Chapter 259 Della's Response

Before the news of the mob's riot came, the two Riddles were in the tent's study with Trevor Ewing, Dag Rochell, and Igor Karkaroff, listening to Leah's story about Fudge testing her about some kind of competition.

"The Triwizard Tournament!" Karkaroff quickly spoke out the news that most people present knew. "Old Fudge is testing your attitude!"

Whether to participate or not is one attitude; participating in the name of a school is another attitude.

Della didn't express her opinion immediately. She looked at Maggie who was fiddling with the mask in her hand and asked, "Do you have any ideas?"

"Hogwarts has you, and Beauxbatons has tentatively chosen Annika." Maggie knew that the Ministry of Magic had not yet announced the 17-year-old limit, but she was not bothered by it at all, because in most cases, advanced magic could deceive the props. "If Durmstrang puts me out, then wouldn't this competition become a simple party? There would be no competition at all. I think it would be very boring."

"If you want to have some fun at this event, Anne would be happy to admire your heroic figure from the side." Dag found the right opportunity and said carefully.

Annika was too young, and Dag was actually worried, but the letter she had sent before did not give him the opportunity to refuse.

"And let my sister be the only one under 17 to compete?" Maggie glanced at Dag and said in an unsettled tone.

"When have I not been the target of public criticism?" Della snorted coldly, giving Dag a way out. "It's okay. It takes enough courage to stand beside me. Annie can focus on other things this time."

"Thank you, Miss Riddle." Dag looked at Maggie's face and immediately agreed to Della's words to let his daughter go.

Maggie shrugged, her handsome face full of indifference. After all, who would care about the life or death of an ant? There would be plenty of opportunities to pinch it anyway.

"Then, a few people in the box came over to say hello to me." Leah had been paying attention to the atmosphere in the study. She found the right opportunity to continue speaking, looking at Della as she spoke, "They were mainly looking for your whereabouts—"

dong dong dong-

There was a hurried knock on the door, and Annika pushed the door open panting. Several people looked at her face which was flushed from running.

"There's chaos outside!" Annika shouted first, and then quickly described the situation, "A group of people wearing Death Eater hoods and masks have captured a Muggle family and tortured them in public, and are now casting curses everywhere!"

Della's already cold face suddenly sank, while Maggie covered her mouth and laughed softly. He said to Leah next to him, "Look, now you are loyal."

"Yes, sometimes I really admire my father for being able to control such a group of good subordinates." Della's tone rose, which was obviously different from her usual tone. "A group of good subordinates who are giving the Ministry of Magic reasons to expel me from Hogwarts."

She said it in a sarcastic tone, and her tone and expression clearly expressed one meaning - a bunch of idiots!

Della glanced at the hesitant and thoughtful faces of everyone present, and she was quickly weighing the pros and cons in her mind.

If she didn't care, given the subjective guilt-consciousness of most people in the Ministry of Magic, the blame would definitely be put on her.

But if she did, whether she herself or sent someone around to confront those idiots, it would create a hostile appearance.

That group of idiots was fine, no one cared what they thought, but Voldemort might think that his daughter had too much control and rebelliousness.

No one in power likes to seize the heir to power and develop influence too early.

So, even if that group of idiots caused trouble, Della couldn't let any of them get caught by the Ministry of Magic while she was in charge of the matter.

"Ms. Riddle, I can send students from Durmstrang to..."

"My father will come back," Dela interrupted Karkaroff, "and now is the time for you to go against his good men."

"But it would be a waste of our talents if we, my brother and I, enter directly," Maggie's eyes moved between Trevor and Leah, two new Death Eaters, and finally landed on Leah, who looked eager to try. "Leah -"

"Yeah!" Leah responded excitedly when she was called. She had long wanted to fight real wizards with all her equipment.

Della looked in the direction of Leah's voice, her frown slowly relaxed, and she stood up, "Okay, let's go."

"You too?" Leah stood up, but didn't quite understand. "What are you going to do?"

"We're asking you to work, not to die," Della smiled. "Wizards aren't that useless. I'll sit on the back of your motorcycle and block any attacks for you."

"But I have these." Leah waved around the accessories with different functions on her body. With the motorcycle, as long as the magic did not automatically lock the enemy, she was actually quite confident in her speed.

"That's a lot of people," Della said, "and I can do some other things."

"It sounds like it can do no harm to me." Leah tilted her neck and raised her head, with the right corner of her lip curled up. She put her arm around Della's shoulders and walked out under Annika's envious eyes.

Then, just like in the morning, she put on her helmet and got on the motorcycle. In addition to the obstacle marks, there were red dots representing the masked thugs in front of her. Della also sat behind her and hugged her tightly, but her figure was covered by the Disillusionment Charm, which also created the illusion that Leah's clothes were unrestrained and swaying in the wind.

In this year when Della's magic has been able to develop freely, it has reached an astonishing height.

"The main task is to rescue the Muggles. We occupy the moral high ground and do not directly oppose the Death Eaters." Amid the sound of the wind and screams, Della used magic to transmit her voice to Leah's ears. "It's okay to hurt those thugs in any way you want, but you can't make them lose their ability to move. If there are other forces around, you can make exaggerated moves to accidentally hurt them, but you can't let them capture the thugs alive."

"Do they have a golden ticket to immunity from death?" Leah started the car and complained, "Can I make them suffer a little more?"

"Of course," Della agreed immediately, "They were already certified as idiots by me a year ago."

"Okay, then find a chance to conjure up a baseball bat in my hand, and let me teach them a lesson with Leah Abend's truth." Leah had prepared everything. Under her helmet, she stared at the group of Death Eaters within her sight with an overly cheerful smile, and her brown eyes revealed a bit of cruelty and bloodthirstiness.

But just as she was about to step on the accelerator to steal the show, a group of people shouted and broke up the Death Eaters' irregular multi-faceted formation that was scattered with spells.

"F*ck!" Leah cursed, and stepped on the accelerator even harder, rushing forward while muttering, "The magic civil servants from Country Y are pretty fast!"

"They are not from the Ministry of Magic of Country Y," Della added a striking silver tail around Leah's motorcycle as it sped through the air to make her look more imposing. She carefully observed the team of wizards that obviously had many children in it, and then saw the familiar figure of Dmitri Isaev in it. "They are probably from the E-Russian Wizard and Hemp Solidarity Union."

"What the hell?" Leah said subconsciously, "Magic S-linked people?"

"Hmm..." Della didn't know how to answer this question for a moment. She looked at the group of Eros wizards with strong martial spirit who were getting closer and closer, and felt a little surprised that Isaev would spend extra money to bring so many people to watch the entertainment events.

Della had a hunch that Ross had made some moves that she was unaware of.
