Chapter 916 She Killed a Chicken
"I didn't see any chicken soup." Zhang Ran explained with a shy smile: "My mother can cook, and her cooking skills are pretty good. I learned from her."
Boss Hu walked over, picked up a hundred yuan from the stove and handed it over, "It's just a chicken, why would you need so much money? Keep it."
Zhang Ran shook his head. Seeing that he was trying to force it in, he quickly reached out to take it, with a look of emotion on his face, "Uncle, you are so nice."
Boss Hu looked at her kindly and said, "Eat quickly. It won't taste good if it gets cold."
Zhang Ran didn't say anything. He lowered his head and finished eating the braised chicken, then drank a large bowl of wild mushroom soup, then put down his bowl and chopsticks to wash the dishes.
Boss Hu said quickly, "Leave it here, we'll take a shower. It's already late, you can go back to your room and continue sleeping." He watched Zhang Ran walk out and followed her calmly, watching her walk into the room and close the door.
Looking back at Hu Lao Er, he saw him opening the cupboard. With the moonlight coming in from the window, he found an empty bowl. It was the bowl of wild mushroom chicken soup that he had specially reserved before. Now it was empty. He threw the bowl back into the cupboard, cursing, "Which damn starving ghost stole it?"
Turning his head to look at Boss Hu, he saw him staring at the bowl and chopsticks Zhang Ran had eaten from, and shouted, "Brother, what's wrong with you?"
Boss Hu looked at him and said, "Don't you think something is wrong?"
"What's wrong?" Hu Lao Er saw that he was staring at the dishes on the stove, and thought for a moment and said, "There should be some city kids who can cook, right? What's wrong with this?"
Boss Hu stared at him dimly, "She killed a chicken!" How many city kids dare to kill a chicken?
Hu Lao Er seemed to be struck by lightning. He suddenly jumped to the kitchen door and glanced at the closed door. He turned around and walked quickly to the side of Hu Lao Da, lowering his voice, "What Sister Mei said can't be true? She really dares to kill people and set fires? Then..." His eyes suddenly darkened, and murderous intent flashed, "...I'm going to call Lao San back now and break her legs! I don't believe that a useless person can rebel against the sky!"
Boss Hu immediately nodded in agreement.
The two men walked out of the kitchen quickly. Big Hu stared at the door, and watched Second Hu go out to find Third Hu from the corner of his eye.
The moon tonight is big and round, and its moonlight shines on the earth, dispelling most of the darkness.
Boom boom boom!
A burst of hurried footsteps was heard, and Hu Lao Da, who was sitting in the main room, stood up subconsciously and looked towards the yard. Hu Lao Er, who was about to go out to look for someone, ran back as if he was being chased by a ghost.
"Second brother?" Boss Hu called out in confusion.
boom!
Hu Laoer ran into the main room and immediately turned around to close the door and plug in the wooden bolt. Even so, he still felt unsafe. He looked around for a few times, found a carrying pole and other things to prop up the door behind him, and gasped with a look of fear on his face.
"What are you doing?" Boss Hu looked at his strange behavior in confusion.
Just as Hu Laoer was about to answer, a chaotic sound of footsteps was heard in the yard.
There are people! A lot of people! Many people broke into his yard! Hu Laoda subconsciously looked out through the crack in the door, and was immediately trembling with fear.
A dozen ferocious-looking men broke into the yard. They were all strangers and he didn't recognize any of them.
They threw a man and a woman to the ground, but they looked extremely familiar.
The man was Hu Laosan and the woman was Sister Mei.
The two men were beaten beyond recognition, their faces covered in blood.
No wonder Hu Laoer was so scared that he ran back just after he ran out and locked the door!
