Chapter 236: The Second Type of Riddle

Sadolin was still a little confused when she was led into the conference room by several people. She was guided to sit on a long sofa. Opposite her sat a black-haired young man whom she did not know, who was looking at her with a smile.

"In a month and a half, I don't even recognize you anymore, Sadolin." Maggie stared at Sadolin's eyes, which had lost their ignorance, and spoke in a gentle voice.

"You? Do I know you?" Sadolin sat on the sofa with a dignified posture. She did not show any shyness towards the gazes from all around.

"Maybe it's too far away," Maggie stood up, walked to Sadolin, and stretched out a hand in front of her, "Move your nose, Sadolin."

Looking at the hand in front of her, Sadolin frowned, subconsciously rejecting the behavior of treating her as a snake, but the familiar breath that followed made her eyes widen, and the slight unhappiness was immediately thrown away, "Maggie!"

Sadolin shouted in surprise. She thought Maggie had broken free from some shackles just like him, and she was happy for him. "You too? That's great, Maggie. We can do so many things after becoming human! This world is so beautiful!"

"..." Maggie smiled, laughing at such an ignorant, fearless, naive and simple Sadolin. He turned around and sat back in his original seat under the gaze of everyone. "It's okay to do more things, but before you do anything, you must be clear about what you can do."

"What, what?" Sadolin didn't react. She looked at the unchanged gentle smile on Maggie's face and felt inexplicably nervous. At the same time, she heard the heartbeat that made her awe again.

Boom-boom-boom

"Didn't we tell you?" Maggie put away her smile and replaced it with a nonchalant and lazy look, "That's someone who will cause trouble."

Dmitri -

Thinking of the black-haired young man who always patiently taught her, Sadolin subconsciously wanted to argue for him, "He is such a good person, why would he cause trouble?"

"You did a lot of things wrong, Sadolin," Maggie sighed slightly, as if she was regretting, "and the first mistake was to question us."

"What? I don't understand," Sadolin shook her head, "but I think what I said is correct."

"This is a mistake over and over again," Maggie pulled out the milky white wand from Sadolin's fangs and started playing with it. "But I don't blame you, Sadolin. It's because I didn't emphasize to you the importance of us - Riddle."

"You, Della, and Apep are all very important to me." Sadolin raised her eyes, making them look bigger, while revealing some of her past innocence.

"..." Maggie looked at Sadolin with a serious expression, and the corners of his lips curled up slightly, unable to tell whether it was ridicule or helplessness. He swung the wand in his right hand back and forth twice, but in the end he did not aim at Sadolin. Instead, he used a spell to cut the palm of his left hand amid the exclamations of others in the conference room.

Scarlet dripped and the smell of blood spread. Sadolin stood up anxiously. She walked quickly towards Maggie, saying as she walked, "Why do you want to hurt yourself?"

"Why are you so slow, Sadolin?" Maggie sighed again, "You should have discovered it a long time ago. It's such an important thing."

"What--" Sadolin, who was about to walk to Maggie, suddenly lost her strength. She fell heavily on the thick carpet on the ground. She felt dizzy and had a strange feeling of loss in all parts of her body.

"Sadolin——"

"No, we shouldn't go forward, Miss Abate."

From a distance, Sadolin heard a female voice calling her name in surprise and anxiety. It should be Professor Abate. The male voice that followed to stop her sounded very young, and seemed to be Trevor Ewing.

Why shouldn't you step forward?

Sadolin, who had lost control of her body, was surprised by these words and also blamed Trevor's attitude. Trevor was the person who communicated with her most often before, and she thought they had a good relationship.

Da-da-da

The sticky liquid dripped down, and Sadolin's pupils, which had already begun to dilate, moved downward. Looking at Maggie's blood dripping from her nose, she opened her mouth slightly, but did not even have the strength to utter a word. As her heart became more and more panicked, she suddenly understood the importance of Riddle that Maggie mentioned.

Tom Riddle, Della Riddle, they are all descendants of Slytherin. For her, the basilisk created by Salazar Slytherin, every encounter with Slytherin is a new beginning.

Her growth and sanity will be reset.

And there is the scent of Slytherin in Maggie's blood, so Maggie is the newest Slytherin she has met.

But the new beginning for the basilisk also means the end for Sadolin.

Sadolin didn't want to lose her mind again. Her consciousness was no longer the insignificant existence it had been in the past.

"Don't..." Sadolin opened her mouth and uttered a syllable with difficulty. She tried her best to raise her slightly dilated pupils and begged Maggie with a ferocious face, "Don't-"

"Now you know?" Maggie sat there, not moved at all by Sadolin's actions and words. He even laughed, admiring Sadolin's fearful look with interest. "Della thought the reset spell on you was troublesome before, but I thought it was very interesting, so I let her keep it."

"It's not that I want you to grow up again and again, Sadolin," Maggie explained in a gentle tone, but in such a condescending scene, his gentleness only made people feel terrified, "I really just think it's interesting, and I won't have nothing better to do than to erase your old will."

Maggie emphasized the pronunciation of some words. He squatted down and stroked the cheek of Sadolin, who was lying on the ground, with his left hand, whose wound had healed. "But, I also have different preferences for some wills."

"Take the color for example," Maggie said, tapping some blood on Sadolin's face and gently and carefully smearing it on her lips, making the lips that had turned white due to exhaustion infinitely rosy again, "I have the kind of gorgeousness I like."

"And ah..." Maggie stretched out his tone, looking into Sadolin's eyes that were once again filled with cowardice, and his smile deepened, "I always make sure that my things are the color she should have, in various ways to ensure it."

"Do you understand, Sadolin?" He said this, not caring about Sadolin's attitude. He immediately looked up and looked around at the servants and former Death Eaters in the room. "Similarly, I hope you can understand this matter too."

"Well, you've stayed on the ground long enough. This is not dignified, Sadolin." Maggie didn't care about the reactions of his followers, who nodded, trembled, or frowned. He finally helped Sadolin up and stopped the spell in Sadolin's soul that was driven by the power of blood. "I think you should realize your mistake. I don't intend to punish you, Sadolin, but please put an end to it, okay?"

"Okay, okay," Sadolin, who was supported by Maggie, trembled all over, with fear in her eyes. Under the threat, her neck softened again, and she subconsciously responded to Maggie's order, and then stammered, "What do you want to do?"

"Go and say goodbye properly, Sadolin," Maggie said in a low voice, "After all, we'll never see each other again, and it would be a pity if you don't say goodbye." He said this as if he was expressing his emotion, but his words were filled with inexplicable irony.

"Never-never again?!" Sadolin's throat suddenly felt sore and she couldn't help shouting, but Maggie's gentle laugh shattered all her sadness. Her throat was still sore, sore in panic.

"I understand..." Sadolin didn't dare to object anymore. She was more afraid of losing herself now than losing Dmitri.

"Very good." Maggie nodded. He helped Sadolin sit down with him, then patted his thigh. Sadolin understood almost immediately. She bit her lip, leaned her head on Maggie's legs in humiliation, and curled up like a pet.

With a smile on his face, Maggie slowly stroked Sadolin's smooth hair, feeling a sense of satisfaction that the plan had been correctly executed.

Sadolin is an insignificant existence, and Sadolin's emotions are even more insignificant.

But since it can bring him pleasure, why should he let go of something dispensable?

Maggie considers himself a greedy person, and now he has the capital to be greedy for everything, so he has no intention of being polite at all.

Ah, it's really exciting.

Maggie couldn't wait to find Voldemort, to return to Country Y, and to return to Hogwarts. His plan had already taken shape, and so much fear was enough to make him happy.
