Mrs. Weasley had just prepared breakfast of corned beef sandwiches and fried potatoes.
Percy did not come down to eat immediately. After taking two sandwiches, he hurried upstairs to study the classics.
Kyle sat down next to Ron... who was struggling with a piece of corned beef, his whole face almost wrinkled.
"You're back, Kyle."
Fred on the other side rubbed his chin and asked, "What did you buy in Diagon Alley?"
"Dragon blood."
Kyle took out the small bottle, and suddenly there was a faint fishy smell around.
"Oh, this smells disgusting." George pinched his nose, "Put it away quickly!"
Kyle shrugged. There was nothing he could do. Fresh dragon blood was like that. Besides, the bottle provided by the pharmacy was very ordinary. Its sealing could only ensure that it would not leak.
After putting the dragon blood back into the leather bag, the fishy smell around it became much lighter.
"Dragon blood is not cheap." Fred asked, "Are you going to make some potion?"
"No, I have other uses." Kyle shook his head. "By the way, did I show you the parchment?"
"Speaking of this..." Fred suddenly stood up excitedly, "Kyle, you are really a genius!"
"The magic formula you gave me is amazing!"
George pushed a whole plate of corned beef sandwiches in front of Kyle. "Just a small change, all the problems are solved. The magic wand is a great success!"
"Don't tell me you were talking about those magic tricks again..."
At this moment, Mrs. Weasley came over with a plate of sausages and gave Fred and George a sullen look.
"No, Mom!"
George hastily explained, "We are discussing ancient runes."
"Yes."
Fred also took out a piece of parchment with various symbols and formulas written on it. "We are studying the practical application of magic runes. This is the homework assigned by Professor Babeling."
Mrs. Weasley took a quick look and saw that the parchment was indeed written with magic words, and there were also large sections of the twins' handwriting.
"Sorry, Fred… and George."
Mrs. Weasley filled their plates with sausages.
Fred winked at Kyle.
"It's okay...but Mom, I'm George!"
Kyle smiled and took a bite of his sandwich.
I have to say, the corned beef made by Mrs. Weasley is really dry and hard... almost like air-dried beef.
But it still tastes good.
After breakfast, Fred came and took out his broomstick:
"Kyle, how about we play Quidditch later?"
"Cedric is back, so we can have a house battle."
Kyle glanced at them and decisively refused. Wow, there were a whole room of Gryffindors. Although Ginny had not been sorted yet, she probably couldn't escape.
It's five against two, and there are three real team players among them. Only a fool would play a college battle with them.
"At worst, I can give Ginny to you." George said generously, "She hasn't been sorted yet, so it doesn't matter where she goes."
"Plus Harry," Kyle said.
"Don't even think about it..."
"let it go!"
After decisively rejecting this unfair competition, Kyle left the Burrow.
Originally, he wanted to go back to Riddle for some extra lessons. After all, he had already bought the "Dragon Blood Membership" and it couldn't be wasted.
……
But the idea ultimately failed to materialize.
It had nothing to do with Fred and the others. The main thing was that Kyle had just returned to the room when a large fiery red bird suddenly flew in and landed on his shoulder.
"Fox?"
Kyle looked at the phoenix on his shoulder in surprise.
"How did you come?"
Fawkes shook his tail feathers and threw a box in front of Kyle... the one he gave to Dumbledore before the holiday.
"You delivered it?"
Kyle immediately forgot about Riddle and excitedly picked up the box, looking it up and down.
"Thank you, Fawkes. Where's Professor Dumbledore?" Kyle said casually while checking the box.
It would have been fine if he didn't ask, but when he did, Fox got angry instantly.
It let out a sharp cry and flapped its wings continuously, as if it was gesturing something.
"You mean, he wanted to go to Austria alone to attend the magic conference... that's why he sent you to deliver something to me?"
Kyle frowned slightly as he listened to Fox's words. If he remembered correctly, Nurmengard... seemed to be near Austria...
Fox nodded and continued flapping his wings angrily, as if he was denouncing some old, fickle, scumbag.
But this made Kyle suffer. It must be said that it was quite painful when the phoenix's wings hit his body.
Kyle quickly took out a handful of herbs and comforted her: "It's okay, don't be angry, eat something first, they are all fresh herbs... I tell you, it's not worth it for you to be angry for that kind of person, he..."

Chapter 264 Phoenix's Way of Travel
After some persuasion from Kyle and some soothing from a handful of fresh herbs, Fox gradually calmed down.
While it was turning its anger and grief into appetite and concentrating on eating the herbs, Kyle couldn't help but reach out and rub the feathers on its neck.
This was Kyle's first time to pet a phoenix properly... How should I put it? The feathers were a bit hard, not as fluffy and soft as an owl's, but they felt very good.
It was smooth and slightly warm, and felt like gold galleons just taken out of the vault.
After eating the herbs, Fox spread his wings and flew towards the window.
Kyle thought it was preparing to go back.
But unexpectedly, Fox just flew to the windowsill and stopped, then landed next to Rodan, folded its wings and began to take a nap, looking like someone who was sleepy after a full meal.
Rodan, who was sleeping soundly, was suddenly awakened. He tilted his head to look at the uninvited guest, and the feathers on his neck stood up all of a sudden.
It raised its paw and moved to the side without saying a word, giving Fox more space.
Kyle looked at Laton expressionlessly, then curled his lips in disdain.
This silly bird, when it is in a bad mood, it will chase after other owls and beat them up even if they just look at it.
Why are you so cowardly now?
As if he understood Kyle's look...Ladon turned his head silently and chose to ignore it.
It also wants to be tough, but it has red hair all over its body and looks like it is not someone that is easy to mess with... It is better to keep out of trouble, so just endure it.
The two birds stood on the windowsill, one on the left and one on the right, looking surprisingly harmonious.
Kyle sat down at the table and glanced obscurely at the box not far away.
Judging from Fox's appearance, he probably won't be going back in the short term... With it around, I definitely can't ask Riddle for extra lessons anymore.
Although the Phoenix may not be able to recognize the Horcrux, what if?
And if it knew it, it would be equivalent to Dumbledore knowing it.
Although Kyle said that he would give the diary to Dumbledore, he would wait until it was no longer useful, at least not now.
But if I don’t take tutoring classes, it seems like there’s nothing to do.
Phoenix doesn't like crowded places and will definitely not go outside with him to play Quidditch, but Kyle is worried about leaving it alone at home.
You can't just stay in your room and read the magic formula all day.
Now that he had passed the initial initial stage of his study of magic runes, without Riddle's help, his efficiency was too low if he only relied on reading books on his own, which was somewhat of a waste of time.
As he was thinking about it, Kyle accidentally glanced at the box next to him.
After thinking for a moment, he walked to the windowsill.
"Fox, how about I take you out to relax?"
Fox opened his eyes.
"Newt Scamander... I think you know where he lives." Kyle asked.
Fox nodded.
Basically, it knows everything that Dumbledore knows, otherwise it would not have been sent to deliver a letter to Nicolas Flamel.
Newt's place is no exception.
"That's good." Kyle said, "How about you take me there?"
Fox looked Kyle up and down, hesitant.
Kyle thought it didn't want to go, so he quickly held up two fingers.
"Two straw mantles and a bubble pod."
This time, Fox didn't hesitate at all. He flew to Kyle's shoulder without saying a word, and then let out a chirp with some expectation.
"Wait a mininute."
Kyle quickly picked up the suitcase and stuffed his prepared luggage and the box into it. "Okay, no problem now..."
Before he finished speaking, Kyle disappeared from the room in an instant, accompanied by a flash of flaming light.
