Chapter 753: Gift from the Spirit of Light
The nine realms ruled by Asgard are actually nine planets.
These nine planets belong to the same spatial dimension and are on a branch.
This trunk and branches are called the World Tree.
And the World Tree is not in this universe, but in a separate space.
The nine realms are:
Asgard: The realm of the gods, the home of the Aesir, the hometown of Odin and Thor.
Midgard: Earth, the land of humans and gods. (The gods were later driven away)
Jotunheim: The land of the frost giants and the birthplace of Loki.
Watalheim: The territory of the dark elves.
Alfheim: Realm of the Light Elves.
Nidavellir: The forge planet of the Dwarves.
Muspelheim: The Land of Fire, the domain of the fire giant Surtur.
Helheim: The land of the dead, Hela's exile place.
Vanaheim: The home of the Vanir gods and the hometown of the goddess Frigga.
There are only 5 planets with normal life here.
Asgard, Earth, the kingdom of the light elves, the kingdom of the dwarves, and the Vanir gods.
Other countries are in a state of disarray.
This is normal. There can't be only good things and no bad things.
Luke's memories of his previous life did not reveal anything about this.
He had never heard of any other kingdom besides Asgard.
Even the name Midgard was not known until later.
Of course, hearing about it and understanding it are two different things.
It's like you've heard of a place, but you roughly know what kind of mountains and water there are.
But what are the specifics of the mountain, such as what it looks like, how high it is, what are the special landscapes and buildings, and what is its cultural history?
I don't know about that.
This is the difference between having heard and understanding.
Luke had only heard of it in his previous life, but didn't understand it.
After living in this world for so long, I am only beginning to understand it.
But what happened in this world was very different from what he remembered from his previous life.
Now Luke no longer relies on the memories of his past life to make first-hand judgments about what is happening and who is happening in this world.
A few days later, when Luke contacted Hela, Hela gave Luke a big surprise.
Looking at the light elf in front of him that was less than half a person's height, Luke asked a soul-searching question:
"Is this the light elf? How do they reproduce?"
Hela sighed and replied:
"You and your master are exactly the same. You only think about reproduction every day..."
Luke was confused.
Looking up, I saw that except for the Elf Queen, the others were slightly smaller elves, and their heights were not even as tall as Hela in her loli state.
And each one of them is as beautiful as a doll, and they are all female.
Their skin is mostly pearly white, light gold or translucent, with natural bioluminescent patterns on the surface and emits a soft glow.
They have slender and elegant bodies, delicate features, and are more symmetrical and flawless than humans.
The hair is silver and translucent, with a light particle effect when it blows in the wind.
Dressed in lightweight, glowing fabrics, inlaid with crystals unique to Alfheim.
Many wore flower/vine headpieces.
The most amazing thing is that they have two pairs of translucent cicada wings on their backs.
They can float in the air almost without flapping their wings.
Luke really couldn't understand what the purpose of their wings was.
Newton is here, CPUs are going to smoke...
Hela kicked Luke's calf in frustration.
"Ragnarok is coming, I have to protect these little guys."
Luke didn't care at all about Hela's attack and nodded in agreement with her.
These little elves are so beautiful, they are simply works of art from nature.
"Uh...how are you going to arrange them?"
Hela shook her head.
"It's not me, it's you who arranged it?"
Luke: “Me?”
Hela looked at Luke and sighed.
"These light elves are the protectors of nature and the best partners of plants. Need I tell you? Is your paradise still empty?"
After hearing what Hela said, Luke suddenly realized.
After figuring it out, Luke almost hugged Hela and kissed her.
This is great news.
Paradise was originally the back garden that Luke prepared for himself.
The marine life is moved directly from the earth. By opening a portal in the sea, a large number of marine life will be transferred to Paradise Star.
But there is no other way for land creatures. They can only be cultivated little by little and then moved over.
Even if you move there, you still have to accept the survival of the fittest.
At least half of them died because they could not adapt to the soil of Paradise.
This is a long and time-consuming project.
Luke had no good solution.
There is now.
The light elves are simply a plug-in of nature.
None of the plants that passed through their hands died...
This group of light elves relies on light and plants to survive.
So the question is, how do they reproduce?
Hela was so mad at Luke that she wanted White Socks to bite him.
After Hela talked to the Elf Queen for a few words, she surrounded Luke and went deep into the forest.
Here, Luke saw a big tree.
It’s not huge, nor is it particularly tall, but it’s unique.
The leaves of this tree are glowing, and the trunk and leaves are veined with translucent green and gold.
There are many huge golden fruits on the treetops.
The Elf Queen pointed at the big tree and said something, and Hela translated it for Luke.
"The fruits on those trees are what give birth to light elves. When the fruit blooms, a new light elf will be born inside."
Luke looked at the light elves flying up and down the trees and sighed.
"It's really amazing. How do their souls reincarnate?"
"OK, I won't ask anymore, can you put down the axe..."
Hela put away the Indian-style tomahawk and said to Luke:
"Now, to remove this tree, your portal will need to remain open for a while."
This stumped Luke.
One moment, no problem.
But if it is kept on, it will have to supply energy continuously.
It's no problem to keep transmitting energy, but Luke has too much to do and can't be trapped here forever.
The Elf Queen saw that Luke was in trouble, so she said something to Hela.
Hela translated to Luke and said:
"The Queen said there is a way, but it requires an exchange."
Luke: "Exchange? Exchange for what?"
As soon as he finished speaking, Luke stared at what the Elf Queen took out with wide eyes.
Mind gem!
The golden soul gem suddenly appeared in the hands of the Elf Queen.
That's a necklace.
There are also some gems unique to Alfheim on it.
But the largest and center one is the Mind Gem.
Hela: "The Queen said that she can use this gem to sense the location of the Space Gem."
Luke: "Where is the Space Stone?"
Hela: "It's on Paradise."
Luke directly opened a portal to Heaven.
The queen took the Mind Gem and a group of elves and went through the portal to Heaven Star.
Luke and Hela followed in.
