Chapter 232: Being stupid and bad is as hateful as being simply stupid

Chapter 232: Being stupid and bad is as hateful as being simply stupid

Wen Rui has great merits, and even the great Bodhisattvas of the Western religion dare not harm him.

Besides, even if Chang'er Dingguangxian killed Wen Rui on the spot, he would only send him to reincarnate.

With the immeasurable merits that Wen Rui has accumulated, he is a poor mortal with useless spiritual roots in this life. In his next life, he will be reborn with the holy body of a Heavenly Emperor and possess the spiritual roots of an emperor.

Killing him would actually help him become a god instantly.

Of course, even the gods and Buddhas have no way of knowing the secrets of the system.

If they knew that once Wen Rui's physical body died in this life, no matter how much merit he had accumulated, his soul would go straight to the hell and never be reborn.

The long-eared Dingguangxian probably wouldn't waste any time and would just slap him to death as soon as he entered the door.

Wen Rui acted indifferent to life and death and went alone into the Happy Zen Temple, but in fact he was just trying to show off.

But the more he did this, the less likely the Long-Eared Dingguang Immortal would kill him. This was the reason why he accepted the request of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva and came here to meet Mahaprajnaparamita Bodhisattva.

After listening to Chang'er Dingguangxian's narration, Wen Rui roughly guessed his original intention of saying these words to him calmly - to clear up the misunderstanding.

Since you can't kill him, then use your sincerity to tell the truth and clear up the misunderstanding.

Only in this way can the predicament be turned around.

I have to say that Chang'er Dingguangxian handled the crisis very well.

Wen Rui had indeed misunderstood Chang'er Dingguangxian over the years. He thought that he was just a villain who sold his master for fame and fortune. He hated him deeply for betraying him at the critical moment, which led to the tragic annihilation of the Jinling Immortal Sect, and that was why he frequently targeted him.

Now after hearing this explanation, I can understand why he stole the flag and defected.

But Wen Rui did not intend to forgive him.

There's nothing we can do about it. Human beings are just so narrow-minded.

"Uncle Master, you did have your reasons for betraying the sect, but have you ever thought that the leader might not be holding the banner to curse the Four Saints to death immediately?"

Wen Rui reminded, "Is there a possibility that he just wants to use the Six Soul Banner to intimidate the Four Saints and prove that he has the last resort of dying together. In this way, he wants to force the Four Saints to withdraw their troops, release the captured disciples, return the stolen treasures, and then sit down to negotiate and divide the places on the Conferred God List in a relatively fair manner?"

"You were so smart that you interfered. You disrupted the master's plan and caused great harm to the Jiejiao Immortals. What grievances do you have?"

"Stupid and evil, down to the level of simply stupid. I can't even muster the slightest bit of sympathy for him."

The old monk's expression was calm and composed, he could no longer hold back, blinked his eyes, and murmured, "I never thought of this possibility..."

The two of them stared at each other for a while before the old monk said in annoyance, "Could it be that I really did something wrong back then?"

"Master uncle, from what you said about the Conferred Gods, you stole the banner with the common good in mind, not for your own selfish desires."

Wen Rui said: "According to Western teachings, this kind of mind is a manifestation of good roots. To develop a bodhi mind in order to save the world and to risk disobeying the saints is also considered great compassion and courage."

“Although he has not put down his butcher knife and become a Buddha right away, he has the qualifications to be accepted as a disciple and attain Bodhi.”

"This explains my doubts. If you have a corrupt character, you can only be a guardian deity or a vidyadhara at best, but you will never have the chance to become a Buddha."

At this point, Wen Rui changed the subject, his tone more questioning: "But what about the Happy Zen Sect you started later?"

"Western religions advocate abstinence, especially the Xianzong."

The old monk did not hide anything and answered frankly: "Since I joined the Western Religion, I have been thinking and planning for my religion. During my meditation, I realized a big contradiction." "If all sentient beings in the three realms are Buddhists in the future, and all of them abstain from sex, humanity will not flourish, yin and yang will be cut off, the Xuanmu Gate will no longer exist, the great road of reincarnation will be cut off, and all living beings will escape into the void."

