Chapter 187: Hogwarts without Della - The End of the Letter War

Neville, who put a skirt on a Boggart that looked like Snape in the Defense Against the Dark Arts class, was detained by Snape again. Hermione, who tried to help Neville in class, was also detained. Draco took the opportunity to sneak into Snape's office.

He observed Snape for the entire month of September, and found that he went out at 6:30 every day and returned to the dormitory just before curfew. Finally, he figured out some of Snape's behavior patterns.

Ang only comes once a week, but the day of the week is not fixed. He will stay here for one night, probably to rest. Snape will let this little owl set off on its long journey during the day the next day.

Last night, Draco was staring at the Potions Office and saw Angus on Snape's shoulder. Today's Potions class was very early, so Draco wanted to try his luck as soon as the get out of class was over.

He was lucky, as he saw Ange taking a nap on the bird stand next to the desk as soon as he got there. He then carefully explored Snape's desk and found that the professor's letter had also been written!

"Sirius Black has been spotted here. You can continue your ordinary study abroad life."

Draco read Snape's short letter and felt that Della was so pitiful. She could only know so little about Hogwarts in a week, and Snape didn't say anything more about his role as Della's boyfriend in the letter.

You know, his bandages haven’t been removed yet!

Humph, let’s not worry about the cold-blooded Professor Snape who doesn’t know what the little girl is thinking. The important thing is to exchange the letter.

But should I write more on this piece of paper with invisible ink or take another risk...

Holding the prepared quill, Draco pinched the letter in his pocket again, hesitating a little, but before he could make a decision in the limited time, his bad luck began.

"Malfoy!" Harry and Ron rushed into Snape's office, and when they saw Draco, they both gasped and whispered.

"What are you doing here!" Draco opened his eyes wide and shouted in a low voice.

"Look at the pen in his hand, he found the letter!" Ron said, turning to look at Harry, who then looked at Draco and ran to Draco.

"Don't come over here!" Draco reacted quickly and took the letter and held it up, avoiding Harry's scramble.

"I have to write a letter to Della too! Malfoy!" Harry jumped over to grab it.

"You're the one who took her away!" Draco glared at Harry and even wanted to hit him, but his bandaged hands restricted his ability. Seeing Ron coming over, he could only hide to the side again.

"That guy used truth serum on me!" Draco's accusation made Harry very angry and aggrieved. He never thought of betraying his friends, and he didn't care what the people in the newspapers thought of him. "I must tell Della this!"

"Go dream about Merlin!" Draco said, deftly slipping past Ron who was outflanking him. "Who knows what evil intentions you might have!"

"Gu?" Ang was woken up by them. He tilted his head and called out to them. The three men stared at Ang, stopped their hand movements for a second, and then continued to entangle.

Draco's bandaged hand already put him at a disadvantage, and now he was fighting one against two and had to protect the letter. He was soon forced into a corner by Ron and Harry.

"This is so unfair! You two sinister villains!" Draco's eyes turned red with anger. He put the letter paper on the bandage and took the opportunity to write a few words.

"How dare you talk to us about fairness?" Ron was still thinking about the Slytherin Quidditch team's broom. He grabbed Draco's robes and prevented him from running away.

"Let's talk after I get the letter." Harry took another step towards Draco and reached out to take the letter, but just as he was about to take the letter, the office door rang.

"What are you doing!" Snape looked at the three people making trouble in the office in shock.

"Merlin!" Ron shouted, and Harry froze. Draco looked at himself pitifully, being forced into a corner by two reckless Gryffindors. He quietly threw away his quill, then immediately pushed aside the two stunned men and ran to Snape.

"Dean!" Draco frowned and raised his bandaged hand. He pretended to be in pain, then handed the letter in his other hand to him as if to take credit. "I saw them come in and rummage through your desk, so I started fighting with them!"

"What?" Ron was stunned by Draco's actions. "You actually said we are shameless, you are the one -"

"He's just going to deny it, Dean!" Draco interrupted Ron, standing in front of Snape and pointing at the two men indignantly, accusing, "They just don't respect you, Dean!"

"..." Snape glanced at Draco and didn't believe him at all. However, he preferred to cause trouble to the two Gryffindors on the opposite side, so he looked at Harry and Ron and issued his judgment, "For trespassing and rummaging through the professor's office, Gryffindor will be deducted 50 points."

"This is not fair! Malfoy was the first one to come in!" Ron shouted the truth in front of Snape, but it was of no use. Snape still had a stern face and a mocking look on his face.

"You don't care about Della at all?" Harry took two steps towards Snape. With the light coming in from the door, his green eyes were surprisingly bright. "She's outside alone now and needs our information!"

"..." Snape stared into Harry's eyes, his face becoming even more stern. "Get out of here on your own, and don't force me to deduct 100 points from you."

Harry and Ron were so angry that they gritted their teeth. They walked out while glaring at Snape. Draco raised his head and watched them walk out with a gloating look on his face.

Snape looked at the slightly wrinkled letter in his hand, and the muscles on his face twitched twice. "Come and clean my office tonight." He instructed Draco.

"Me? Why?" Draco, who thought he had escaped, shouted subconsciously.

"Keep guarding my office. Besides," Snape's dark eyes moved towards Draco, looking down at him, "you like to stare at my office at night anyway, don't you?"

"......" Draco didn't dare to say more. He curled his lips and could only agree, "Okay, Professor."

"You'll be here for a week," Snape added, then waved his hand, shaking his robes. "Come on, Malfoy."

Draco went out with a sad face, but soon he remembered the quill filled with invisible ink that he had thrown into the office, and thought that the evening cleaning was a good opportunity for him to clean up the evidence.

Ah...If Professor Snape has guessed it, it doesn't matter whether we clean up the evidence or not...

Anyway, I wrote something to Della, hoping she can see it, understand what I mean, and write something to me...
