Chapter 351 The Approaching Shadow

Della stayed in the Muggle world for almost a month, and half a month of that time was spent in the alchemy room. Fortunately, Leah, who had a reversed schedule, did not relax her supervision of Della. She always urged Della to rest early, and when she couldn't stand Della's staying at home, she would stay up all day and take her out to play.

A person like Della who is internally conflicted needs someone like Leah who is emotionally passionate and proactive. Let's put it this way, no matter how tired or upset Leah is after working a whole night shift, as long as she catches a glimpse of Della's occasional melancholy, she will take her out for a ride without hesitation.

Leah, who chose to endure two or three days for Della, was of course tired, and sometimes even mocked herself by saying she died suddenly, but she still held the same mentality as when she chose to contact Della in the first place - Della, who had helped her a lot, always deserved her best hospitality.

There was only one thing that made Leah feel strange. Della suddenly avoided meeting the Perea sisters, which made Leah feel sorry that she couldn't play with both Della and Beretta at the same time.

I have to say that Leah is a little too much in doting on the little girl, which can be called a "problem". Maybe she, who looks like a grown-up woman now, has never actually come out of her childhood.

Back to Della, although her emotions and self-cognition were still on the verge of collapse, her regular schedule and occasional relaxation made her appearance not so bad when she returned to school. It can only be said that she was as pale as before, but much better than when she left.

The most easily observable difference was that she didn't bring back her snake and bird, and she used a different wand.

Maggie didn't care about snakes and birds, but Della's replacement of the wand made him raise an eyebrow, "You made one with those basilisk bones?"

"It's almost the last game," Della held the tea that Maggie handed to her. The hot steam covered her empty eyes. After analyzing the dark side of Maggie in her memories countless times, she was able to face the creature who controlled her life with a calm eye. "I thought about your words carefully, and I think it would be better to use a wand that is more convenient and more powerful."

"Of course, you always deserve better." Maggie showed a happy attitude towards this. She had recently communicated with Edward Abate and understood one thing - if you let her always have the best at her fingertips, others will certainly not be able to deceive her.

"Is there anything new happening at school recently?" Della took a sip of tea, and used the tea to suppress the nausea that was rising in her stomach when she faced Maggie, and patiently pretended to be normal.

"Cynthia White and her dog that parades around town," Maggie's handsome face flashed with sarcasm, and he sneered, "Although Cynthia is originally another name for the moon goddess, there are many people with the name 'Cynthia', which is no longer so special. But now that she is allowed to keep a dog in Hogwarts, she fits the characteristics of the moon goddess with a hunting dog in Norse mythology even more -"

"Now the students just call her 'Artemis'?" Della answered Maggie's question tacitly.

"Yes," Maggie curled his lips, disdaining those students who were overly led by public opinion and emotions. He and Della fought for the right to deal with Cynthia. "Look at her, she does whatever she wants and keeps causing trouble for us. Are you really not going to consider letting me handle it?"

"You told me in the letter," Della ignored Maggie and changed the subject, talking about Maggie's unclear letter because she was afraid it would be intercepted, "Harry must win the last project in June, right?"

"The trophy of the last project will be made into a portkey, and the portkey will bring Harry to Voldemort, who will then use Harry's blood to revive him," Maggie confessed the news given to her by Barty Jr. and also stated what Voldemort asked Trevor to bring to him, "and Voldemort is finally going to meet me, and he asked me to go to a cemetery on that day."

"Only talked about your arrangements?" Della frowned.

"Differential treatment is the fastest way we know of to test people's hearts and disperse forces," Maggie spread her hands. He shrugged and didn't take Voldemort's trick seriously. "Just play around in the game. If you really want to make Voldemort unhappy, then go get the portkey with Harry. I believe his expression will be very funny when he sees you."

"It sounds really boring," Della sighed. She looked at Maggie, and an almost unnoticeable emotion rose in her dead eyes, like the white flames emitted when a fire burns to the extreme, weak on the surface but strong inside, "Just like my life is boring."

Maggie was startled and subconsciously moved closer to Della's eyes. However, the people of his kind that he had trained had also developed the ability to deceive him. The truth in Della's eyes was fleeting, so fast that no unusual thoughts crossed his mind.

"Okay, enough small talk," Della stood up and straightened her robes, "I'm going to go around Hogwarts Castle."

"Don't mean it, Della." Maggie's eyes narrowed slightly because of the action of looking up, "Are you ready to face the person you returned the ring to?"

......

Della sat down again. "Call Theodore Nott," she said, with obvious displeasure on her face.

"Okay," Maggie's eyes followed Della's movements from top to bottom. He agreed very quickly, and his eyes were full of thoughts. "I'll go and bring this new male guest over."

Della hasn't gotten over Draco Malfoy yet, but Theodore Nott is also gaining momentum.

As Maggie walked out, she came to two conclusions that she didn't like. Needless to say, she hated childish people, and even though Theodore Nott was a little smarter in comparison, he was still far from Maggie's approval.

Let Della have the best at her fingertips, but where is the best?

Who is worthy of Della?

Who is worthy to join his eternal home?

Maggie believes that these problems cannot be compromised or forced, they are all unsolvable problems, and he can only take one step at a time.

Maggie, who is troubled by the constant infestation of bedbugs around Della, has no idea that the shadow of loss and desolation he has brought to others is slowly approaching him.
