Chapter 344 The Role of Human Relationships

Something always happens at Hogwarts every year.

The unconscious professor, the missing students, and the blood-stained robes all speak of the seriousness of this incident, which also happened at a time when Hogwarts was hosting an international event.

Therefore, don't expect any responsible large-scale search for now. The Ministry of Magic arranged for Arian Lind, who was stationed at school to deal with the media personnel, to exercise soft control over the staff of each newspaper at the first opportunity, and then invited all the responsible persons of the four major schools to the tent of the newspaper community center.

"I have sent an urgent letter to the Ministry of Magic. I estimate that a team of investigators will arrive with a reply by tomorrow noon at the latest." Ailian faced the four principals who were dragged here and their faces were not good. She was not afraid at all. "The people in the newspaper are very dissatisfied. The sooner the missing students are found, the better."

"It is not wise to use people who can help only for supervision purposes, Aryan," Dumbledore looked at the former female head with his deep blue eyes and said calmly, "It is very dangerous to stay in the Forbidden Forest for one night."

"It's too late today. It's enough for the professors and some voluntary seniors to go into the Forbidden Forest," Ellian smiled and blocked Dumbledore's words, "Please believe in the Ministry of Magic, Headmaster Dumbledore, we will find the missing students safely."

"Also, please ask the respected headmasters to discipline the students below," Aryan said to the others while Dumbledore was silent, "The final game is coming, and we don't want anything to happen at this critical juncture."

"Yeah, we don't want anything to happen," a voice suddenly interrupted from outside the door. Maggie, wearing a silver mask, pulled back the curtain and came in, "and one of the guards had a loud voice."

Della appeared shortly after, and she nodded politely to everyone, "My brother will stay here and try to negotiate with those people from the newspaper, and I will go to the Forbidden Forest to look for Cynthia."

This was an arrangement that would make the cause of Cynthia's death clear even if she had an accident. Della knew that Maggie hated Cynthia, so of course she wouldn't give him the chance to act.

"Shall we go find the reporters together, Principal Dumbledore?" Maggie, who was ostracized by Della, found new fun with a clear goal. She smiled and invited Dumbledore.

Della didn't care about the outcome of the invitation. She came here just to make sure Maggie was under other people's eyes. After nodding and saying goodbye to Aryan and the headmasters, she went to the Forbidden Forest.

There were already people in the dark and dangerous Forbidden Forest. From time to time, a faint fluorescent light flickered in the night and a few calls of "White" could be heard in her ears. However, the Forbidden Forest was too big. After Della walked a few more steps, there was only moonlight, the sound of the wind and herself.

The unconscious professor was Snape, the blood was only on his collar, and there was no sign of struggle, and the missing Cynthia White was not an ordinary student...

Della didn't just come here to help, she felt that something had happened to Cynthia, or rather, something had happened to the doll again.

She came here with a mixture of worry and curiosity. Della always wanted to know how far her previously immature work could go.

The immaturity here does not mean defects in the work, but the maturity in the degree of awe. She was not well-trained at that time and dared to put anything into her work. In the end, she got Cynthia White's work, which could even spontaneously find loopholes.

The unicorn blood was chosen on its own initiative to bypass the set trajectory. Is the problem the magical effect of the unicorn blood?

The problem lies in Cynthia's thinking and initiative that have broken through limitations.

Della still has the materials used to make the doll, but she will not reproduce such an unstable bomb.

The deeper you go into the forbidden forest, the muffled the sound of dry branches being broken becomes. Countless damp mosses cover the fallen branches. The dangerous depths of the forbidden forest do not have as frequent movement of living creatures as the outer areas, which leads to this result.

For people outdoors, this is an extremely dangerous sign. There is always a reason why an area is lacking in vitality. Regional toxic gases and creatures with an overly strong sense of territory are both dangerous possibilities.

A black dog that appeared was just a bigger dog and was obviously not suitable for such a dark and dangerous environment.

