Chapter 35 After waking up

"You mean, everything happened during the week I was in a coma?" Della, who had just woken up, was half lying on the hospital bed with her hands clasped in front of her. She looked at Dumbledore with a kind face, and then at Harry, who was still in a coma hidden behind a pile of comfort supplies on the bed diagonally opposite her. She felt a little strange.

Her formidable enemy was defeated by Harry, perhaps only through courage.

"Yes, Della, when I arrived, Harry was fainted on the ground with the Philosopher's Stone in his hand, and our Professor Quirrell, I'm afraid he has turned to ashes." Dumbledore looked at the pale girl in front of him and pondered.

"This is really..." Della said halfway, she smiled with emotion, turned her eyes to the sleeping Harry, and said the next half sentence in a strange tone, "Savior-----"

"Della, you are a good child," Dumbledore looked at Della with a faint scrutiny in his eyes, "Take good care of your injuries. I still have to go to the Ministry of Magic to deal with some things. Also, your detention is lifted, Della."

"Thank you very much for your consideration, Headmaster Dumbledore." Della smiled faintly and watched Dumbledore turn around and leave, dragging his slightly complicated robe.

As the figure disappeared from sight, a slight friction sound came from under the bed and gradually tended to move upwards, but this trend came to an abrupt end when a high-pitched scream was heard.

Della's expression was normal, only her eyes moved slightly. She tilted her head to look at the door at the right time and smiled gently.

"Della!"

Quasi's body, covered in a pillowcase, jumped towards Della. From Della's perspective, his big eyes sparkled in the sunlight.

"You're finally awake! I was almost scared to death when Kwasi first came back!"

"Thank you for your concern, Kwasi, I'm fine." Della's eyes narrowed as her smile widened, and she continued to stare at Kwasi.

"Della is so pitiful. She has to go to the infirmary so many times! If only Quasi hadn't gone out to help Dumbledore find something, Quasi would have wanted to take care of Della!" Quasi beside the bed became excited again. His hands had already climbed up the iron bedside, and he made a gesture as if he was going to bang his head. "If only Quasi were here! If only Quasi were here! Quasi is going to punish himself! Quasi is going to punish himself!"

Della reacted quickly and leaned forward, pressing her cool hand on Kwasi's fleshy forehead. "Kwasi, friends don't have to take care of each other all the time. It's the best that you have this heart. Don't worry, Madam Pomfrey takes good care of me."

"Dela..." Quasi stared blankly at the enlarged face in front of him. He felt a warm touch on his forehead that he had never felt before. The girl's words became vague and heavy in his ears.

Toil was the lot of house-elves, and both they and those who were willing to pay them were accustomed to it. Quasi had always enjoyed the labor and was always grateful without the need for reward.

He had already felt ashamed for expressing his desire to go out to Dumbledore, but Della elevated him from a position of mere labor value to a friend of the wizard he had always looked up to.

When emotions reach a peak, they won’t be so exciting anymore.

"You shouldn't be here! The patient needs to rest!"

Quasi couldn't control his tears, he couldn't speak and could only utter discordant syllables. Madam Pomfrey's scolding was an excuse for him to hide himself. He looked at Della who was still smiling at him with his big watery eyes and walked out of the infirmary, looking back every few steps.

Madam Pomfrey pushed Della back onto the bed. She carefully fed the slightly bitter potion into Della's mouth. "I'm so glad you woke up, Della."

As she spoke, she looked up at the girl who was cooperating with her actions obediently, "You always make people worry less, Della, this is very considerate, but I think if you have any difficulties, you can also come to me. You are still a child, you don't need to keep everything in your heart alone."

Della didn't understand why Madam Pomfrey said these words. She stared at the kind woman in front of her, not knowing what to say. Madam Pomfrey, who was wearing a white headscarf, was also looking at her. This dedicated doctor just sighed and touched Della's hair without saying anything more.

"You still need to rest now. I think I should be able to let your friends in in two days." Madam Pomfrey instructed Della. She looked at Della with loving eyes, gave a loving smile, and then left with the potion she brought.

"Haishi-Sha (She said you were unconscious for so long because you had a weak will to survive)."

Almost when the last piece of Madam Pomfrey's clothes was out of Della's sight, Maggie's low hissing sound came along with the friction, and in an instant it was wrapped around Della's arm and kept going up, "Hai-shiha-shashi (The boy has been discharged from the hospital. It doesn't matter. Nothing will bother you for a while, my girl)."

Della looked at the snake head that kept approaching her, and listened carefully to its low moaning. She didn't open her mouth until it wrapped around her neck. She responded in an inaudible voice, "Haha-Shahi (I know you have done a lot for me, maybe you can tell me something)."

"Hai--xi (There is a better way to show it, Della, go through the boy's memories and then destroy them, I need you to do this)." Maggie knew that Della had learned Legilimency and Visionary.

The unique gentleness of snakes was wrapped around her neck, and the bewitching snake head was almost touching her ears. Della looked at Harry, who was still unconscious on the bed opposite her, her slightly narrowed black eyes were obscure. She seemed to be hesitating, but her right hand had already grasped the wand beside the bed.

"Ha-sha-(if that's what you asked)."

Maggie's dark yellow eyes rolled up and down, looking down at everything happening in front of him. He watched Della raise her wand and listened to her whispering a spell. After a brief flash of white light, the wand in front of him dropped, and everything returned to calm.

"Hai - Xiha - Shaxi (This is my first time trying to absorb the divine consciousness and the sky. To be honest, I am also very interested in the other memories of the savior, but in order not to be rejected, I only read and destroyed the memories of that time. Those little guys are the reason why you are in the forbidden forest)?"

"Ha-Sha (Yes, Della, I originally wanted to kill Quirrell, but as you might imagine, Voldemort made preparations to take over other people's bodies, so I modified my original plan slightly)."

"Hayes (Even though I knew you were reliable, I never thought you could do this)."

"Haisa--hi (There is much more I can do, Della. I will tell you later. Now is not the time)."

Della stopped talking. She tilted her head slightly and stroked Maggie's neck, which felt so good. Her peripheral vision caught a glimpse of a bunch of slightly wilted daffodils by the bed. She reached out and stroked the white and smooth petals, her fingertips constantly running across the slightly hard lines in the middle of the petals.

"Haishi-ha-shashi (This bouquet of daffodils was brought by Malfoy's mother. The boy placed the flower pot at your bedside on the day he was discharged from the hospital. It has withered a little due to the lack of preservation magic in the past two days)."

Della seemed to hear a little sneer in the hissing sound, and a smile appeared on her face unconsciously. She grasped the wand again and whispered the spell, "Fresh recovery."

The bunch of daffodils became visibly alive, the drooping petals stood upright again, some water was shaken off, and a quiet fragrance came in waves, just like the arrogance displayed by Draco.

"I really don't know how he was raised like this." Della murmured softly. She withdrew her hand from the whiteness and lay back on the bed. "But this is what makes it interesting."

"Haishi——(I think, I need him now)"

She muttered quietly, and the empty infirmary was filled with that emotion.
