In fact, it is really difficult to write with Kevin himself as the protagonist, because I am not acting, so I have to follow Kevin's personality at all times.
In the book, Kevin is in a state of amnesia at the beginning, and my description is more inclined to his original self, but my writing style was really unfamiliar when I first started writing the book, so the character's personality state seems a little humorous in my description.
But after the simulated universe fully restored the memories of the Earth period midway, my description of Kevin's personality became more stable.
But even so, I still find it difficult.
In my opinion, compared to the protagonists of other fan fictions, Kevin is very different in that he hardly changes, which makes it extremely difficult for him to grow mentally.
So in many plots, Kevin can only experience and gain insights from his experiences, rather than grow. This is also the main reason why I think it is difficult to write Kevin as the protagonist.
What I chose to do was to not just describe Kevin alone, but to focus on group portraits and stories. From the perspective of the macro-plot description, this can indeed cover up some flaws.
In the past, when writing some chapters, I thought the beginning was not very good. For example, the initial journey to support the Black Tower Space Station and Yalilo-VI was like just adding a character like Kevin to the original story. From the overall perspective, it didn’t seem to change anything.
Although this was due to the lack of plot in the beginning, I think a large part of it was my own fault. My lack of writing skills caused me to just follow the original plot, and even the dialogues had to be compared with the original plot.
However, this situation has begun to change since the beginning of the Xianzhou chapter.
From the moment Dan Heng boarded the Immortal Boat ahead of time, the entire Immortal Boat chapter has become different from the original plot.
But I don’t intend to be different just for the sake of being different, or to change just for the sake of changing. I still plan to let the plot develop naturally.
For example, Dan Heng's meeting with Jing Liu, Walter's meeting with Luo Sha, Kevin's meeting with Sang Bo, and Ban Xia's secret teachings with Yao Wang are all differences after letting nature take its course.
So far, the plot of Xianzhou has come to an end, but after watching it for so long, everyone should be able to see that after the Xianzhou chapter ends, it will not go directly to Pinoconi like the original plot.
Therefore, after the end of the Xianzhou chapter, there will be two purely original chapters - "Adrianfen and the "World"" and "Burning the Tribulation Star", and these two chapters will indirectly affect the direction of the subsequent plot of Pinoconi.
