"Oh, yes." Wu An nodded and said, "I don't know much about this, but it's the same idea."
As he spoke, he looked at Li Yuhua beside him.
Li Yuhua was a little nervous and looked at Wu An:
——Why do you ask this question?
Because they had talked about this on the way here: they were already used to exchanging bodies, and it didn’t matter whether their “different fate” was resolved or not.
So, why ask?
Wu An forced a smile and answered her with his eyes:
--rest assured.
Wu An has his own plans.
But there is absolutely no intention to resolve that "strange fate".
Li Yuhua felt relieved when she received a positive response from Wu An's eyes.
The old abbot knew that Wu An and Li Yuhua were whispering to each other with their eyes, so he did not disturb them. He waited until they all looked at him before he spoke with a smile.
"Have the two donors been troubled by this strange fate for a long time? During this period, have you tried many methods to resolve your strange fate?"
I don’t know why he didn’t give a direct answer, but Wu An was not in a hurry.
He may have his reasons for keeping the secret.
Wu An would answer whatever was asked.
Wu An said: "I was a little uncomfortable at first, but later on, it wasn't a problem."
"Haha." The old abbot smiled, "I am very surprised that the two donors can maintain this strange fate for such a long time."
"But, I think this is reasonable." He kept it a secret.
"The relationship between the two donors transcends the laws of the universe. In other words, once your abnormality is discovered by others, the laws of the universe will resolve your relationship."
"But now, four years have passed. The two donors' relationship is only known to them, and no one else has discovered it. This is enough to show that the two donors are actually very affectionate and in love with each other."
After he finished speaking, he picked up the teacup and looked at the two young people, a man and a woman in front of him, who were in shock.
He took his time waiting for them to digest his explanation before waiting for them to ask questions.
I have to say, the solution mentioned by the old abbot is surprisingly simple.
If Wu An understood correctly, then what the old abbot meant was that as long as the secret of him and Li Yuhua exchanging bodies was discovered by others, the so-called "different fate" of their exchanging bodies would be resolved?
Isn't this too simple?
Obviously, it was something that could have happened very easily, but Wu An and Li Yuhua made tremendous efforts to keep it a secret.
Thinking about it now, it seems a little unbelievable.
Why do they want to maintain this secret?
It seemed as if I subconsciously agreed to this policy.
Is this tacit understanding or instinct?
Wu An looked at Li Yuhua, and Li Yuhua also looked at him.
The two were speechless for a moment.
Wu An carefully considered the old abbot's words, not sure if he understood them correctly, so he simply asked the old abbot directly:
"Excuse me, Master Abbot, what you just said is that if the secret of Li Yuhua and I exchanging bodies is discovered, we will not exchange bodies anymore?"
The old abbot nodded and smiled slightly: "That's exactly what you said, donor."
He praised: "It is not easy for the two donors to keep this secret for four years while having a special relationship with each other."
At this point, his voice became intriguing:
"However, this also indirectly proves that the love between the two donors is not affected by this little trouble."
“This is not a bad thing for you.”
Wu An: “…”
Indeed, it’s not a bad thing.
Wu An was nervous and surprised, and it took him a while to calm down.
At this moment, he felt more joyful.
The doubts that had been in my mind for many years were finally answered, and I was no longer hesitant about exchanging bodies with Li Yuhua.
He looked at Li Yuhua and smiled.
Li Yuhua blinked at him and tilted her head.
Wu clasped his hands together and nodded slightly to show his respect to the old abbot.
"Thank you very much for your suggestion, Abbot."
The old abbot took a sip of tea, smiled and nodded.
Feeling that there was room for further questions, Wu An took the opportunity to say:
“And then there are some questions.”
"You said that the secret of Li Yuhua and I exchanging bodies must not be discovered. Now that you know this secret, will our body exchange be affected?"
The old abbot said, "No, the boss is different from ordinary people. He is in tune with the laws of the universe, so he will not let you be affected by the laws of the universe. Please rest assured."
Wu An nodded.
Then he asked again: "Then I would like to ask the abbot again: How can I cultivate to your level and see through our marriage?"
"Also... in our normal society, is there an organization like yours that transcends nature?"
Wu An asked with a sharp gaze.
This question may be a bit rude.
But the old abbot didn't care.
He just said: "It's just some tricks of Buddhism, based on experience, not worth mentioning."
At this point, he took another sip of tea and said, "If you believe it, it exists. If you don't believe it, it doesn't exist. It's just not presentable."
Putting down the teacup, he chuckled and said, "If you want to understand it more deeply, you may need to convert to Buddhism and experience it yourself."
Wu An: “…”
He smiled slightly and said nothing.
Maybe there are some things in this world that cannot be explained by science, but because they have long been lost in science, they cannot be brought to the table.
Wu An had no intention of understanding it because he felt that the world had nothing to do with him.
Especially if you convert to Buddhism, doesn’t that mean you have to become a monk?
Forget about monks and the like. He already has someone he wants to marry, and he can't let her down.
So Wu An bowed modestly to the old abbot again and said, "Since the abbot has said so, I will not bother you any more."
"But please allow me to ask one more question," he said seriously.
The old abbot nodded and said, "Donor, please speak."
"Since the fate of exchanging bodies between Li Yuhua and I exists, is there any way I can control him? For example, I want to exchange bodies with him today, and tomorrow, so that he no longer exchanges bodies every day regularly?"
Wu An asked greedily.
The old abbot shook his head decisively and said, "I can only interpret your fate, but I cannot create your fate."
"Everything in this universe is beyond our reach, including your relationship with Donor Li."
"So, I can do nothing to help you."
Wu An was mentally prepared and did not feel sad.
He nodded and sat down.
But Lao Fang thought about it for a while and felt that what he said just now was inappropriate, so he corrected himself: "I just said it too absolutely. There are too many possibilities in this world that we don't know about. Maybe the two donors can control your fate?"
"That's all I can say, old man."
Wu An: "Then, thank you, Abbot."
#143 I want to be you
Wu An and Li Yuhua left Guanyin Temple.
The two of them walked with exceptional ease.
Just now they chatted with the old abbot for a while. First, they briefly talked about Wu An and his team's investment plan for Guanyin Temple, and then talked about the so-called "marriage", "ghosts", "Buddha's fate" and other issues.
Seeing their sincerity and that they had a connection with Buddha, the old abbot gave them some enlightenment.
He said: If you believe, it exists; if you don’t believe, it doesn’t exist.
In layman's terms, Wu An understood it this way: if you believe in the so-called supernatural events in this world, then they exist. If you don't believe in them, then they don't exist.
Take the example of Wu An and Li Yuhua exchanging bodies.
In the eyes of ordinary people, body swapping should not exist, and ordinary people would deny such "unscientific" things.
Therefore, based on their cognition, ordinary people would deny the existence of their "different fate" when they found out that Wu An and Li Yuhua had exchanged bodies.
If someone doesn't believe, then their karmic affinity will be resolved.
The old abbot also said: All the demons and monsters in this world are born from the heart. If there is a demon in the heart, then there is a demon.
If you have done something wrong and are afraid that evil spirits will come to your door, then the evil spirits are there.
Therefore, if evil people want to seek peace, they come to the Buddha for help.
But Buddha cannot save him, only he can save himself.
The abbot also said: All causes and effects in the world are caused by people.
There is something hidden in his words. It roughly means that ghosts and gods will not affect every aspect of society. What people do and whether they have mental demons all depends on themselves.
