Chapter 599: Lin Xiao's Way Out
Lin Xiao and Mo Yu stood at the foot of the towering mountain. The mountain was like a sharp sword piercing the sky, and the lingering clouds were like a mysterious veil, making it difficult to see its true appearance. Lin Xiao looked up at the top of the mountain, his eyes wide open, and he couldn't help muttering: "Oh my god, this mountain is so high that it's almost reaching the sky!"
Mo Yu looked serious, his eyes fixed on the mountain, and said, "Xiao'er, this is not a joke. The danger on the mountain is unpredictable. We must be careful."
Lin Xiao shook her hair and said stubbornly: "What are you afraid of? We have seen all kinds of situations." As she said that, she took big strides and walked towards the mountain.
The mountain road was rugged and uneven, with sharp stones and slippery moss everywhere. Lin Xiao walked carefully, and soon her forehead was covered with sweat. She panted and complained: "This broken road is simply asking for trouble!"
"Ouch!" Lin Xiao suddenly slipped and fell forward.
Mo Yu was quick to pull her back and said with concern, "Xiao'er, go slowly, don't be anxious."
Lin Xiao stood firm, patted his chest and said, "Luckily you're here, otherwise I would have fallen flat on my face."
They continued to climb up with difficulty. The wind whistled around them, as if mocking their recklessness.
"The wind is too strong. It makes my hair a mess!" Lin Xiao shouted while fixing her hair.
Mo Yu responded: "Xiao'er, don't worry about your hair, just watch your step."
When they were halfway up the mountain, a gust of wind blew past, making it impossible for them to open their eyes. Lin Xiao shouted, "How come this wind came so suddenly? It's like a seizure!"
When the wind stopped, they found that the surrounding scenery had become very strange. The originally lush trees became dry and twisted, and some strange symbols appeared on the ground, like some kind of mysterious spell.
Lin Xiao frowned, his face full of confusion: "What's going on? It feels like I'm possessed."
Mo Yu looked solemn, observing his surroundings vigilantly: "Xiao'er, be careful, this may be some kind of trap."
As they were speaking, a group of dark shadows suddenly jumped out from the woods at lightning speed and surrounded them in an instant.
Lin Xiao screamed in fear: "Oh my god, what the hell is this?"
Mo Yu quickly drew his sword and shouted, "Xiao'er, hide behind me!"
Mo Yu used his sharp sword skills to engage in a fierce fight with the black shadow. The sword shadow flickered and shone brightly.
Lin Xiao watched nervously from the side, and shouted from time to time: "Mo Yu, be careful to the left!"
After a fierce fight, the black shadow gradually retreated, but Mo Yu was also exhausted and out of breath.
Lin Xiao walked up to him, handed him a handkerchief, and said distressedly: "Are you okay?"
Mo Yu shook his head and said, "I'm fine, let's keep going."
They continued to move forward and came to a cave. There was a gloomy smell coming from the cave, which made people shudder.
Lin Xiao looked inside curiously, muttering, "Is there a treasure in here?"
Mo Yu held her back and said seriously, "Don't go in rashly, be careful of fraud."
But Lin Xiao had already walked in impatiently, and Mo Yu had no choice but to follow him.
The cave was dark and damp, with strange lights flickering on the walls. Lin Xiao walked carefully and suddenly heard a low roar.
"What's that sound?" Lin Xiao's voice trembled.
At this moment, a huge monster rushed out from the darkness.
Lin Xiao turned pale with fear: "Oh my god, this is too big!"
Mo Yu stepped forward again and fought a desperate battle with the monster.
