Chapter 254 Meeting old friends

Early in the morning, Della and Leah packed up and prepared to set off. Leah wore a vest and comfortable pants as usual, because Della gave her a pair of sunglasses yesterday. She also wore a V-neck vest, which was one of the few in her closet. The sunglasses just fit right at the neckline. She put on knee pads and a leather jacket, looking like a biker.

"You look so cool, Leah." Della looked up and down at Leah, who looked even more stylish sitting on the motorcycle, and praised her sincerely. In order to ride the motorcycle, she tied her hair into a high ponytail and chose a casual women's suit. It was a bit loose at first, but after she tied a small vest around her upper body, her whole spirit was lifted.

"We're just getting started," Leah laughed. She started the engine, put on her helmet as the engine hummed, and waved for Della to get on. "Wait until I ride, and you'll know what cool is."

Della climbed onto the back seat, holding onto the car body that was shaking slightly with the engine. She put her hands across Leah's body and hugged her thin waist and abdomen tightly. At the same time, she cast a series of wind and cold protection spells on herself. Then, when Leah turned her head and asked her if she was ready, she hugged her even tighter.

The buzzing sound beneath her body suddenly became louder, and as Leah made a small turn, Della felt her body turn as well, just like riding a roller coaster, after this gentle small turn was the thrill of climbing to the top.

Leah turned the speed to the highest level and sped off on her motorcycle.

Della's high ponytail, which she rarely tied up, was blown away by the wind whistling past her ears, and her silky black hair tangled and fluttered in the air.

"Fuck! It's so cool!" Before they even reached the suburbs where they could take off, Leah was already enjoying the unprecedented speed. The dotted lines and obstacle markings on the map that only she could see appeared on the black visor of her helmet, making her even happier.

When they rode to the suburbs, Leah flipped on the floating, acceleration and stealth switches with one hand, then stepped on the accelerator to full throttle, riding happily in the air. When she was in high spirits, she even shouted and tried some tricks, and drove all the way to the destination at lightning speed.

Boom-boom-boom-

"Good morning, Basil--" Arthur, who was greeting a colleague in a palm skirt, was attracted by the roar above his head. The colleague in front of him who was registering him and the children behind him also looked up at the motorcycle speeding past in the sky. In the blink of an eye, there was only a track of clouds in front of them.

"That's..." Stunned Ron subconsciously poked Harry next to him.

"Motorcycle." Harry, who was poked, answered mechanically without really coming to his senses.

"Wow, so cool..." Fred and George shouted in amazement.

"A motorcycle flying in the sky that can be seen!" Hermione was the fastest to react. She immediately exclaimed, "This is totally against the rules!"

"But we're on the Quidditch pitch, why should that matter?" Ron retorted, already imagining himself riding a fancy motorcycle.

"There are Muggles in the grounds!" Basil, who was wearing a palm skirt, half-shouted to correct Ron's point. His already tired face became even more impatient, and he muttered to himself, "They are all idiots who come here without doing their homework. It's because everyone is like this that there are so many things..."

He complained while searching for the Weasley family's name on the parchment. Suddenly, Basil's fingers stopped sliding on the parchment. He opened his eyes wide, and his trembling body unconsciously leaned towards the parchment in his hand. He looked at the traces left by the motorcycle in the air in disbelief, "She-she's back..."

"What?" Arthur, who was closest to Basil, frowned. He took two steps closer to his colleague with concern. "What's wrong with you, Basil?"

"Della Riddle, motorcycle driver, 5:10!" Basil dropped the parchment in his hand. He looked panic-stricken and shook Arthur. "She broke through Savior's curse and is back!!!"

"What?" Arthur's eyes widened when he heard Della's name and he didn't react.

"Della!" Harry's short cry was particularly prominent among the crowd's exclamations. He walked over and picked up the parchment that had fallen on the ground. His heart was beating fast with excitement. He tried his best to control his trembling fingers and searched for Della's name. "Riddle... Riddle... Here! The first field!"

"Weasley is also in the first field!" Hermione, who was standing next to Harry, saw the name Weasley and immediately added.

"Come on, Uncle Basil!" Ron shouted, jumping in front of Basil. "Where's the first field?!"

"Go forward about a quarter of a mile..." Basil raised his hand habitually and pointed in a direction. Then he suddenly reacted and grabbed Ron who was about to run away. However, the group of children behind him ran far away before he could say anything. Ron also broke free, leaving him behind shouting, "This can be adjusted! Why did you have to go over there!"

"Sorry, Basil," Arthur hurriedly picked up the parchment that Harry had thrown on the ground and handed it to Basil. He casually patted Diggory's arm to indicate that he had to go first, and then ran after the child, "I'm leaving first!"

Harry, who was running in the front, was breathing heavily. The chilly moisture in the early morning was evaporated by the heat on his face and condensed on his black hair which could never be combed neatly. He ran forward desperately, with the whistling sound of the wind in his ears and heart. When he saw the familiar upright figure of the girl in the distance, his subconscious mind returned the most important information to him - the Daily Prophet had reported that it was he who revealed Della's identity.

Would Della also think that he was the one who informed on her?

But truth serum aside, he had said it, and Della had told him about Parseltongue so openly and kindly before.

Logically speaking, it was Della who shared the secret with him, and he did not keep it.

Harry felt pain again. His original pure enthusiasm and joy were instantly replaced by timidity and guilt. He kept running but suddenly lost strength under his feet and almost stopped.

