"What's wrong."
Kyle looked in the direction of his finger, and then suddenly froze.
He discovered that there was no hook in the fish's mouth, and the reason it was caught was because it was tied.
The thin spider silk fishing line was wrapped around it twice and finally tied into a beautiful bow to secure it.
"Kyle..." Fred asked uncertainly, "Does the fishing rod you made have automatic knot-tying magic?"
"How is that possible!" Kyle said unhappily.
It's just fishing to kill time, why bother with so much trouble? Automatic knot tying... He has never even heard of such magic.
In fact, after seeing the tightly tied fish, Kyle probably guessed what was going on.
The giant squid in the Black Lagoon, or maybe a mermaid...
This broadback fish was most likely manually tied to a fishing line made of spider silk by one of them and then sent over.
As if to verify his guess, soon, other people's fishing rods also started to move.
When they were pulled up, they were all tied up broadback fish.
Kyle looked a little grim.
What does that mean? Even though they didn't catch anything for over an hour, giving them fish... was a bit too much.

Chapter 168: One Thousand Parchments
Kyle has become busy since joining the Quidditch team.
He now has to attend classes and read in the library during the day, and go to the banned section to copy books at night. The little time he finally squeezes out is all spent on homework.
The second-year students already have a lot more homework than last year, and the professors seemed to have agreed that starting last week, the length requirement for their homework would be changed from inches to feet.
Plus, Quidditch training three nights a week also took up a lot of his time.
Harris is very strict in this regard. Each training session must be at least three hours, and students cannot return until before curfew.
However, after several training sessions, the cooperation between Kyle and his teammates has become more and more tacit.
Just today, he and Harris were able to skillfully use two-way offensive tactics.
This is a classic Quidditch tactic invented by the Wimbourne Wasps, a modified version of the Hawk's Head attack formation.
Two Chasers fly towards the middle goal post at the same time and pass the ball frequently. Once they reach the scoring area, they quickly separate to both sides to disrupt the goalkeeper's judgment.
After the training match, Kyle and Harris scored a total of 60 goals. The Hufflepuff goalkeeper was almost doubting his life and was carried back to the dormitory by the others with a dull look in his eyes.
"Cheer up, Ferro, you are already one of the best goalkeepers in the school. Just think about it, if you can't catch the ball, no one else can catch it!"
Harris lifted Ferro's right leg and said with a flushed face: "Our names will be engraved on the Quidditch Cup again this year, I promise!
"Hahaha...why isn't November yet? I can't wait to start competing."
The group returned to the castle in a mighty procession, and Kyle followed them with his broom.
When they passed the door of the auditorium, they happened to meet Fred and George coming down from upstairs in the castle.
The pockets of both men were bulging, as if they were full of things.
After Harris and the others walked away, Cedric raised his eyebrows and asked in a low voice: "Curfew is about to begin, are you guys going out for a night out?"
"No, we just came back from Hogsmeade and were going to the kitchen to get some midnight snacks." George patted his bulging pockets and smiled, "Zonko's latest product. I bought it before they closed."
"You know, it's for our lovely brother." Fred blinked and handed a leather bag to Kyle.
"This is what you want."
"Thank you." Kyle took it.
Fred glanced at him and asked excitedly, "So, do you have any new ideas for making money recently? Tell us about it."
"What?" Kyle didn't quite understand what Fred meant.
He has been so busy these days that he hasn't even been to the flower garden. How could he have the time to study some new ideas to make money?
"Stop pretending. What secrets are you keeping from us?" George said unhappily. "If you didn't have any new ideas, why did you buy so much parchment?"
"Don't even mention making maps. Almost a month has passed since the map was sold."
Fred put his arm around Kyle's shoulders and said, "I'm very smart, don't try to fool me." "If you don't have any new ideas, how can you buy a thousand sheets of parchment?"
"A thousand sheets! The stock at Wenrenju is almost not enough."
"Not enough stock?"
