Chapter 387 Heaven
Chapter 387 Heaven
The Shaolin monk who asked the question put his hands together and said, "Master Xu is right. I was reckless before."
In fact, we are all old hands, so how could we not notice the strangeness in the deaths of the two Kunlun sect disciples? That is why we have to ask about it in public and restore the truth of the incident.
Therefore, the truth about Xu Qing is explained to those underworld people who are easily instigated.
Xu Qing said: "It seems that someone is deliberately trying to frame me. If this is the case, I don't want to stay out of it."
The most prestigious monk in Shaolin Temple, Tianfeng, said happily: "If Taoist Master Xu can help our temple find the real murderer who killed Abbot Tianhu, our whole temple will be grateful."
Xu Qing smiled and said, "Master, you are too polite. I wonder if I can see the Dharma body of Abbot Tianhu."
"Master Xu, please follow me." Master Tianfeng thought for a moment and agreed to Xu Qing's request.
Master Tianfeng whispered a few more instructions and invited a few respected fellow martial artists, and everyone went to the abbot of Tianhu Monastery's meditation room.
It was chilly in the Zen room.
It turned out that the Shaolin Temple had somehow found a jade bed to place the body of the man from Tianhu Lake.
Several veteran martial artists all praised the Shaolin Temple for its profound heritage.
It was Master Tianfeng who took the initiative to explain.
This was a gift from the Divine Condor Hero, who was a good friend of Zen Master Wu Se in the past.
Master Tianfeng also carefully explained the origin of the cold jade bed, which was left to the Ancient Tomb Sect by Master Chongyang.
As for how Master Wu Se got the Cold Jade Bed given by the Condor Hero, it is said that Master Wu Se saved the life of the Tomb Sect's leader Long with the Shaolin Nine Yang Kung Fu.
The Zen Master Wu Se was seriously injured by this incident and reached paradise a few years ago.
Master Tianfeng is actually the uncle of Zen Master Wu Se.
But they are actually about the same age.
Although Master Wu Se is a generation younger than Master Tian Feng, he is a rare martial arts genius in the Shaolin Temple in the past hundred years. The Prajna Palm, the Formless Tribulation Finger, and the Flower Picking Finger that he has mastered are all unique skills of the time. Later, he practiced the Shaolin Nine Yang Gong, and his skills are close to those of the five great masters of the past.
However, after being rescued by Master Wu Se, Long's temperament suddenly changed. He injured the hero Divine Condor and went to the Far North. He has not set foot in Middle-earth since then.
In recent years, there have been occasional rumors in the Northeast that someone resembling the Queen Mother of the Nine Heavens has appeared. Some ginseng collectors from Liaodong remembered her appearance and reported it back to the Central Plains, saying that she looked very similar to Sect Leader Long.
There are also rumors that this Sect Leader Long can actually attract the Aurora to practice and has long since left the mortal world.
Xu Qing had also heard these rumors when he was collecting news on the road.
He stepped forward to the cold jade bed and suddenly slapped the chest of the remains of Abbot Tianhu.
Everyone was shocked.
About to speak.
At this moment, Abbot Tianhu's eyes suddenly opened.
Fake corpse?
Fortunately, the people who come in are not ordinary people.
Even when faced with something as bizarre as a corpse robbing its body, he was able to suppress his shock and not panic.
Master Tianfeng stepped forward and said, "Abbot, how are you now?"
Xu Qing said softly: "I used the Soul Resurrection Technique, Master Tianfeng, if you have anything to say, please ask me immediately."
Only then did Tianhu Shangren understand the reason and asked hurriedly, "Abbot, who harmed you?"
The man on Tianhu Lake's face was blank at first, and then his eyes fell on Wuhua in the crowd.
"No flowers?" Everyone was shocked.
Although Abbot Tianhu was not Wuhua's master, most of Wuhua's knowledge was taught by Abbot Tianhu. It can be said that Abbot Tianhu was half of Wuhua's mentor.
Wuhua's action is undoubtedly an act of disrespecting his teacher and ancestors.
Upon seeing this, Wuhua didn't wait for the Shaolin monk to come and ask for clarification, and directly slapped him with his palm.
It was the Shaolin Temple's unique Prajna Palm.
The powerful palm force stopped everyone, and then a smoke bomb commonly used by Japanese ninjas was thrown out. Wuhua escaped directly under the smoke that filled the whole place.
...
...
Master Tianfeng was chasing fast enough, but when he reached the cliff behind the mountain, he found that Xu Qing was already at the edge of the cliff.
In this matter, only Xu Qing is on the edge of the cliff.
"Where is Wuhua?" Master Tianfeng looked a little sad.
Because Wuhua was his adopted disciple.
However, Wuhua turned out to be the murderer of Abbot Tianhu.
How could he accept this?
In fact, with his wisdom, he had already guessed it, but he just didn't dare to confirm it.
"He jumped off the cliff, but he didn't die." Xu Qing said slowly.
How could Wuhua be his opponent?
But just when Xu Qing was about to catch Wuhua, a jade Buddha appeared and almost defeated Xu Qing's soul.
