Chapter 246 Maze and Vortex

The third event of the Triwizard Tournament is about to begin.

Hagrid, Moody, McGonagall, Flitwick, and the four professors entered the venue. After inspection, there were no ambushing people or crazy animals. Even the Goblet of Fire was checked before they let the warrior in.

"Where's John?"

Daphne didn't look at John, she looked behind Heinrich.

"He has something to leave." Heinrich stared at the maze under the stands and said, "He kept us vigilant."

Knowing that John would not be aimless, Daphne asked, "John thinks something will happen?"

"maybe."

Heinrich was noncommittal, their location was close to the entrance.

Called by Ludo Bagman, four warriors entered the stadium.

All the professors had red stars on their caps, except Hagrid's on the back of his terry vest.

Professor McGonagall said to the four warriors: "We will patrol outside the maze. If we encounter difficulties and want to be rescued, we will send red sparks into the sky. Someone will come to help you. Do you understand?"

Having experienced the mermaid incident, the third project has improved the protection of the personal safety of the warriors.

The warriors nodded, indicating that they understood.

"Good luck, Harry," Hagrid whispered to Harry.

It's just that he felt that his voice was too small to keep the few warriors close.

Fu Rong rolled her eyes, touched Cedric with her elbow, and said in a dissatisfied voice, "Whether you are a Hogwarts student or not, no one seems to talk to you."

During her time at Hogwarts, she kind of understood why Slytherin always said that the professors were partial.

Everyone is a warrior, and it turns out that Cedric is like a stepmother.

Cedric could only smile wryly, and gave Fleur a look to tell her not to speak.

Hagrid blushed at the words, mainly because he didn't know Cedric well. After he realized it, he greeted Cedric dryly.

Harry also heard Fleur's words, although they were not aimed at himself, they made people feel a little uncomfortable.

Hagrid hurried away, and Moody came up to Harry and said gruffly, "You did it, Harry."

Immediately, he lowered his head and approached Harry, and said in a low voice, "You are in very good condition. It seems that you have studied hard."

Saying this, Moody blinked his good eyes at him.

Harry nodded seriously at him and said, "Professor Moody, thank you for your encouragement."

Moody patted Harry on the shoulder in a good mood, then moved his hand to Harry's head, paused slightly, and finally patted his head.

That feeling made Harry very uncomfortable.

Professor McGonagall came over and said with a serious face: "Professor Moody, we are going over."

"Well, see you later, Harry."

Professor Moody waved at Harry, and Fleur rolled her eyes again.

Ludo cast a loud spell on himself, "Ladies and gentlemen, the final match of the Triwizard Tournament is about to begin!"

He began to announce the scores of various schools, among which the Hogwarts Warriors ranked first or second, which drew applause.

It's just that Karkaroff and Ms. Maxim's expressions are not very good, and the applause is also perfunctory.

Amidst the applause, Heinrich took Moody's action into his eyes just now, and a strange color flashed in his eyes, and he said to Daphne in a deep voice: "Be careful here."

Daphne was a little taken aback, looked at the back of Heinrich leaving, and asked, "Where are you going?"

"I'm going to confirm one thing." Heinrich left a sentence and left towards the outside of the stadium.

Daphne looked around, Malfoy and Neville came from behind, both panting.

"Now, Cedric, listen to my whistle!"

Ludo Bagman counted down, and when the whistle sounded, Cedric was the first to go in.

After a while, Harry went in second.

After a while, it was Fleur and Krum's turn to go in.

Cedric, who was the first to enter, has encountered obstacles and is a snail.

The scorpion-like tail almost set Cedric's trouser legs on fire.

Using the Shattering Charm, Cedric took out the snails.

The hedge wall blocked the way, and Cedric had to turn around and go in another direction.

Hagrid didn't know how many magical animals were put in, and Harry encountered a Boggart after entering.

He thought it was a dementor at first, and cast the Patronus Charm, but saw the dementor took two steps back and tripped over his robe.

Realizing that this wasn't the deity, Harry immediately used 'funny funny' to drive the Boggart away.

He encountered the same thing as Cedric, and he was a little dizzy.

Suddenly, an exclamation came.

It is Hibiscus.

Then there was a shake of the hedge, and a man ran out from behind the hedge, it was Cedric.

The two looked at each other for a second, and Harry knew what Cedric meant, and ran in one direction.

"That's where the voice comes from!"

Cedric did not suspect him, and the two of them rushed into a golden mist.

The world suddenly turned upside down, caught off guard, the two exclaimed.

"We must go there quickly." Cedric said, and stepped forward, and the world returned to normal.

Harry also walked out, and when they came to an intersection, the two saw a flash of red light.

