Chapter 77 Maggie's Day (1)

In the early morning, when the first ray of morning light shone through the lake onto the thick curtain of the snake's tail, Maggie opened his eyes. He curled up to rest and would first tilt his head to look at the light shining through the curtain. Then he would stretch out his snake body and slide lightly to the lounge to check today's weather board. When he returned to the dormitory, he would put today's items on the desk according to the class schedule.

The girl on the bed was still sleeping soundly. She had a good sleeping posture, and her usually gentle face looked even more holy at this moment.

Maggie looked up at the clock on the wall. It was still a quarter before half past six. He woke up a little earlier than usual today.

Is it because you feel guilty about doing something bad?

No, when did I define those things as bad things?

Maggie shook the snake's head, and he looked at the girl on the bed again. The slender snake tail unconsciously touched the mirror on the table. The fluctuations of the silent spell detected by it made him spit out bright red snake tongue continuously.

Dumbledore's influence on the girl was greater than he thought. Although the direction of the influence was not bad, it was still not very happy.

Della opened her eyes at half past six. She woke up earlier than usual today. After sitting up and looking at the clock, she threw off the quilt and got out of bed, saying good morning to Maggie.

After a simple wash, Della sat down at the desk. She was still in her pajamas. She glanced at the pile of books on the table with a slightly dejected look, then picked up the Potions book on the top and started reading.

The girl has always been a little grumpy when she wakes up, but she can usually suppress it. However, recently she has been ordered around by Snape, and she has to study Dumbledore's projects when she comes back.

Maggie had already started packing her schoolbag. In order to roll the books in more conveniently, she slightly enlarged her body. When she touched the books for Defense Against the Dark Arts, Della raised her head.

"You have to bring that popular novel this time. Lockhart has changed the way he teaches. He will randomly find someone to act with him." After saying that, she lowered her head again. The fulfilling days in recent days have reduced her tolerance for Lockhart.

Maggie paused in rolling the book, feeling a little dissatisfied. She didn't understand why Dumbledore would go against everyone's opinion and use such a person as a teacher.

Della read as usual until seven forty-five, then changed into her robe and put on her backpack, but this time she brought the spyglasses she had tinkered with.

In the lounge, Aryan, who was sitting on the sofa, waved to them warmly when she saw them coming out. They chatted all the way, and when they came out of the auditorium again, Maggie was on Aryan's shoulder.

This was not uncommon. Maggie was often with other people, and most of the time with members of Aryan's group. This week, Della had been taken by Aryan to see some people.

From Maggie's observation, that obscure and even deliberately separated group existed long before Aryan. This group accepted potential newcomers, trained new leaders, and has continued to exist to this day.

The team had no name, and there were no activities. Everyone just met and exchanged a few words. The roots that Aryan mentioned grew out of this tacit understanding. With such a deep-rooted group, Maggie understood a little of Aryan's arrogance.

But as far as he was concerned, it was still just playing house, but it was a good place to get information.

For example, there would be information about the direction of the wizarding world that the snake swarms could not bring, and of course, some gossip within the academy.

Most of the gossip during adolescence is about love, and occasionally you can hear some family secrets. True and false, false and true, but Maggie didn't take them seriously and just listened to them for fun.

I just didn't expect that fun could be so useful.

Noticing that Aryan's movements had paused, Maggie's cool snake tail gently rubbed her neck, causing her to chuckle, and she quickly immersed herself in her textbook.

This is a little trick of Maggie's as a snake. He knows when to be well-behaved and when to make what kind of jokes. That's why so many people like this little snake.

Unfortunately, Maggie has no feelings in this regard, and even these skills are just some incidental behaviors.

Aryan's Tuesdays were usually not so busy, as she only had one Transfiguration class in the morning. After class, she would often ask her Ravenclaw friend Eloda Majoor to sit on the grass outside the castle. Before, they would chat in the sun, but now they would play with Maggie under the shade of the trees.

The important thing is that Eloda has a good relationship with Penelope Clearwater, the fifth-year head of Ravenclaw, and Penelope is the girlfriend of Percy Weasley.

The two are still in a secret relationship, but Eloda and Aryan have noticed something, not to mention that Maggie and Aryan witnessed them coming out of an empty classroom together.

Originally, this discovery did not cause any ripples in Maggie's heart. Even if she told Della about it, she would probably only say "Oh" from her. Maggie knew her. She was not interested in information that was not related to her surroundings, and she was not someone who liked to joke about these things.

It was all because of me being so careless this time that Della happened to be the one who discovered something was wrong.

Maggie had been observing Ginny for a week since that night, and with the increasingly familiar scent on the child, he was sure that the thing had come in again, but it seemed a little different, so he decided to wait and see.

Then, there must be a result beforehand from the last time.

While Maggie was absent-mindedly playing with the two seventh-grade girls, a clear call came from afar.

"Senior!" Penelope, who was being called by Maggie, waved at them and ran towards them. Her long brown curly hair swayed with her movements, and her pretty little face looked even better against the blush.

Alian and Eloda looked at each other, and a little bit of anxiety flashed in each other's eyes. When Penelope came over, Eloda took out her pocket watch, pointed at the minute hand, and said bluntly, "You are a quarter of an hour later than usual!"

"Senior!" Penelope's face turned even redder. She pursed her lips in embarrassment, then quickly sat down next to Eloda with a shy smile.

The so-called secret love affair is actually not a secret at all.

Maggie complained for once, and then he was sent to Penelope with his arm around hers. "Come on, our heartthrob, you came here just for Maggie."

"Hehe." Penelope was not polite either. She had already leaned on Eloda. After being taken over by Penelope, Maggie deliberately used her snake tail to hook Eloda's black hair, causing the three girls to laugh again.

Maggie, who was at the center of the laughter, was actually still absent-minded, but his snake face did not reveal any emotion. At this moment, he was calculating the time, waiting for the group of first years to come.

Ginny and her friends will have their flying lesson soon. Maggie has already set up the scene and invited the actors, and they are just waiting for the show to begin.
