Chapter 284 Farewell Chopper

Vic didn't say anything else. He said hello to Dr. Yuejian and walked out. However, Wendy grasped the key point in Kuleha's words. This was the second time she heard that incident. The things that were repeatedly emphasized were definitely not simple.

Wendy guessed that Vic agreed to a very important thing in order to get Kuleha to save her. She felt a little out of control and quickly took her hand out of the quilt to cover her mouth, trying hard to suppress her emotions!

She was afraid that if she went any slower she would burst into tears. She was afraid that Vic, who had just walked out of the tree house, would hear her. Although she tried hard to suppress her tears, she couldn't stop them from flowing out of her eyes.

Kuleha had told her before that she almost died. If Vic hadn't sent her here in time, she would have been a cold corpse now!

The death cycle of the Black Death was only a few days, and she was delayed on the warship for almost two days. Add to that the time spent sailing at sea, and most people would have died on the way.

When she was conscious, she knew that it was Vic who was pulling the boat forward. Or was it that she didn't know the specific things that happened during the voyage at sea, and how could she be carrying a patient in such a natural disaster?

Few people were able to bring her out intact. It can be said that her life was snatched back from the hands of death by Vic. If she knew these things, she might not be able to control herself and would have a complete emotional breakdown.

"Cherish it, girl! It's hard to meet a partner like this, and you may only meet him once in your life!"

Kuleha glanced at Wendy who was somewhat out of control on the bed, raised her head and took a sip of wine, then spoke with some sigh as if she remembered something.

Dr. Yue Jian knew more, and his mood was more complicated. He did not tell Wendy what happened inside to upset her. Wendy was already feeling very uncomfortable, and Vic, the person involved, would not tell her anything unless she had given him details.

It was still night time, and Vic had no choice but to go find Dalton right away. No matter how urgent it was, he couldn't wait all night.

He would only practice outside for one night, and then go straight to find Dalton at dawn. Drum Island is so small that he could tell where Dalton is with just a glance using his Observation Haki. Vic needed a cold environment to train his will.

Early in the morning, Chopper opened his eyes drowsily and saw a figure beside him. He was so scared that his short legs swung like wheels, but there was no place to hide his body in the tree hole. He was a little tired after running back and forth for a long time, but the figure did not move at all.

Seeing that the figure did not harm him, Chopper finally calmed down. He stopped and slowly turned to look at the figure.

It was the back of a shirtless black-haired man. Chopper felt that the figure was very familiar. The only human he was familiar with was Vic.

Chopper slowly walked towards the front of the sitting figure. He felt relieved when he saw the familiar face. However, he almost didn't recognize this naked man as Wick. It can be seen that Chopper has had face blindness since he was a child.

"Blue nose! Did it scare you?"

Seeing that Chopper stopped moving, Vic opened his eyes and asked with a smile.

He returned to the tree hole again last night, but Chopper had already fallen asleep at that time. Vic did not disturb him and sat cross-legged in the tree hole to practice.

He didn't know how long he would be away. He was afraid that if he disappeared for a few days, Chopper would go out to look for him, and it would be bad if he was in danger at that time.

So Vic came here just to say hello to Chopper. Young Chopper was very dependent on Vic. If he disappeared without saying a word, Chopper would definitely cry his heart out. He was the type that couldn't be coaxed unless Vic showed up.

"Vic! When did you get here? Why didn't you wake me up!"

Chopper was very happy to see Vic and immediately jumped into Vic's arms. Chopper was a little reindeer who was born not long ago and lacked the love of his family. He couldn't help himself when he saw Vic by his side. He felt so happy that he was willing to sleep less. But he didn't know that Vic was here to leave for a while.

"Haha, I came here to tell you that I have some things to do these few days.

I will leave some books for you to study on your own. I will check them when I come back. Don't be lazy when I'm not here!"

Vic didn't want Chopper to focus all his attention on the fact that he was going to be away for a few days, so he used studying and examinations to divert young Chopper's attention. Sure enough, when Chopper heard that Vic was going to have a check-up, he didn't feel sad, and his attention was obviously diverted.

"Then Vic, how long will you be away?" Chopper asked, propping up his little head in Vic's arms and looking at Vic's face.

There was a little nervousness on his face. He was afraid that Vic would be away for too long. Vic was the first creature who was kind to him, and he wanted to live with Vic forever.

"It will take at least two days, or at most four or five days, Blue Nose, you must study hard so that you can better integrate into this world! Come on!"

Vic reached out and rubbed the hair on Chopper's head gently. Only by focusing all his attention on studying could he better dilute the emotion of parting.

"Well! I will study hard, and you can come back to check on me!" Chopper had tears in his eyes. Although his attention was diverted a lot, he was still very reluctant to leave, but the emotion of parting was diluted by Vic.

"Okay, Bluenose! I'm leaving now. Take good care of yourself and study hard. I'll come see you when I come back."

Vic smiled and pushed Chopper away, then stood up and waved his hand, and food and books appeared in the tree hole. There were a lot of books, but only enough food for a week. After putting the things down, Vic did not stay and left the tree hole directly with the Moon Step.

Chopper stared blankly at Vic's increasingly smaller figure, his eyes had turned into lace-shaped, tears streaming down his cheeks, his heart feeling empty. It was so hard to finally have such a support and comfort, but he felt that he could lose it at any time. He couldn't stop the sadness, and couldn't help crying.

Vic said goodbye to Chopper and rushed to the place where he had landed before. His observation Haki sensed that Dalton was wandering there. Vic guessed that Dalton was looking for him, but he didn't know what it was. Vic sped up and soon arrived above Dalton.

Dalton was indeed looking for Vic at this moment, and he had been searching for more than one day. He reported the incident to the king on the same day, and the king immediately ordered Dalton to find Vic.

Vic saved Dalton and so many top doctors and was a hero of the country, and the king wanted to thank Vic in person.

So Dalton came here the next day to wait for Vic, and asked people to guard here at night. He was afraid that Vic would leave the country silently because of the death of his companion.

So many doctors were helpless. He didn't think Wendy could survive. He was also afraid that Vic would be in a bad mood because of the death of his companion and would not accept his invitation. To be honest, Dalton was extremely conflicted and was staring blankly at the river ahead.

Suddenly, several familiar sonic booms sounded overhead, followed by a light landing sound heard nearby.

Looking back, Dalton felt like he was dreaming. He was just wondering if Vic was still on the island when he saw him. Vic was looking at him with a smile on his face. How could he smile after his companion died? Was he seriously ill? He had to suspect that he was hallucinating. Dalton raised his hand and rubbed his eyes hard, but Vic did not disappear.

"Waiting for me?" Vic asked with a smile. Wendy's life was no longer in danger, and he felt much better. He could even smile when he saw Dalton.

"Ah? Well, yes, I've been waiting for you to show up!" Dalton was finally sure that he saw a real person. He was a little surprised. This was his savior, powerful and mysterious.

"Dalton! Don't be so polite, just call me Vic. What do you want from me?"

Vic smiled and patted Dalton's broad shoulders. He was carrying a pipa-like saw on his back. It was not known whether the original one was repaired or remade. Vic couldn't help but sigh, he really liked this shape!