Immediately afterwards, Krum flew out from the upside down.

"What happened?" Cedric asked with a frown when he saw Fleur.

Fleur stared at Krum and said, "He sneaked up on me just now, but luckily I was prepared."

As she said that, Fleur stepped forward a little angrily to teach Krum a lesson.

Harry was keenly aware that something was wrong, he hurriedly said: "Look at Krum!"

Hearing the sound, the two turned their heads and saw Krum standing up unsteadily.

"He obviously fell under my sleeping spell." Fu Rong was surprised.

Krum swung his wand violently, the Disarming Charm hit Fleur, and Fleur's wand flew away.

Cedric and Harry shot at the same time, and the disarming spell and sleeping spell knocked people out.

"Furong, are you okay?"

Noticing Fleur's state at this time, Cedric asked.

Clutching her injured ankle, Fu Rong said angrily, "I can't participate in the competition, so I have to retire early."

In fact, she could use the healing spell, but after accepting the help of the two, Fu Rong felt that there was no need for her to continue participating.

Knowing that Fleur is human, Cedric retrieves her wand and gives it to Fleur.

"What happened to Krum?" Harry couldn't understand.

"Perhaps Karkaroff asked him to do this." Fleur released red sparks and said to the two, "Don't bother me, I will take Krum seriously."

If she hadn't been careless, Krum would not have successfully disarmed.

Cedric and Harry looked at each other, and both of them saw the desire to win in their eyes.

Nodding their heads, the two tacitly chose a way to leave.

. . .

The professors are always ready to guide you outside the maze.

Moody, sticking to his crutches, stared intently at the flying red sparks.

The whole person obviously has a rough face, but it gives people a sense of elegance and wealth.

"You're not Moody."

Moody looked back without any surprise, and said with a smile: "It seems that you have discovered it, but you should have discovered it a long time ago."

Leaning on the crutches like this, Moody was not embarrassed to be pointed at by the wand, as if his own was the one who controlled the overall situation.

Heinrich was short of breath, his golden eyes widened, and he said sharply, "Who the hell are you!"

He went to Moody's office just now.

At this moment, Moody's office is empty.

He slipped in and opened the box.

There is a cabinet inside.

Heinrich is too familiar with this cabinet.

It has Edgar's family crest on it, and it is a disappearing cabinet.

Teleportation between cabinets is possible.

At that moment, he thought of many things.

Stepping out of the shadows step by step, Heinrich had vigilance in his eyes, and his wand was always pointed at the indifferent Moody.

"Why is Edgar's cabinet in your place?"

He has to figure out one thing.

Moody sighed, and said, "What an unpleasant kid, ever since I was a child."

Then, Moody changed the subject, tapped the wooden leg with his crutches, and said, "Did you know that Hogwarts uses anti-apparition, but there is a way to get rid of this situation."

"All petrified! (petrificustotalus)"

Without too much nonsense with Moody, Heinrich made a decisive move.

Moody smiled and stamped his feet.

The wooden leg tugged at him quickly, dragging him into a vortex.

The spell failed, and Heinrich's complexion changed.

"Portkey!"

. . .

Harry answered the Sphinx's riddle and finally came to the Goblet of Fire.

Just when he was suppressing his excited smile, Cedric appeared on the other road.

The two of them didn't need to say much, and rushed towards the Goblet of Fire with the fastest speed at the same time.

Finally, they touched the Goblet of Fire almost at the same time.

The two stared at each other with big eyes and small eyes, what should I do now?

When he was at a loss, the table where the Goblet of Fire was placed suddenly exploded.

The two of them couldn't dodge in time, they were sucked into the vortex like a toilet.

One second before Cedric entered the vortex, he tapped the star emblem hard.

The faces of everyone in the Star Club changed. Daphne stood up immediately when she was watching Furong being brought out by Professor McGonagall.

"problem occurs."

. . .

Harry hit the ground with his legs and almost fell.

The two still held the Goblet of Fire in their hands, and they both saw confusion in each other's eyes.

It appears to be a cemetery here.

Cedric said in a deep voice: "That table is a kind of portkey, and it's a one-off."

Harry asked a little confused, "Then what should we do?"

Cedric was about to say something when Harry suddenly said, "Someone is here."

Pulling out his wand, Cedric silently tapped the stars badge and muttered something.

A slender and tall figure came out holding something.

In the distance, a sinister sound as viscous as venom came.

"Kill whoever gets in the way."

A bright green light pierced Harry's eyelids.

"Avada Kedavra!"

Harry froze for a second.

In the next instant, he saw Cedric penetrated by green light.

Two voices sounded almost simultaneously from two directions.

"All petrified! (petrificustotalus)"

"Stupefy! (stupefy)"

. . .
