Chapter 322: Slytherin's Iron Triangle

“So, what you mean is…” She stared at Julius’s face, trying to see what was hidden under his calm expression.

Julius stared back into her eyes. "It's simple. I invite you to stay in my tent for the night."

After the words were spoken, all three of them were stunned.

Draco frowned and immediately refused: "Are you so kind? Stop joking, who knows what you are trying to hide?"

"This is not kindness," Julius turned his head to look at him and gently corrected his words, "This is a deal."

Amanta's heart trembled, and the vague intuition in her heart became clear.

Sure enough, Julius would not give help for no reason.

"What deal?" she asked bluntly.

Julius chuckled and said slowly, "Don't worry, I don't mean any harm. You can just treat it as a simple lodging. My parents happened to be taking care of my uncle's family, so there are two empty rooms."

"I just hope that during this time, I can have a good chat with you all...especially Amanta."

The veins on Amanta's forehead were throbbing.

really……

She pursed her lips and tightened her jaw.

Draco glared at him: "Dream on, I'd rather go find Weasley."

Harry also spoke impatiently: "Huh? It sounds like a trap. Are you planning to take this opportunity to sell us out?"

Julius chuckled and shook his head. "Don't always think so bad of me, Potter."

Amanta turned her head to glance at Narcissa who was still unconscious.

She closed her eyes, the rosy pink on her cheeks had faded, and her fair, transparent skin had now turned grey, stained with a lot of ashes and dust from the previous commotion. Combined with her messy light golden hair, she looked indescribably dishevelled.

She would not blame or question Uncle Lucius about where he had been tonight.

Lucius and Draco... this father and son are like two peas in a pod. He must have his own reasons for leaving suddenly tonight. He is shouldering more difficult responsibilities and perhaps facing even more terrible dangers.

All she knew was that Aunt Narcissa had always treated her and Harry like her own children.

Accepting Julius' invitation was not a good option, but they had no choice now.

The tent was destroyed, and they couldn't leave Narcissa lying in the ruins.

No matter how wary she was of him, she had to admit that what he offered was indeed the only place to go.

She was silent for a moment, and finally sighed softly.

"...Okay." She said, "We accept your invitation."

Draco turned his head sharply: "Amanta! You?!"

Harry also frowned: "Huh...?"

"Not for me, but for Lady Narcissa."

Amanta just held their arms on the left and right, trying to calm the two angry guys as much as possible.

"Don't worry...don't forget, we are the Slytherin triangle. No matter what happens, we are still together."

She looked at Julius and said calmly, "Thank you for taking me in. However, we have been through this turmoil and are now tired and sleepy. If there is anything you want to talk about, let's talk about it tomorrow."

Julius bowed slightly and made an elegant gesture: "Of course, you are welcome."

The three of them looked at each other and followed.

They followed Julius and looked around. Not all tents in the camping area were like theirs, with only frames left. Most of them had suffered some damage.

Some wizards stood in front of their tents, trying to use magic to repair or transform it so that it could be restored to a barely acceptable state.

But it was clear that most of the tents had been burned by a spell, so most repair magic seemed to have little effect on them.

They continued walking and soon saw Julius' tent.

In a messy campsite, this tent is intact and stands out among the ruins.

Amanta, Draco and Harry stood in front of the tent, looking at the clean and tidy tent, which even had no trace of burnt marks on the exterior, and their doubts grew even more.

Harry muttered, "Don't you think this is weird? It's like... it's like those Death Eaters knew exactly where they shouldn't go."

Draco folded his arms across his chest and sneered.

"Oh, there's not even a spark on his tent. It's amazing."

Julius's expression remained calm, as if their suspicions were nothing to him.

He simply gracefully lifted the tent flap and gestured "please" to them.

"Come in, or do you want to continue standing in the night?"

Harry and Draco looked at each other and walked in first.

Amanta hesitated for a moment, but finally followed -

Whatever Julius intended, they at least had to have a place to put Narcissa.

The interior of Julius' tent was also cast with a traceless extension spell. The space was spacious and the internal facilities were gorgeous, but it was not as luxurious and extravagant as the Malfoy family. Instead, it had a low-key and simple style, with dark-toned furniture, walnut-colored bookshelves, and warm-colored wall lamps hanging on the walls.

Harry muttered under his breath as he came in.

"What's wrong with pure-blood families? Why do even tents look like mansions?"

Julius smiled faintly and didn't respond, but just pointed to a few doors on the side.

"There aren't that many rooms. I'll sleep in my own room, Draco and Harry will share one, and Amanta and Narcissa will share one. That should be okay, right?"

Amanta nodded, said nothing more, and walked towards her room.

Draco followed closely behind, his eyes still fixed on Julius warily, as if he didn't want to miss even a second of his actions.

Julius shrugged, looking nonchalant. "Don't look at me like that, Malfoy. I'm just offering a safe place. Would you rather spend the night in the ruins with your mother?"

Draco gritted his teeth and ultimately didn't reply.

Amanta and Draco helped Narcissa to the bed in the room. The room was not big, but very clean. The warm light sprinkled on the soft velvet bed, making people relax unconsciously.

Narcissa's face was still pale, her brows were slightly wrinkled, her lips were chapped, and she still looked very weak.

Amanta rummaged through the potions in her sage's ring, took out a bottle of potion with excellent calming effects, gently lifted Narcissa's lips, and dripped a few drops in.

After waiting for a while, Narcissa's breathing gradually calmed down, and her frowned brows gradually relaxed, as if she had finally escaped from a nightmare.

"It seems to be working..." Amanta breathed a sigh of relief, and a stone in her heart finally fell to the ground.

Draco stood aside, staring at his mother without blinking, until he saw that her face looked much better, he relaxed a little and whispered, "...Thank you."

Amanta nodded slightly, indicating that it was nothing.

Harry stood at the door, watching this scene, and breathed a sigh of relief. Then he scratched his head, shrugged and said, "Okay, let's wash up quickly. We've been too tired today."

Draco nodded and walked out with Harry, closing the door.

The room returned to silence, with only the steady breathing of Amanta and Narcissa to be heard.

She looked up at the magic clock on the wall and found that it was already late, but the experience of the night still made her extremely tense and unable to relax immediately.

She sat on the edge of the bed and exhaled.

In the mirror not far away, she saw that she looked a little disheveled, with messy hair, some dust on her face, and her skirt was torn in several places. She looked completely different from the calm and elegant girl in the daytime.

She couldn't help but shake her head, got up and walked towards the bathroom.

The warm water flowed from the shower head, taking away the fatigue of the day. She closed her eyes, feeling the touch of the hot water over her skin, as if the chaos of the whole day was finally relieved a little.

But her mind still didn't stop.

Julius...

She clenched her fists, unable to wrap her mind around what this person was thinking.

On the night of the Death Eaters' attack, his tent was completely unharmed, and even his family "coincidentally" left and were not affected - it all seemed to be carefully planned.

Which side is he on?

Amanta didn't believe that he really just wanted to "help".

But for now, she has no choice.

"Counterattack as the opponent attacks me," she said to herself.

After taking a shower, she took out a nightgown from the Sage's Ring and put it on, preparing to take a short rest.