It was not known whether it was fortunate or unfortunate, but when he was three meters away from Della, the panic in his heart rose, and the word Della in his throat was about to come out, there was a "bang", and silver flames rose from under his feet. The silver flames were not scorching, but they erected a barrier to isolate Harry from his panic.

"Keep your distance." Leah still had a cigarette in her left hand, and her right hand, which was used to shoot, turned the revolver that Della had modified for her. The breeze blew up her half-long brown hair that was crushed by her helmet on the road, and her condescending expression made her look even more flamboyant.

"Della!" "Della!!" Everyone couldn't help but shout Della's name, and they all looked angrily at Leah who was leaning against a motorcycle and smoking as if nothing had happened.

Fred and George's eyes were filled with anger at first, but when they saw Leah's uninhibited temperament, they soon became amazed and appreciative. However, when their eyes touched Leah's collar where she wore sunglasses, Fred's eyes widened slightly, while George turned his face away embarrassedly.

"What a coincidence..." Della raised her right eye slightly. She didn't expect to run into so many acquaintances while waiting for Annika to pick her up. She looked at the anxious looks on her friends' faces, and her heart felt warm for a moment, but she didn't show it on her face at all. She even restrained herself from even showing her usual polite smile.

Hermione noticed this, and she felt that there was a terrible indifference in Della's expressionless calm at the moment.

Under the anxious gaze of everyone, Della suddenly said "Oh!" as if she had suddenly realized something. It seemed that she had just noticed the existence of the silver barrier that separated her friends. She finally smiled, but she only uttered a simple apology, "Forgive me, my bodyguard is always overprotective."

Harry looked at Della's smile at this moment, and his heart sank suddenly. He felt Della's alienation.

Leah flicked the cigarette in her hand and noticed a figure rushing over from the left. She listened to Della's words and shouted to the students in her eyes, "Please forgive me." Apart from these perfunctory words, she did not make any substantial actions like Della.

"Hey! Miss Iron Knight!" Fred shouted to Leah, "I won't forgive you just because you apologize!"

"Yes!" George echoed, "It's a great sin to keep us from our friends!"

"You won't forgive me? You're guilty of a heinous crime?" Leah spread her hands and shrugged, looking nonchalant. "Okay, come on, take me to jail."

"Miss Riddle!" Annika finally arrived at this moment. She shouted on the spot when she was still a few meters away. She almost flew to Della's side and excitedly shook Della's hand. "I'm so glad to see you again!"

"Why don't you protect me now!" Ron shouted at Leah angrily, then looked at Della, "Della! We have to talk!"

"We've been trying to contact you, Della." Hermione pursed her lips and looked very sad.

"I have something to tell you too, Della." Harry looked at Della with sad green eyes and said sincerely.

"..." Della held Annika's hand, her eyes wandering across their faces, not missing a single expression from her old friends. Finally, she turned around expressionlessly, leaving only a cold sentence, "We will have plenty of opportunities to communicate in the future, Harry."

Leah looked at the two black-haired girls who had already walked to the left, and then at the group of children on the other side of the barrier whose eyes were a little red as if they had suffered a major blow. She put away her gun, flicked her cigarette, and slowly said "Don't shout" to stop the children from asking questions that were about to come out of their mouths. Then she waved her hand, and the silver chain on her hand flashed in Harry and the others' eyes in the morning light.

While subconsciously avoiding the gazes, they caught a glimpse of the motorcycle getting smaller and deformed, and finally became a light silver armband on the left arm of the arrogant female bodyguard.

"So obedient?" After putting away the motorcycle, Leah turned her head to look at the quiet Harry and the others while picking up her sunglasses with one hand and putting them on. She firmly grasped the temperament of her most stylish bodyguard. She waved her hand handsomely and left, "The barrier will be gone in a while. Enjoy the game tonight, kids."

"Hey! Miss Iron Knight! What's your name?" Fred suddenly slapped the barrier and shouted. Ron looked at his brother in surprise for asking this question in such a situation, and Ginny frowned.

"Anyway, don't call me kid." Leah didn't even turn her head and slowly walked away.

"What are you doing, Fred?" George looked at Leah's back and poked his twin brother.

"There has to be some gain, right?" Fred spread his hands and said as a matter of course.

"..." Except for Harry who was preoccupied, everyone present glanced at Fred in silence.

"Hoo--hoo--" At this moment, the middle-aged Arthur finally caught up with his children, panting. "He put his hand on George's shoulder and asked breathlessly, "How is it--Is it Della?"

"That's true. There is no lady more cruel than her." Fred poked Arthur and pointed his father to look at the cold and ruthless barrier. "The guards around the lady are also very fierce."

"Miss? Guard? What are you talking about, Fred?" Arthur didn't quite understand. He walked to the barrier which was getting lighter and lighter. As soon as he touched it, the silver barrier turned into light and shadow and shattered. "What is this?" Arthur frowned, even more confused.

"Huh?" Seeing the apparently indestructible barrier shattered in an instant, Fred's eyes widened, and he and George next to him looked at each other tacitly, "That thing can't be used to protect against ghosts? Are we really ghosts?"

"Don't drag me into this. I didn't knock on that thing to ask for anyone's name." George didn't intend to share the joys and sorrows with his brother on this matter. He shook his head and started to insult Fred, but was immediately given a cold stare.