“Isn’t this world unsustainable?”

"I taught the Great Sun Tathagata a stanza: 'Bodhicitta is the cause, great compassion is the root, and expedient means is the ultimate.'"

"Form and emptiness are originally one. By using the method of 'emptiness and bliss' to realize emptiness, and to control desire with desire, all living beings and Buddhists are not restricted by the precepts of abstinence, and can reproduce and thrive, so that the soul of the valley is immortal, and the roots of heaven and earth are everlasting, and they are never exhausted."

"This is the righteous way!"

Wen Rui immediately put on an "old man on the subway.JPG" expression.

This guy's twisted logic makes a lot of sense.

For a moment, I couldn't find the right words to refute him.

"Uncle Master, is there a possibility that all living things can reproduce without the physical fusion of yin and yang?"

But who is Wen Rui? He is the best at finding blind spots: "When Nuwa created humans, she just kneaded the mud and blew some fairy air."

The old monk shook his head and said, "That is the method of a saint, the immeasurable supernatural power of shaping a person out of clay. To create just one person, I don't know how much of the essence of heaven and earth would be consumed. How could it sustain the reproduction of billions of living beings?"

Wen Rui smiled and said, "I have mastered a mortal method that does not consume a single bit of the true essence of heaven and earth. It can replace the way of yin and yang in large quantities and reproduce spirits. Have you heard of cloning, test-tube babies, artificial culture dishes, and asexual reproduction?"

The old monk may not understand modern medical technology, but as a bodhisattva, it is easy for him to tell whether Wen Rui is lying or not.

Even though Chang'er Dingguangxian didn't understand the strange words that Wen Rui said, he immediately knew that what he said was true.

It is indeed possible to ensure the reproduction of life without the "abstinence through desire" practice of Joyful Zen.

"You...how do you know this strange method that completely subverts the way of yin and yang?"

"That's what Master Tongtian said when he gave a sermon at the Biyou Palace."

Wen Rui looked at him like a top student looking down on a poor student: "You didn't listen carefully in class, did you? The way of heaven already contains such a method of asexual reproduction. Apply the method of intercepting the way of heaven taught by the master. You only need to spend time to comprehend the way of heaven, act according to the law, and constantly experiment, observe, record, and improve, then you can develop this method."

He put on an angry face again: "No wonder you have no faith in the master, and you were deceived by the Chan Sect and the Western Sect and betrayed my sect. You didn't learn the essence of my Jie Sect. You just thought that the monks from outside could chant scriptures. You abandoned the supreme magic of Jie Sect and learned the true scriptures of the Western Sect. Instead, you lost sight of the essence and went further and further down the wrong path."

"Even if the Western teachings are good in every way, you yourself have discovered the great contradictions, and in the end, they all end up being nothing!"

"I, Jiejiao, intercept the Heavenly Dao and use it for my own benefit. I continue to delve into it and only when I reach the ultimate understanding can I control the Heavenly Dao and even surpass it."

After hearing Wen Rui's words, the old monk could not keep his original intention, and his expression kept changing, so much so that the Dharmadhatu Mandala began to shake due to his inner fluctuations and appeared to be broken.

The path of joyful Zen is the foundation for the enlightenment of Chang'er Dingguang Immortal.

He never thought that he was wrong, even if some living beings are suffering because of him now. But the heaven and earth are like a furnace, and all living beings are suffering. Who would not suffer?

The word "convenience" in "convenience is the ultimate" in the Mahavairocana Sutra means to use skillful means to suit the situation so that all sentient beings can obtain real benefits.

The means may be a little flawed, but the ultimate goal is to ensure the reproduction and continuation of billions of living beings.

Wen Rui now came to tell him that the method he created was outdated, and having a child did not require parents to expend physical energy or pleasure...

All this hard practice is just a waste of time and actually creates endless bad karma.

How does he cope with this?
