"Ministry of Magic Order

Customers please note that unless otherwise notified, Dementors will patrol the streets of Hogsmeade every day at sunset. This measure is to protect the safety of residents and will not be lifted until Sirius Black is arrested...

Merry Christmas! "

Kyle also saw what was on the notice.

It seems that the Ministry of Magic must have received some news and transferred most of the Dementors here.

Too bad it wasn't very useful... If Kyle was right, Black should have been out of Hogsmeade long ago.

Others didn't care either.

The notice clearly stated that Dementors would only patrol the streets at sunset, and it was still daytime now.

Qiu pushed open the door of the teahouse.

It was really small, with just a few small round tables, and it was so foggy inside that it seemed as if everything was decorated with ruffles and bows.

Because the table was too small, they could only sit separately in two adjacent empty seats.

"What would you like to order?" Mrs Puddifoot asked as she came over.

She was a little plump, with a shiny black bun, and she squeezed in between two tables with difficulty.

"Four cups of milk-jelly coffee, thank you." Qiu seemed to have done her homework in advance. After Mrs. Puddifu left, she explained in a low voice: "Penelope said this is the best."

Kanna, who had been looking forward to this place before, now had a red face and obviously noticed the strangeness in the teahouse.

There are couples here, holding hands.

But now that she was there, she still sat down next to Kyle with a blushing face.

Mrs. Puddifoot soon arrived with four cups floating in the air.

A layer of white jelly is spread on the brown coffee, which looks pretty good.

Kyle took a tentative sip and then put the cup down.

For a moment, he wondered if Mrs. Puddifoot was secretly in love with Dumbledore.

This coffee is blended entirely according to the principal's taste.

It was as sweet as a cup of pure syrup, and he couldn't taste any coffee flavor at all.

Even the slight bitter taste is more like concentrated syrup.

This candy-making technique would make even the house elves feel ashamed...

They stayed in the teahouse for a while, and Kanna suddenly came up to Kyle and asked in a low voice, "Is there anything else here?"

Like Kyle, her cup of coffee was also full, and she took a sip and didn't touch it again.

The two have similar tastes and neither of them likes things that are too sweet.

Kyle shook his head. He didn't know what kind of drinks were available here, but if even coffee could be made like this, then black tea wouldn't be much better.

After thinking for a moment, Kyle asked, “How about we go to the Three Broomsticks.

Order a glass of butter beer, a plate of pine nut biscuits and two baked meat pies... I left too early today and I haven't had breakfast yet."

When Kanna heard about grilled meat pies, her eyes lit up, "Okay!"

The two looked at each other and stood up at the same time.

"Should we call them?" Connor asked Cedric and Qiu beside her.

"Forget it." Kyle shook his head.

I don't know what the two of them were talking about, and they didn't notice anything wrong around them.

"That's true." Kanna covered her mouth and smiled.

Kyle went to pay, and the two quietly left the teahouse and walked towards the Three Broomsticks.

On the way, Connor looked at the cup of coffee in Kyle's hand and asked in confusion, "Don't you dislike this? Why did you buy another cup?"

"This..." Kyle looked at the cup in his hand and said, "This is not for me to drink. It's a Christmas gift for Professor Dumbledore."

"Professor Dumbledore?" Connor hesitated, "Will he like this taste?"

"Of course." Kyle nodded and said, "If you observe carefully, you will find that Professor Dumbledore always eats more desserts every time he attends a banquet.

And the last time I went to the headmaster's office, he was recommending a frosted pudding to Professor Snape.

That's Honeydukes' new product, just as cloyingly sweet, so I think this coffee would suit his taste."

"Is that so? I've never noticed it before." Kanna blinked.

Then she remembered something and looked back in the direction of the teahouse thoughtfully.

Chapter 392 Fudge

Kyle and Connor braved the snow and wind and made their way to the Three Broomsticks.

Compared to the quiet Mrs. Puddifoot's Tea House, this place is much more crowded and noisy. The freshly made butterbeer is still steaming and looks smoky.

The bar owner was a pretty woman with graceful curves, who was currently serving a group of noisy wizards at the bar.

"I'll get the drinks, you find a seat," Kyle said. "Hopefully we're not too late, there's never enough seating around here."

Connor walked behind the bar and found a small empty table between the window and a Christmas tree, next to the fireplace.

After a while, Kyle came over with a large tray floating behind him.