Yes, after the two ghost messengers from the underworld took his soul away, Xu Qing could already clearly sense his own soul, but it couldn't leave his body.
The ghost catcher's soul-calling technique was more like a law, so he lured out his soul.
Of course, the rules of this world do not allow the soul to be out of the body for too long.
However, the things inside the jade Buddha were obviously bound by the jade Buddha.
So after launching the attack, the Buddha's light quickly emitted and wrapped Wuhua up, jumping off the cliff and leaving.
This is a very typical villain fate.
Xu Qing thought to himself before Master Tianfeng arrived.
At the same time, both the Jade Buddha and the ghost messenger’s affairs served as a reminder to Xu Qing.
The Dharma Ending Age of this world seems to be coming to an end.
As for the soul-returning technique used on the abbot of Tianhu before, it was actually a trick used by Xu Qing. He used his own innate Qi to control the dead body of the abbot of Tianhu.
The cultivation in this world, in terms of the structure and control of the human body, is actually not as powerful as the martial arts of the Dayu Dynasty.
But the martial arts skills are even better than before.
The martial arts in the world today have a bit of the meaning of "skills can advance to the Tao, and art can reach the spirit."
When Master Tianfeng heard that Wuhua was not dead, he felt mixed emotions. He clasped his hands together towards Xu Qing and said, "Thank you, Taoist Master Xu, for helping our temple find the real culprit."
He also didn't mention the return of the soul of Abbot Tianhu.
Because he knew it was fake.
Xu Qing smiled slightly: "I have helped Shaolin Temple. Now I have an unwelcome request. Master, please help me."
"Master Xu, do you want to go to the Sutra Library of our temple?"
"Haha, Master, you are brilliant."
Master Tianfeng: "The martial arts of our temple are nothing to praise compared to the orthodox Quanzhen Sect. However, the Buddhist teachings in the Sutra Library are quite profound. If Master Xu has nothing important to do, you can read the Buddhist scriptures in our temple after reading the martial arts classics."
If it were an ordinary Taoist priest, Master Tianfeng's words would easily offend people.
Because there is suspicion of maliciously extraditing the other party to convert.
But Quanzhen Sect is one of the three religions, and Shaolin Temple is based on Zen Buddhism. The two sects have many similarities in their ideas, so these words come from the heart.
They are all people who have practiced for many years and are not ordinary people.
Partisanship is only used to explain to the outside world. In fact, when it reaches a certain level, it is very clear that when the principles of the world reach a high level, you copy me and I copy you.
For example, Taoism says that heaven and earth are not benevolent, which is similar to Buddhism’s view that all living beings are equal.
Even Confucianism says that nothing is impossible.
In fact, they all mean the same thing.
Only by transcending the distinction between good and evil, right and wrong, can one touch the Tao.
The distinction between good and evil, right and wrong, public and private, are all imposed by people and are not the Tao.
This is the truth, but with the creation of heaven and earth, and the emergence of all living things, good and evil, public and private, are all unavoidable.
...
...
Shaoshi Mountain is hundreds of miles away.
Wuhua: "That Taoist priest is really powerful. If it weren't for you, Master Buddha, I'm afraid I would be completely screwed this time."
"I underestimated him. I didn't expect that even the soul-collecting messenger from the underworld couldn't take his soul away."
"Master Buddha, where are we going now?"
"West, it's time for you to meet one of my incarnations."
"Does the Buddha have another incarnation in the world?" "That is one of the Buddha's appearances, and you recognize it."
"Who?"
"Stone Guanyin."
Wuhua was extremely shocked.
You have to know that Shi Guanyin is his biological mother, so how could she have such a relationship with the evil Buddha?
"What do you think I want you to do, my dear son?" The Jade Buddha's voice suddenly became extremely gentle.
There are no flowers, but I feel cold all over.
The Jade Buddha's voice changed again, "The Stone Guanyin is the fish of Guanyin, and also the fish of this Buddha."
Wuhua was familiar with Buddhist scriptures and knew that Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva was far superior to other Buddhas and had already attained Buddhahood. The question was, how were Avalokitesvara and the Worldly Free King Buddha related?
He just felt that he had entered an endless pool of turbid water.
Jade Buddha: "We, the gods and Buddhas, are one in us. The only people we fear are ordinary people."
Wuhua: "How can living beings worship gods and Buddhas, and make them afraid?"
"Everyone is Tathagata, everyone is Yuanshi. The true nature of all living beings is what gods and Buddhas fear to be stripped away. For a cultivator, seeing the true nature and forming a primordial spirit is only the first step in cultivation."
"What the Buddha said is consistent with the Buddhist teachings of no self, no others, and no sentient beings."
Jade Buddha: "It is easy to get the truth, but the great way cannot be achieved by others. No matter how much I tell you, you have to walk the road by yourself. Unfortunately, we are delayed by that Taoist priest, and it is impossible for us to find the spirit boy. I think this matter is also the invisible interference of Sakyamuni."
Having said this, it snorted coldly, obviously extremely dissatisfied.
