Chapter 335: Several unexpected people thank you

The next morning.

Amanta sat at the Slytherin table, flipping through today's Daily Prophet, listening to Draco's picky comments on the food and nodding in agreement from time to time.

Harry, on the other hand, buried his head in his food, his mouth full of bacon and toast, while chatting with Cedric across from him using gestures.

There was a sound of footsteps behind them, as if someone was running towards them in a hurry.

"Miss Merlin! Mr. Malfoy! Mr. Potter!"

Amanta looked up and saw several junior wizards standing in front of them with excited and nervous expressions on their faces.

Two familiar faces instantly brought back memories of the chaos that was the night of the Quidditch World Cup.

It was them - the younger students who had rescued the Death Eaters that night.

The leader was a short boy with freckles on his face. His golden brown hair looked a little messy, but his eyes were shining and his expression was excited.

His younger brother followed closely beside him, looking somewhat similar to him, but younger and with a more reserved look.

“Uh…” The boy seemed to muster up a lot of courage before he dared to speak, “We, we just wanted to come and say thank you.”

"Thank you?" Harry swallowed the last bite of toast, blinked, and looked at them.

"Yes!" The boy nodded hastily, speaking quickly, "It was... the day of the Quidditch World Cup! If it weren't for you, we might have -"

Halfway through his speech, he seemed to think it was too shocking and quickly changed his words.

"Anyway, thank you so much! So we wanted to give you a little gift."

As he spoke, he took out a few things from his pocket and handed them to the three people.

Amanta looked down and saw that it was a small handmade pendant. Although it was a bit rough, it was obvious that it was made with care and there was a protective rune engraved on it.

What Harry took was a small Quidditch model with the Irish team's logo painted on it. It seemed to be a souvenir bought during the World Cup.

And Draco was handed a...quill pen holder with an owl carved on it.

Draco glanced at the small gift in his hand, raised an eyebrow, and said nonchalantly: "Well... although it's a bit rough, it's considered to be quite discerning."

Amanta looked sideways at him and knew that this guy was actually very happy but just refused to admit it.

Sure enough, the next second, he was gently fiddling with the quill holder with his fingers, as if admiring its craftsmanship.

"We made this ourselves! Even though it's not perfect..." the boy explained a little nervously, "But I hope you like it!"

"Of course I like it!" Harry smiled brightly and raised the Quidditch model in his hand, "This is great! Thank you!"

The little boy's face flushed and he waved his hands quickly: "No, it's nothing, Mr. Potter! You...you are my idol!"

"Idol?" Draco sneered, his tone full of ridicule, "Come on, he's just a foodie, how can he be an idol?"

"Hey!" Harry, still chewing his toast, glared at him vaguely, "I'm your savior, okay?"

"Humph, I was taking care of my mother that day and didn't have time to help." Draco raised his chin and leaned lazily on the long table. "If I had taken action, the situation would have been resolved more elegantly, not as chaotic as yours."

"Draco you—"

Seeing that the two were about to start arguing again, Amanta helplessly reached out and slapped the table to stop their childish bickering.

She turned to look at the junior students and said in a gentle tone, "Don't take it too seriously. As long as we can help, you can come to us if you run into trouble in the future."

Several junior students' eyes lit up instantly and they nodded repeatedly: "Thank you! Thank you so much!"

The boy who had just spoken hurriedly rummaged through the backpack he was carrying and pulled out something that looked like a huge box. He came closer again and said excitedly, "If possible, can I take a picture of you guys?!"

Amanta looked over when she heard the voice and took a closer look, only to find that he was holding a Muggle camera.

The thin boy held a camera, his face full of excitement and his eyes flashing with fanaticism.

She was slightly startled and vaguely felt that this person looked familiar.

Colin Creevey?

Some memories suddenly emerged in her mind - in the original plot, he was a loyal admirer of Harry, with a passionate personality, and always liked to take pictures everywhere with a camera.

This time, perhaps because Harry entered Slytherin and passively acquired some "bad reputation", Colin Creevey did not come to surround Harry fanatically before.

But what she knew most clearly was the future outcome.

He eventually died protecting the school during the Battle of Hogwarts.

And his younger brother also did not survive.

Amanta's fingers tightened slightly, but soon returned to normal. She did not show any abnormality, but just nodded gently: "Okay."

"Really?!" Colin's eyes lit up instantly.

He excitedly adjusted the camera and quickly asked Harry, Draco and Amanta to stand together.

Harry put on a bright smile, holding up a half-eaten croissant.

Draco had a stern look on his face and stood straight. Although he complained about being "childish", he was surprisingly cooperative.

Amanta just stood gracefully in the middle, with a serious look and a faint smile on her lips.

"Come, look here!" Colin pressed the shutter button excitedly.

Click.

The moment the flash went on, many students in the auditorium looked in their direction.

Their actions undoubtedly attracted a lot of attention.

Not only Gryffindor and Hufflepuff students, even Ravenclaw and Slytherin students couldn't help but look sideways and talk in low voices.

"What are they doing?"

"It looks like... someone is thanking them? Why?"

"It's about the Quidditch World Cup... I heard they saved a lot of people that day."

"Is this true? Slytherin people...will go to rescue people?"

"Have they...really changed?"

There was a lot of discussion. Some people were still skeptical, but there were also many people looking at them thoughtfully.

Over the past three years, the Slytherin trio has been a mysterious and contradictory existence——

On the one hand, their behavior and deeds are extremely suspicious and have caused a lot of trouble; on the other hand, they have indeed done a few things worthy of praise, such as the incident in this World Cup.

At this moment, under the gaze of everyone in the auditorium, they stood there, accepting thanks from several junior students.

Today's situation may make the students of Hogwarts re-examine them.

Merlin, Malfoy, Potter, what kind of people are they?