Two bottles of butterbeer, two plates of meat pies and a plate of freshly baked pine nut cookies filled the table.

Connor cut a piece of pie and put it into her mouth, then took a big sip of butterbeer, and immediately showed a look of satisfaction.

"I still like this after all..." she said vaguely.

"Me too." Kyle ate a pine nut cookie, then raised his glass and said, "Merry Christmas!"

"Merry Christmas!"

The two men clinked their glasses lightly.

Kyle took a big sip and seemed to warm up instantly.

It's still good, but it would be better if I could drink something else.

Just now Kyle wanted to order a cup of the signature drink here, Ogden Golden Honey Wine, but Ms. Rosmerta said that it contained whiskey and could not be sold to the little wizard, so she only gave him Butterbeer.

But this may be because there are more people here now. If it were normal times, Ms. Rosmerta's standards would not be so strict.

At least Fred and George bought mead from here, which also contained whiskey.

After putting down the cup, Kyle looked around and found many familiar faces here.

For example, behind the Christmas tree, there were Harry, Hermione and Ron sitting.

They were completely blocked by the Christmas tree, with Harry sitting in the innermost part. If Hermione hadn't greeted them, Kyle might not have been able to see them.

Apparently Fred and George had given the map to Harry.

Just as I was thinking about it, a cold wind suddenly blew and the door of the Three Broomsticks opened.

Professors McGonagall and Professor Flitwick entered the bar in a gust of snow, followed by Hagrid, and the Minister for Magic, Cornelius Fudge.

There was a clanging noise behind him, and it seemed that Ron and Hermione had pushed Harry under the table.

There were no empty tables in the bar. After recognizing Fudge, some wizards wanted to give up their seats immediately, but Fudge just smiled and waved his hand, saying that he was just an ordinary guest today and asked everyone to do as they pleased.

At this time, not far behind Kyle, two wizards hurriedly finished the wine in their glasses, then stood up naturally, paid the bill and left the bar.

Now there is a vacancy.

"How lucky! I thought I had to drink while standing." Fudge walked over with a smile, greeting different people along the way.

He even recognized Kyle.

"It's great to see you here, little Kyle." He said familiarly, "The youngest recipient of the Merlin Order badge is an amazing achievement. I still remember the scene of that day as if it happened yesterday."

"I remember this clearly as well, Mr. Minister," Kyle said.

"It's a pity that I can't present the award to you in person." Fudge smiled and said, "They invited me, but I think it's a school after all, so it's better to leave it to Dumbledore, the headmaster."

Behind Fudge, Professor McGonagall pursed her lips.

If she remembered correctly, Fudge didn't mean to not present the award, but no one paid any attention to him.

Professor McGonagall always felt that she had seen this kind of excuse from a certain Defense Against the Dark Arts professor...

After the few people sat down, Ms. Rosmerta walked over from the bar and skillfully told each of them what they liked.

Professor McGonagall's violet water... Hagrid's four pints of mead... Professor Flitwick's treacle and soda...

"Then redcurrant rum is yours, Minister."

"Thank you, Rosmerta," said Fudge cheerfully. "It's good to see you again. Would you mind having one of your own? Just join us..."

Ms. Rosmerta happily agreed and went to the bar to get the drinks they needed.

Kyle wanted to listen to what they were talking about, but it was too noisy around them, and the tables were some distance apart, so he couldn't hear clearly.

I could only hear bits and pieces of... Sirius Black... Dementors... vile, filthy traitor... that sort of thing.

This is all thanks to Hagrid.

When he got angry, he couldn't control the volume of his voice, and almost half of the people in the bar could hear what he said.

And the topics they talked about always made Hagrid angry.

Especially after drinking a few glasses of wine, he became angry more often.

"Are they talking about Sirius Black?" Connor asked in a low voice, obviously having heard what Hagrid said.

"It's obvious." Kyle took a sip of butterbeer. "The only person who could get Fudge to come all the way to Hogsmeade before Christmas is Black."

"But why..." Kanna was puzzled, "Aren't there already Dementors here? Why did the Minister come here in person?"

"That's what I don't know." Kyle shook his head. "I think he probably came to see Professor Dumbledore, in order to allow the Dementors to enter the castle to search...

Today is Hogsmeade's visit day, there aren't many people in the castle, as long as we gather and protect the remaining students, the Dementors will be able to swagger into the castle."
