Chapter 565: Get it back!

The Seraph stopped in mid-air, and Ai Wanxin's sentinels drove their respective mechas to her side.

"Where did the fleet come from?" Ai Wanxin frowned slightly, "Did the first and second quadrant fleets get rid of the resistance army?"

Jon's eyes were fixed on the gleaming warships, and his heart was beating like a drum.

It wasn't until a huge warship with dark blue runes running across its hull descended from the darkness that could swallow all light that Jon finally confirmed what he was thinking. He exclaimed in surprise, "Commander, it's your flagship!"

Ai Wan was stunned and didn't react for a moment.

My flagship?

The intermittent shouts of the commanders of the Third Quadrant Fleet rang out simultaneously in the communication channel: "Commander, OK, it seems to be the expeditionary force..."

"Galactic Expeditionary Force!"

Ai Wan raised his head in surprise, and Seraphim raised his head at the same time, just in time to see a cluster of thick gun turrets slowly extending from the top of the flagship. Blue energy flowed along the runes on the hull, rushing towards the muzzle like a tide, and soon gathered into a dazzling and blinding ball of light.

A brilliant ball of light shot out, and the chaotic battlefield seemed to be paused. All sounds suddenly disappeared from Ai Wanxin's ears, and the hairs on her arms stood up.

Even though she had no idea what weapon it was.

In a flash, a light green light flashed past the side of the Seraph, leaving only a resolute back in Ai Wanxin's eyes.

"Run! Run!!!" Jon's hoarse roar exploded in the communicator.

The light green protective shield was deployed to the limit in front of Gu Yan. The protective shield that could normally withstand the impact of small meteorites was still a hundred meters away from the light group, and cracks had already covered the entire shield like a spider web.

But not only did Jon's speed not decrease, but he pushed the power of the mecha to the limit.

The other sentinels reacted instantly and chased after it at lightning speed. Protective shields of different colors unfolded one by one in front of the mecha, and a piece of light and shadow fragment rose from the bottom of the sea deep in Ai Wanxin's memory.

She remembered that it was the SP-class ship-borne main gun Holy Light's Wrath, which was carried by the fortress-class space flagship Guardian, the former commander-in-chief of the three armies of the Galactic Expeditionary Force. Even the protective shield of the heavy battleship could not block this shot, let alone the mecha.

Without any time to think, Seraph turned into a bright red light and instantly passed through a group of mechas.

Like a scene in a movie that was played in infinite slow motion, countless stunned animals and a large mass of tangled vines appeared out of thin air in mid-air beside the winding trail left by the red light.

"Ah~~~~~~~" The small plane was suddenly thrown out, the upper half of the fuselage was spinning wildly, and it fell into the sea with a scream.

Jörmungandr twisted his huge and clumsy body, opened his bloody mouth wide, and pounced on the group of fresh flesh and blood together with the demons that gathered like locusts again.

With a "click", just when Xiao Ji was about to faint, a giant claw harder than alloy clamped it tightly.

The red dragon, already an adult, flapped its wings that covered the sky and opened its huge mouth. Green, scorching dragon breath gushed out, colliding with the liquid flame spewed out by Jörmungandr in the air, illuminating half the sky like daylight.

On the other side, the dazzling ball of light that was about to swallow up the group of mechas suddenly disappeared in the air. In the cockpit of the Seraph, Ai Wanxin slapped the communication button on the console, temporarily cutting off communication with everyone.

The moment the communication was disconnected, she opened her mouth and spurted out a cloud of blood.

Seraph quickly released the medical mechanical arm, but Ai Wanxin stopped it by raising her hand.

The shockwaves caused by the explosion of the artillery shell in space almost shattered her internal organs. If it weren't for her powerful self-healing ability, she would have had to lie down immediately.

From Ai Wanxin throwing out all the living things in the space, to her jumping over all the mechas to block the thundering attack of the Wrath of Holy Light, to her cutting off the communication, it all happened in a flash.

The sentinels, ready to die, stared in amazement at the back of the Seraph in front of them, as well as the grayed-out communication profile picture of Ai Wanxin. The blood in their bodies seemed to have frozen.

Ai Wanxin knew that the communication could not be disconnected for too long. She originally wanted to take a handkerchief from the space and wipe the blood off her face, but she could not get anything out.

Now in her space, except for the constantly vibrating Eye of Soul Chant and the Forgotten Heart, the rest of the place can be said to be a scorched earth.

"How ridiculous." Ai Wan said angrily. That was the fortune she had saved up with great difficulty, and it was destroyed in just one blow.

She raised the back of her hand, wiped away the blood at the corner of her lips, and reconnected the call.

The faces of each of her sentinels in the picture were blank, as if their souls were not in their bodies.

Ai Wanxin raised her eyebrows and shouted, "The signal is a bit bad, don't be dazed, this is the fleet we took to the distant star, what are you waiting for, take it back!"

After saying that, Seraph took the lead and rushed straight towards the Patronus which was beginning to accumulate energy again.

The mechas responded and moved. Each of them was more silent than usual, with terrifying and raging rage suppressed in their eyes.

It was hard to tell how much of that anger was directed at the enemy and how much was directed at themselves.

It was just a pity for the armed airships, fighter jets and drones released from the densely packed warships. They collided head-on with the extremely angry sentinels and instantly turned into brilliant flames in the sky, like a grand and luxurious fireworks display.

The anxious voices of the Third Quadrant commanders on the communication channel became increasingly intermittent, and cosmic radiation was rapidly increasing at a very ominous rate.

"Commander! Fleet... Over a large base... The shield is overloaded..."

"Expeditionary Force, enemy forces... full-scale battle—"

"Mutated creatures are rioting, commander!"

"The ground is sinking, plates are collapsing, and the sea is flooding back!"

"Pressure drops, atmosphere strips, repeat, atmosphere strips!"

On Ai Wanxin's retina, the area representing environmental parameters flashed a dazzling red light.

"Master, the atmospheric parameters are abnormal, indicating that the atmosphere is escaping into space at an accelerated rate. At the current rate, in three minutes, humans will not be able to obtain enough oxygen from the air."

"How long?!" Ai Wan's scalp felt numb. Three minutes, what can I do in three minutes? Three minutes!

"The ship's shield can activate an artificial gravity field to enhance local gravity to slow down the process of atmospheric escape, but that would consume a huge amount of energy. The fleet cannot do this while maintaining the current firepower output and defense strength."

Ai Wanxin understood what Seraphim meant. Countless demons and ships were pouring out from the passage on the sky, coupled with the rampaging zombies and mutated plants and animals. Even the fleet that originally had firepower suppression on the demons would lose its advantage after the Galactic Expeditionary Force ships joined the battle, not to mention allocating some energy to prevent the atmosphere from escaping.

Damn it, this can’t be the real doomsday they’ve always been talking about!