Della glanced at the outline of the black dog on the right and slowly raised her wand, but the black dog only barked at her and shook its head in a humane way, obviously signaling Della to follow.

Della thought about the possibility that the creatures in the Forbidden Forest had developed mimicry to lure prey, and weighed her chances of escaping unscathed in various situations. Finally, she shrugged and followed.

Although she became increasingly fragile psychologically, she was never one to be afraid or avoid taking risks.

Della stared at the black dog running through the woods, walking slowly and leisurely, not afraid of losing it at all, because judging from the black dog's frequent turning back, it was probably more afraid that she would not be able to keep up.

As she walked, the sound of her footsteps became crisp again. The black dog led her away from the danger deep in the forbidden forest. Della looked at the two large stones between the bushes that were shining coldly under the moonlight from afar, and had a hunch that it was a natural cave.

This was indeed the case. In front of the big rock, the black dog looked back at him for the last time, then ran into the bushes and disappeared.

Della waved her wand, causing all the low and dense bushes to move away. She then tentatively threw a few branches in, but when she saw no response, she walked in cautiously with her wand in hand.

As soon as I entered, I saw light. It was the fluorescent light from the tip of Cynthia's wand. The ground next to her was wet and stained with blood, probably from washing the wound with clear spring water.

Della looked around and found that the black dog had disappeared. She walked towards Cynthia and looked at her carefully as she sat there with her legs curled up. "Where are you hurt?"

She asked with concern. Maybe it was because the cave was too dark, but Della felt that Cynthia's nose was a little straighter.

"It's nowhere. That's not my blood. Or rather, it's no longer my blood," Cynthia said with a satisfied look. She patted the smooth stone next to her and motioned Della to sit down. "Your alchemy is very powerful, and the unicorn blood is also very powerful. Lily Evans appeared briefly in my body today. Maybe she fulfilled her wish, and she left with the blood that once helped me determine my nature."

"Lily? You mean the Lily on your face?" Della was startled. After combining Cynthia's description with Snape's, she soon came up with a guess. "Snape's blood actually created Lily Evans, and the unicorn's blood preserved you. Perhaps the unicorn's blood is purer, so you suppressed Lily Evans. Today she finally showed up, and then left immediately and cleanly."

"That makes sense," Cynthia thought about what Della said and said with sudden enlightenment, "No wonder when I first saw Snape, I felt that I had to tear his fantasy apart."

If the fulfillment of a long-cherished wish can make the repressed personality disappear, Cynthia's inclination towards Snape can be seen as both an aggressive tendency to devour and a strong instinct for self-salvation. Subconsciously, she puts herself in a position more important than anything else.

Della thought to herself, and soon ignored the thought that came out of habitual judgment. She just asked Cynthia in a gentle voice, "Do you feel uncomfortable? Can you go back to school now? Everyone is looking for you, but I can still accompany you to recuperate for a while."

"Do you remember the first time we met?" Cynthia changed the subject and looked at Della's green eyes flashing with crazy prelude, "It must not be very pleasant for you, right?"

A meaningless fake life.

Della remembered the puppet's comment about her, and it still hurt her, but by now, she could deal with it numbly.

"Isn't this a bad way to start a conversation with me about the past?" Della narrowed her eyes.

"No, this is the beginning of my conversation," Cynthia began to smile with her lips curled up. Della's heart tightened when she saw that smile that never brought good news. "You still remember that you owe me a favor for Maggie, right? Then answer my next question. It's a very simple question. Of course, you can choose not to answer it, but then you have to walk with me in the Forbidden Forest again."

Della was silent for a while, and finally nodded, "Okay."

"You are so smart, you must have dug up a lot of Maggie's past. I'm not surprised that you have dug up all of it." Cynthia's smile got bigger. She deliberately slowed down her voice as if she was trying to suppress her excitement, and spoke word by word. "Then tell me, Della, have you ever thought about why Maggie disappeared before you were five years old? Do you dare to study the history of your first meeting with Maggie until now?"

A knowing blow.

Della's eyes widened.
