Ollivanders is not far from the entrance of Diagon Alley, basically just around the corner.
Looking at the small, shabby shop, Ron's eyes became more and more excited.
But just as he was about to go inside, Fred walked in first.
He lowered his head, as if thinking about something.
"Be careful, Fred!" Ron warned with difficulty: "You are going in the wrong direction, that is not...the door"
"boom!"
Before Ron could finish his words, Fred bumped heavily into the window.
"Oh damn, why is this store so dirty."
Fred dusted himself off and said angrily, "If I had known I wouldn't have worn the robe today. This is a new one."
George also went up to help.
The two took pictures for a long time, but the robe still looked dirty and gray.
"Fred, you are so careless." George exclaimed exaggeratedly, "Mom will definitely scold you when she sees you."
"I can't help it. It's too dirty here. I feel like the dust here is hundreds of years old."
Kyle walked over and said seriously: "But I think you can go to Ollivander for compensation.
Remember my roommate Mikel? He also soiled his new robe at the pet store last year, and the clerk there gave him an extra portion of pet food. "
"Too bad...we're not buying wands."
Fred looked a little regretful. "Otherwise, I would have gone to Ollivander anyway and asked him to give me an extra wand care set."
"Yeah, that's a shame." George shook his head and said, "The maintenance kit costs seven Sickles."
"There's nothing we can do about it." Fred sighed and said, "Forget it, take little Ron in first."
"it is good……"
George nodded, then opened the door of Ollivander's and walked in.
"Little Ron, come here quickly."
Ron seemed to be thinking about something before, but when he heard George's voice, he hurried over.
But Kyle noticed that he deliberately rubbed against the door frame when he entered.
"Well, did he believe it?"
Fred asked eagerly once the two of them had left.
“I think I believe it.”
Kyle took out his wand and pointed it at Fred's robes.
"Cleaned up."
In an instant, all the dust disappeared.
(End of this chapter)
Chapter 133 Professor Snape, are you taking your children shopping?
"Ha, a cleansing spell."
Fred looked at his brand new robes and sighed quietly, "Mom uses this spell three times almost every day. Why can't Ron remember it?"
"Who knows?" Kyle shrugged.
His previous plan was originally a temporary one and was full of loopholes.
The biggest problem was the cleansing spell, which was the main reason why Fred and George thought Ron would not be fooled.
In wizarding families, this spell was one of the most commonly used household magics, and they thought it was impossible that Ron didn't know it.
Kyle thought so too.
In fact, when he saw Ron's cautious look in the Leaky Cauldron, he had already begun to consider whether to let Ron go.
But now that we are here... it would not be good to do nothing.
So he came up with this idea to reduce the difficulty for Ron to the lowest level.
Otherwise, he could just ask Ron directly. Given Ron's desire for a new wand, he believed he would not refuse.
Kyle's idea was simple: as long as Ron said, "Why don't you use the cleansing spell?", he would give up all his plans and directly pay for the wand.
But…Ron didn’t.
Not only that, he even believed it!
outrageous.
"Olivander seems to have come out..."
Fred raised his eyebrows and said, "Let's go in quickly. I can't wait to see the show."
"Hey, is that okay?" Kyle teased, "Ron is your brother."
"Thanks for your reminder, otherwise I would have almost forgotten."
Fred smiled slyly, then opened the door and walked in.
Just as Kyle was about to catch up, he suddenly noticed a familiar face around the corner.
A black cloak fluttered in the wind, his greasy hair shone slightly, and his sinister eyes looked around. He looked like a giant bat walking in the dark, out of tune with the lively atmosphere around him.
And there seemed to be someone following behind him, but his face was blocked by the robe, so only a pair of short legs could be seen.
"Long time no see, Professor Snape."
When the other party came over, Kyle was the first to greet him: "What a coincidence, Professor, you are here with your daughter... Oh, it's Kanna."
When they got closer, Kyle realized that the person following Snape was Connor.
The corner of Snape's eye twitched, as if he had been force-fed a dung egg, and his face instantly turned gloomy.
"Don't talk nonsense, Kyle." Connor leaned out and said, "Uncle Snape hasn't..."
"Shut up, Kanna!"
The little girl was interrupted by Snape before she could finish her words.
A strange look flashed in Kyle's eyes, and he noticed that Connor's way of addressing Snape had changed.
But before he could think more, he heard Snape's voice with a hint of mockery.
"Why are you here, Ollivander... Is your wand broken?"
"Not really, Professor. I take good care of my wand."
Kyle said without changing his expression, "I came here with Fred and George to help their little brother buy a new wand.
Ron Weasley, also a freshman this year."
Snape looked disappointed.
"Also, I want to buy some potion materials." Kyle continued, "I can't wait to take your potion class."
"Huh~~"
Snape made a series of short, meaningless sounds and his expression became even uglier, as if he had been fed a second ball of dung.
But for some reason, he endured it, just looked at Kyle thoughtfully and said nothing.
"Let's go, Kanna."
Snape didn't look at Kyle again, turned around and continued walking forward.
Kanna obviously wanted to stay a little longer. Too many bizarre things happened around her this summer. The experience in just two months was more exciting than her previous two years.
She wanted so badly to share it with Kyle.
But Snape didn't think so. He looked at Kyle with some disgust, grabbed Connor's collar without saying a word, and dragged her away.
Kanna kept gesturing, but he was not moved at all. She even said bluntly, "Don't get in touch with Kyle in the future. He is not a good person."
Kyle watched them turn into the nearby Crucible Shop before turning around and walking into Ollivander's Wand Shop.
Kyle originally thought he would miss the most exciting scene because of being delayed by Snape, but as soon as he entered the door, he heard Ollivander's somewhat hurried voice.
"The store never gives away wand maintenance kits. You have to buy them separately."
"I remember you are from the Weasley family, why don't you even know the cleansing spell?"
At this time, the dust that Ron had deliberately rubbed off on his arm had disappeared. He stood there with a red face, lowering his head and searching for something on the ground.
Kyle thought he was looking for a crack in the ground.
"As for why I didn't clean..."
Ollivander paused, then said calmly, "This is for the balance of the grey magic. The dust can isolate the magic and protect the wands in the store from being affected by the magic from the outside world.
The things involved are very complicated, and only we, the staff makers, understand them. You won’t understand even if I tell you!”
"So... which hand do you use your wand in?!"
Ron stretched out his right hand tremblingly.
Then a tape measure flew over the counter and began to be roughly measured against his body.
Beside them, Fred and George lowered their heads, covered their stomachs with their hands, and trembled all over.
If Ollivander hadn't been there, they would have laughed themselves into laughter.
After measuring the body's data, it was time to try out the wand. For Ron, the process was not smooth.
When he tried the seventh...or maybe the eighth wand, Ron felt very repulsive to it. As soon as he held it in his hand, a stream of water spurted out from the tip of the wand and poured all over him.
This also caused him to be soaked all over and he shivered when the wind blew.
……
An hour later…the boxes on the counter were almost piled up into a mountain.
George and Kyle sat cross-legged next to them, playing wizard chess out of boredom. Fred watched the game and expressed his opinions from time to time.
