Chapter 75: Aryan's Teachings
Where would Percy be?
During the more than half a month that Della lived in the Weasley family, apart from doing group work, this Weasley was either reading or writing letters.
Then let's go to the library. It's time to do my homework.
Thinking of the unfinished homework, Della had a rare headache. She had been too careless this week, leaving all the homework for the weekend, and yesterday she just carried her bag all day without even taking out her books.
It was not until she arrived at the library that Della realized how huge the army of people doing homework was.
Are there usually so many people at this time?
Della thought carefully about the time when she often went to the library in her first year, and then she remembered that she basically practiced spells by herself in her dormitory on Sundays.
It seems that I have to be more diligent in doing my homework in the future.
Della thought so as she moved deeper into the library, close to the restricted dark arts area. There were about two or three rows of gloomy seats. Most of the time, there were only a few Slytherins sitting there. This was a small privilege that the rumors brought to Slytherin.
Choosing a spot in the corner, Della turned on the magic lamp provided in the library and took out the homework for this week one by one, forming a small pile of books.
It’s only the first week, and the professors are really rude.
Della picked out the Transfiguration homework first. She picked up the quill and leaned over the book in front of her.
After finishing your homework, walk around the library. If you don’t see Percy before lunch, go look for him after lunch.
When Della finished her Potions homework and wandered around the library for the third time, she still didn't see Percy, but found Aryan, who was frowning and reading a book in another corner.
"Senior Ailian—" Della called softly and walked to Ailian's side.
"Oh, Della-" Alian whispered, she raised her head, and quickly raised her hand to put a few strands of disobedient hair behind her head, "It's nice to see you, our little top student."
"How can you compare to your senior sister? You got 8 certificates in the OWL exam when you were in fifth grade." Della laughed softly.
"It's nothing, actually. Gryffindor's sixth-year prefect, Percy Weasley, has obtained 12 certificates. I think he will probably be the male student president next year." Aryan held Della's hands and smiled at her affectionately.
"Senior got Os in all eight subjects. She had a clear goal from the time she chose the courses, and has been working hard until now. It can be seen that she also wants to achieve good results in the upcoming NEWT exam." Following Arrian's movements, Della tilted her head slightly to look at her Transfiguration textbook which was full of annotations.
"This is actually just my luck. My parents both work at the Ministry of Magic." After pulling Della to sit next to him, Aryan paused for a moment and said, "What about Della? Is there anything she wants to do?"
"Hmm..." Della frowned and thought for a while, but she had no idea in her mind. "I have no idea at all. Now I only think about my life in school."
"After all, you are only a sophomore. It is too early to think about it now, but I don't think you need to think too much." As she said that, Alian raised her finger in front of Della and smiled slightly evilly, "Let the senior sister teach you a little more."
"Teaching? About dreams?" Della looked at Arrian pushing away the textbook at hand, and she tilted her head in confusion.
"No, it's about the future. These are two different concepts, Della." Alian still had a smile on her face, but this smile had some meaning that Della had never seen before. "Do you remember the conversation that Gino gave you in the first grade? That was actually an old-fashioned rhetoric, but it really worked."
"At that time, Gino first said that we were like brothers and sisters, and then specifically pointed out that we were one of the elites. What do you think about this, Della?" Alian looked at Della.
"......" Della's brows were still furrowed, and her mouth puffed up slightly, "I think that is the words that can ease the relationship and unite the internal forces."
"As for their function, you are right. I had not paid attention to these two sentences before talking to my father, but they are actually the seeds for creating an internal sense of identity. First it is warmth, then superiority, and finally it will develop into roots, roots built by interests and identity."
"Root vein...Senior, this sounds..." Della didn't finish the sentence, but the look she gave Ariane showed her understanding.
"If you are ambitious in pursuing power, it is actually an indispensable thing. I like what my father said, 'The wizarding world is not short of smart people, but only smart people who seize opportunities can be seen.'" Aryan looked into Della's black eyes seriously, "and Slytherin purifies opportunities, Della."
"..." Della responded to Aryan's gaze. She was not panicked at all, and the thick fog in her eyes dissipated in a few breaths. "Senior sister told me this because I am now adopted by Professor Snape."
"Della is really a Slytherin." Hearing Della's declarative tone, Aryan widened his smile. "I think that since we have the resources, we can make plans early, even if it's just a little more knowledge."
"My parents took me to the Ministry of Magic when I was young, so that I could conduct targeted research based on the information I got. This saved me a lot of effort. To exaggerate a little, I could get in as long as I met the minimum requirements. My current resume is just to better achieve my goal." Seeing Della's unchanged expression, Aryan's smile deepened. "To give an inappropriate example, Percy Weasley, judging from his 12 certificates, he obviously used diligence as a way to gain power."
"A smart person, but not a smart person." Della continued Arian's words.
"If he didn't have too many desires, he might be a smart person in his own eyes." Aryan laughed softly, but this laughter had nothing to do with the Gryffindor prefect. It was just an admiration for Della's quick understanding. "I'm not surprised. His father is from the Muggle office. According to my father, the people in that office are either fishermen or idealists."
"As for Muggle-related institutions, even half-blood wizards stay away from the Muggle world. In fact, the entire Ministry of Magic more or less maintains a sense of distance from Muggles. No matter what the slogan is, what is shown inside is the essence. Those idealists are mostly people who are obsessed with beautiful concepts. I think Percy Weasley also has the characteristics of his father."
This was not a good thing to say about the Weasley family, but Della couldn't refute it. The clever uses of Muggle items that added to the jokes during the summer vacation were now the best evidence for Arriane.
As long as you keep a distance that is neither too far nor too close, you will always feel fresh, and this freshness will continue to inject momentum into your ideals.
"Dela is now a smart person who sees things clearly." The smile on Aryan's face changed slightly, and she returned to her original gentle and majestic senior sister. "I look forward to your future, Dela."
"This is really a very useful teaching, Senior Alian." Della's black eyes looked at Alian, and she showed her usual obedient smile.
"You'll have more friends, Della."
Neither of them said everything clearly, but they both understood the meaning of this conversation.
