Chapter 369: El Haisen: Gone
Harold's House
Paimon was floating back and forth between Harold and Sora in annoyance. Harold was flipping through a book leisurely, while Sora was staring at Paimon with boredom. After watching for a while, he finally couldn't help but speak:
"Don't turn around, Paimon. There's no point in worrying."
Harold agreed, "If you're really bored, are you interested in learning about the seven sexes of plants and the periodic table? Learning these will be of great help to your future life (it can help you quickly keep up with the pace of my institute)."
"Hiss, then that's not necessary!" Paimon quickly floated to Sora's side nervously, spread his hands and whispered,
"Well... I understand what you said, but how long do we have to wait? It's been a long time! What if something unexpected happens to them..."
Harold put down the book in his hand and said with a smile: "My companions are all people who know how to adapt to circumstances. I believe that no matter what they encounter, they can overcome the danger... Well... Calculating the time, it should be about time--"
Before he finished speaking, he heard a female voice. The female voice was quite immature, but the voice was steady, giving people a sense of security:
"I have successfully taken over the void. Harold, Traveler, Paimon, you can go to the Ordinance Hall without worry.
Now, in the eyes of the Ordinance Court, you are just like an ordinary flower in a bush of flowers. Even if you walk around in the nursery, no one will find it strange. "
"That's Nashida's voice!" Paimon said excitedly, "Great! Nashida has taken over the void! Now we don't have to worry about being discovered by the people of the Order!"
Sora reminded, "There are guards at the entrance to the Order House."
"Oh, right? Do we still have to force our way in?" Paimon scratched his head in distress.
"We have already made arrangements for this. Lord Little King of Grass, how is the progress with Nilu?" Harold asked.
"She is ready. You may go now," said Nashida.
"You have a very accurate time management." Harold praised, then turned around and said, "Let's go, traveler. The guards at the door will be led somewhere else soon. Nothing can stop us."
Sora nodded:
1. "I believe you."
2. "I hope the plan goes well."
The three of them left home and headed for the House of the Decree. Because Nashida had regained control of the void, they simply avoided the guards' sight and did not deliberately avoid passers-by.
Soon, the three of them successfully arrived at the big tree next to the Church Hall. There were two guards in front of the gate of the Church Hall, and there were also thirty mercenaries patrolling back and forth in the open space.
"What should we do now?" Paimon asked.
Sora also looked at Harold.
"Wait a little longer." Harold said as he looked at the patrolling mercenaries.
...
Side door of the Ordinance House
Nilu put down the flower basket in her hand, took a deep breath, and made a dance start. Her beautiful red hair and graceful posture immediately attracted the attention of nearby residents and guards.
"This dance is dedicated to Xumi!" Nilu whispered to herself, and then the static movements suddenly flowed.
She raised her hands, waved her arms, and spun around. She was as light as a butterfly. The white cloth on the flower basket was unveiled, and golden sweet flowers jumped out and danced around Nilu.
They danced with ecstasy, and instantly turned the entire open space into a theater-like stage under lights.
The residents around burst into exclamations, not only because of the stunning dance moves and moving scenes, but also because of the location of the performance: this is the side door of the Ordinance House!
The guards at the gate and the thirty-man patrol team were stunned for a moment, then immediately stepped forward with halberds and swords in hand. However, Nilu and the pretenders she brought with her had already been surrounded by residents who came to watch the fun, so they had to drive the crowd away first.
But fierce protests broke out among the crowd:
"Isn't this pretty? What's wrong with letting her finish the dance?"
"It's just a few minutes. It won't bother anyone."
"Brothers and sisters, why can't you be flexible?"
The members of the Thirty-Man Group argued, loudly proclaimed the decrees of the House of Decrees, and drove the crowd away, causing chaos at the scene.
...
At the main gate of the Church Order Institute, Sora and Paimon stared at the guards at the door without blinking. Sora calculated the time and found that the thirty-man patrol team had not passed through the main gate for a long time.
They seemed to be led to some other place. Did Harold's plan work? Sora thought.
As his mind was turning, he suddenly saw a man with short gray hair, wearing a black tights and a half-shoulder cape, walking out of the Church Court.
Kong quickly shrank inwards to reduce his presence.
The man's eyes fell on the guard at the door, and the guard immediately said, "Secretary Elhaisen, what can I do for you?"
"Something happened over there and you are needed to maintain order. Haven't you received any notification from the great sage?" said Elhaisen.
"Ah?! Absolutely not." The guard was stunned.
"Hmm..." Elhaisen put his hand on his lips and muttered to himself with his eyes downcast, "The situation is more serious than I expected... Didn't you find anything unusual?"
"Yes, there are, but someone has already gone to provide support..." the guard said guiltily.
"We don't have enough manpower. You guys go over there now and leave this to me for the time being," said Elhaisen.
"it is good!"
Although they still had doubts, the guards chose to trust this reliable clerk. The two thanked Elhaisen and without hesitation, they picked up their weapons and rushed to the side door.
"A new person has been assigned. What should we do? This person looks even more difficult to deal with!" Paimon whispered in Kong's ear.
"Let's go." Harold nodded to Sora and Paimon.
"Go over now?!" Paimeng was shocked.
"We're one of us." Harold smiled, walked out from behind the tree first, and walked towards the main entrance with a swagger. Sora and Paimon hesitated for a moment and followed him.
"The guards inside have also been transferred away. Follow up, and move quickly." Elhaisen and Harold looked at each other, then turned around, and the three of them hurried to follow his footsteps.
"So he is your companion!" Paimon said in surprise.
"Elhaisen, my senior." Harold introduced as he walked.
"Oh! He is El Haisen." Paimon said in shock, "He is not missing?"
"Well...it's a little complicated to explain, and I don't think now is the time to talk about it." Harold responded with a smile.
Sora nodded in understanding.
Several people ran around in the Church Hall for a while. Although they were bumped into by several scholars, there was no conflict.
These scholars, who knew nothing about the plans of the Decree Council, were just wondering why there were so many unfamiliar faces around the clerk, and whether they were the ones chosen by the great sage.
Finally, Elhaisen stopped in a secluded corridor and opened a hidden door:
"Go down from here."
After he finished speaking, Harold entered the door first, then turned back and said, "Let's go, Traveler. Senior Elhaisen has other things to do, so he can't go down with us."
Kong looked at the dark and damp cave in front of him, looked at Elhaisen and then at Haroldt, and decided to step over the threshold.