Suddenly, the Jade Buddha laughed again, "Shakyamuni must have been bullied by the Supreme Being, otherwise how could his actions leave traces."
The Buddha's Dharma of Tathagata cannot be found.
Now that the Jade Buddha can see the traces of Sakyamuni, it naturally realizes that something is wrong with Sakyamuni. The only one who can cause Sakyamuni to have problems is Taishang.
This world was originally the Supreme Daoist place sealed by Sakyamuni, but now it seems that it has bound Sakyamuni in the opposite way.
The Jade Buddha understood this truth, and then looked at the world, which was like yin and yang, endlessly entangled.
Tai Shang is the most yin and the most gentle, while Sakyamuni is the most hard and the most yang.
Then the yin pole gives birth to the yang, and the yang pole gives birth to the yin, all of which are wonderful effects that arise naturally.
...
...
The martial arts of Shaolin Temple are nothing impressive.
Xu Qing finished reading it quickly.
The so-called seventy-two unique skills are just that.
His Heaven-Repairing Hand, learning these martial arts is as easy as eating and drinking.
And Xu Qing did not find the legendary Nine Yang Manual, which was a bit regretful.
It’s nothing, just emotion.
As for the Buddhist scriptures treasured in Shaolin Temple, Xu Qing had already read all the similar scriptures during the Dayu Dynasty.
The truth is easy to know but difficult to follow.
To be honest, at this point today, Xu Qing is very clear that seeking the truth is fundamentally anti-human.
Only by going against human nature can one achieve enlightenment.
Therefore, many practitioners cut off the seven emotions and six desires. This is not extreme, but rather a choice of an easy path.
In fact, it is very difficult to completely cut off contact.
Being able to come in and out is the best.
It's easier said than done, but it's hard to strike the right balance.
"Man" is both from the inside out and from the outside in.
Determine the distinction between inside and outside, and between honor and disgrace.
too difficult.
Xu Qing is still crossing the river by feeling the stones.
He now vaguely understood another meaning of his coming into this world.
Transform the ordinary into the true.
If he wanted to become the Emperor of Heaven and truly establish the Heavenly Court, what he lacked was not strength, but the heart of the Emperor of Heaven. Impartial, beyond the distinction between inside and outside.
If one does not have the heart of the Emperor of Heaven, then one is still at the level of mortal emperors and generals.
The Heavenly Palace cannot be called the Heavenly Palace.
Raise your head three feet and there is a god.
The true meaning of heaven is to have heavenly laws and regulations to restrain all things, approach impartiality, and resolve the complex cause and effect karma accumulated by all beings in the universe.
On the other hand, there is no heaven.
Then the karma accumulated over billions of years will eventually be out of control, triggering a catastrophe that will include all living beings, and that will naturally be the end of all living beings.
To put it bluntly, the purpose of heaven is to ease and resolve conflicts.
Only by building the Heavenly Palace according to this concept can Xu Qing's Heavenly Palace be recognized by all living beings, instead of being a hegemony like the Tai Shang Dao Zong.
This is probably also the reason why Emperor Changsheng and Emperor Ziwei failed.
They didn't do that.
Xu Qing thought of some things in history.
Why many religions thrive at the grassroots level.
That is because local government offices have lost their function of mediating conflicts among the people, so religion, as an organization that mediates conflicts at the grassroots level, has room to survive and develop.
They simply replaced the functions of the local government offices.
The Taiping Heavenly Kingdom and the Yellow Turban Rebellion both originated from this.
If the government doesn't give the people the fairness they want, other organizations will naturally provide it.
He who wins the hearts of the people wins the world.
To put it bluntly, it is the people's demand for fairness.
Are these religions necessarily fair?
of course not.
But compared to the unhuman government offices, these organizations are a little more humane and seem quite respectable.
Beautiful women are set off by ugly and evil women.
If there is no retribution for good and evil, there must be selfishness in the universe.
This is the deepest desire of all sentient beings.
To put it bluntly, I was bullied and wanted to give others retribution, it's that simple.
Xu Qing had many things in his mind and he couldn't continue reading the Buddhist scriptures.
Because the idea of Buddhist scriptures is to encourage people to be patient and not to care.
Admittedly, this is also a solution, but it is too cowardly and is not what Xu Qing is looking for.
The way of the underworld is to take revenge.
This is also the deepest desire of ordinary people.
The most important thing in life is happiness.
This is not vulgarity, but a consensus.
Xu Qing's soul trembled, as if it had taken a tonic elixir and felt clear from the inside out.
...
...
Big desert.
Wuhua suddenly realized that his jade Buddha pendant had become extremely hot, almost melting his flesh.
No, his jade Buddha pendant had indeed melted.
"Who dares to challenge the teachings of Sakyamuni head-on?" The evil Buddha's voice was filled with a hint of horror.
"So that's how it is." The evil Buddha seemed to understand something and laughed wildly.
There is freedom and liberation in laughter.
The jade Buddha melted and turned into a ball of Buddha light, which dissipated between heaven and earth.
A strange and extremely beautiful Buddha figure that looked like both male and female appeared in the desert.