Kyle opened his own lizard skin bag and soon saw piles of parchment inside, but he had no idea how many sheets there were.
"Forget it. I'm not in a hurry to use it. It doesn't matter if I have less."
"It's almost not enough." Fred said with a smile: "There are 1,063 tickets in here, and the extra ones are extra gifts."
"That's all. We've helped Wenrenju to move up its closing time by twenty minutes today."
"Okay, after talking so much, you should tell us what the plan is."
Fred stroked his chin and guessed, "As for the parchment, could it be a map of the secret passage? Or are you going to provide the answers to the homework for a fee?"
"neither!"
Kyle shook his head and said, "I really just bought this for my own use."
"Don't be ridiculous. This is a thousand sheets of parchment. You won't need so much if you're just doing homework.
Cedric, do you need a thousand sheets of parchment a term?"
Cedric immediately shook his head.
To be honest, a thousand sheets of parchment would be enough for him to use for seven years.
"I know it's hard for you to believe, but it's true."
Kyle thought for a moment and said, "I'm copying some things recently and need a lot of parchment, that's all."
Seeing Kyle's serious look, Fred and George were no longer as persistent as they were at the beginning.
"you sure?"
"Of course." Kyle shrugged and said, "And I can promise that if I lie to you, Cedric will start losing his hair starting this year."
"Hey, what does this have to do with me!"
Cedric glared at Kyle in disapproval.
"Don't be so stingy." Kyle said nonchalantly, "Don't you believe me?"
"This is not the same thing!" Cedric said helplessly.
His father, Mr. Diggory, had hair problems, and he didn't want to become like that now.
After Kyle said that, Fred and George dispelled the last bit of doubt in their hearts.
Yeah, there was no reason for Kyle to lie to them.
Both of them looked a little disappointed, turned dejectedly, and walked towards Gryffindor Tower.
Along the way, they were all excitedly guessing Kyle's new plan, and were even ready to do a big job.
In the end, they found out that there was no such plan at all, and it was all just their wishful thinking.
This sense of disparity was hard for the two to accept.
"You're in the wrong place." Cedric reminded, "You should go downstairs to the kitchen."
"Thanks, but we suddenly don't feel that hungry now."
"And I don't want to eat anything."
……
After the twins left, Cedric scratched his hair and asked in confusion, "What happened to them?"
Kyle shook his head, "Who knows, maybe puberty is the beginning."
"What period?"
"Nothing, curfew is about to start, let's go back."
"Ok."
Late at night, after Kyle and his roommates fell asleep, he quietly got up and left the dormitory, and went to the library as usual.
Kyle walked straight to the third bookshelf in the restricted area, opened the leather bag, took out a shorthand quill and a stack of parchment with ease, and placed them on the nearest table.
"Lumos!"
Kyle then lit up his wand, took a carefully selected book, and sat down to read it.

Chapter 169 Armored Pumpkin
This busy life continued until Halloween Eve.
Kyle woke up early in the morning and smelled the sweet and tempting smell of roasted pumpkin wafting through the corridor. Even better, Harris announced in the common room that Quidditch practice for the next week was cancelled.
He thought the previous training was a bit too strenuous, and since Kyle and another new team member had performed perfectly, he decided to give everyone a break before the official competition.
Kyle was naturally very happy about Harris' decision, which meant that he could finally relax a little next week.
And I don’t know if it’s to cater to Halloween, but there are a lot more pumpkins in the classroom.
In the Transfiguration class in the morning, Professor McGonagall used pumpkins as props and asked the little wizards to try to transform them.
Her request today was very simple. It didn't matter if it turned into anything, as long as it wasn't a pumpkin in the end.
Kyle was still the first to finish. He turned the pumpkin into a stone statue at the castle gate.
Of course, it's a smaller version.
The stone statue took two slow steps on the table, then swung the giant sword in its hand and smashed the prop pumpkin on Kanna's table into two halves, with pumpkin seeds scattered everywhere.
