Chapter 712: Punishment Run
Instructor Huang naturally heard the students' discussions, but he did not react at all. He had led military training for several classes of freshmen and it was not his first time as an instructor, so he was very familiar with the reactions of the freshmen and was used to it.
"Time's up." Instructor Huang suddenly pointed at the first boy on the far left, "Start counting from you."
After reporting the number of students, Huang Hong found that a few male students were missing. He asked the students which ones were missing, wrote down their names, and asked all the students to come out in turn and introduce themselves.
After all the students have introduced themselves, I checked their clothes one by one, taught them how to dress neatly, and then started training them to practice in formation.
Instructor Huang glanced at all the students and stepped forward to correct their movements one by one. He soon found that one of the girls had the most standard posture.
"Your name is Zhang Ran?" Huang Hong asked while standing in front of Zhang Ran.
"Instructor, yes." Zhang Ran answered without looking away.
Just then, the boys who were late finally arrived. When asked the reason, they found out that they accidentally overslept.
Instructor Huang punished them by making each of them do ten push-ups on the spot, while the other students watched.
Seeing that they were unconvinced, Instructor Huang was the first to lie down and do ten push-ups as an example.
Several late boys silently knelt down and started to do push-ups. Their push-ups were not done in a standard way, some could not do even one, and some could only do three or four before they knelt down.
None of the late boys could complete the push-up task, so Huang Hong took this opportunity to punish all the students in the class to run five laps around the outermost area of the playground, because students from other classes were training in the inner circle.
The girls were always well-behaved and obeyed after a few complaints.
But a few rebellious boys refused to accept the result and stood up to talk back to the instructor. Why should they be punished for other people's mistakes?
Instructor Huang told them about group honor. From now on, if one student is late, everyone else will be punished together, and those who are not convinced will come forward to challenge him.
Who could beat an instructor who came from the army? They were so angry that they could only accept the punishment without saying anything.
Zhang Ran might be able to beat him, but she didn't want to take the lead. Besides, running was a common thing for her.
Although he was punishing the students, Instructor Huang took the lead and the students suppressed their resentment and followed him.
I could barely keep up in the first lap.
In the second lap, we were panting and the team became sparse and gradually became longer.
By the third lap, some people could no longer hold on and ran slower and slower.
By the fourth lap, only two girls, Tian Baozhu and Zhang Ran, were left behind Instructor Huang.
By the fifth lap, Tian Baozhu could no longer keep up and slowed down.
Zhang Ran was still at ease and followed closely behind Huang Hong to be the first to complete the course.
Instructor Huang looked at her deeply and praised her, "Not bad, go and rest under the shade of the tree." He shouted to the others, "Hurry up and run!" Pointing at a few boys who refused to run, he said, "The girls are better than you! Hurry up and run!"
Some boys lost face and said sarcastically, "The mud legs from the countryside have good physical strength."
Instructor Huang immediately ran over and kicked them on the buttocks, forcing them to keep running forward.
Zhang Ran went to rest under the shade of a tree.
Several boys from other classes passed by, and one of them suddenly stopped and walked up to Zhang Ran, "Junior, we meet again. I didn't ask for your name last time." He had bumped into the security guard many times when entering and leaving the school, and only then did he realize that the other party was actually a woman!
Zhang Ran looked up at the dark-skinned sports student standing in front of her and recognized him as Li Wenzhe, who wanted to help her move her luggage at the beginning of the school year. She said indifferently, "My name is Zhang Ran."
