and yang pathways that are most suitable for the chosen evil spirit can be found. If less is opened up or it is one-sided, it may be difficult to even plow the courtyard, let alone form the elixir.
And this, in a word, is just to guide the Gangsha into the body and prepare the alchemy furnace. Cheng Xinzhan felt that he was lucky to have all the Gangsha in his body. In this world, there are so many people who can't reach the stage of Gangsha entering the body. Often, they spend their whole life looking for Gangsha that matches their own path.
"Jie Dan" are just two simple words, but they are what many fools and dreamers pursue throughout their lives.
