"I'm not looking for them." Kyle shook his head and said, "Sirius asked me to bring you something."

"Sirius?" Harry was stunned for a moment. "Did he come to Hogwarts... No, this is too dangerous. I will go find him now!"

As he said this, he was about to run towards the common room door.

"No, he didn't come." Kyle stopped him in time and said, "And even if he did, it wouldn't matter. The Ministry of Magic's retrial has just ended and he has been acquitted."

Harry blinked, then showed an ecstatic look, grabbed Kyle's arm excitedly and asked, "Really? You didn't lie to me?"

"Why would I lie to you?" Kyle said, "The specific process cannot be explained in a few words, so you should just read the newspaper... I printed an emergency copy this afternoon, and many people should have received it by now."

Harry turned quickly to look at the others, wanting to see if anyone was holding the latest edition of the Daily Prophet, and inwardly regretted why he didn't order one too.

"Don't worry, the owl that's sending you the letter is on the way."

Kyle said, "So you should collect the things he bought for you first, so as not to delay dinner."

He took out the deformed lizard skin bag and took out the things inside one by one.

A top-notch wand care kit… gold-rimmed parchment… Siren ink… Apothecary quill… dragon’s blood… dragon’s liver… sapphire horoscope… a vat of candy… a vat of chocolate… a pure gold cauldron…

Every time Kyle took something out, Ron's mouth twitched.

These were the most expensive items in the shops in Diagon Alley. They were ridiculously expensive and were all displayed in prominent positions. He had told Harry before that only rich fools in Slytherin... such as Malfoy, would use such flashy things.

But he never imagined that these things would appear in the Gryffindor common room one day, and they were for Harry...

Especially when the sapphire star map and the pure gold cauldron were taken out, Ron felt that the entire common room became much brighter.

The dazzling golden light also attracted the attention of others, and they gathered around.

Although these things may not be as expensive as the Firebolt that Harry received last school year, they are still very impressive when viewed together.

"That's all." Kyle clapped his hands after putting down the last pure gold crucible.

"These... are all for me?" Harry was a little confused.

"Partly." Kyle thought for a moment and said, "But things like stationery and candy and chocolate... Sirius meant for you to share them with your friends. He bought a lot, and you obviously can't use them all by yourself."

These were indeed Sirius's original words. After all, he bought twenty copies of ink and quill pens. If Harry was alone, it might take him ten years to use them all.

Unless he suddenly likes studying...but this possibility is not high.

Harry hadn't fully reacted yet, but seeing the sparkling eyes of the people around him, he pushed the things forward and said, "Oh, okay...you can take them yourself."

"Praise you, Potter!"

"Potter is our king!"

Everyone thanked Harry exaggeratedly while choosing their favorite quills and candies.

As for things like the star map and the crucible, which only exist in one, no one touched them.

Ron got a red wicked bird feather pen, some gold-edged parchment, and a handful of candy, and he couldn't stop smiling.

But he felt that he would not need these parchments, and it would be a crime to use them to do homework.

Hermione was in a similar situation. She carefully tucked the pieces of parchment into a large book, ready to use them when needed... such as writing a letter of advice to the Ministry of Magic.

There were about a dozen people in the common room at this time. After everyone had divided their treats, there were just a few quills and inks left, and half a bucket of candy.

Harry put them away, preparing to give them later to Ginny and Neville who were not there.

While they were dividing their things, Kyle had already reached the door of the common room.

The things have been delivered. If he doesn't leave now, he will probably be unable to leave later. He should let Sirius answer his questions.

After all, this is a rare interaction.

Kyle pushed open the door and saw a man standing at the door looking pitiful.

"Neville..." Kyle asked, "Did you forget the password again?"

"No, I know the password, nonsense..." He stretched out his arm, revealing a line of words written on the palm of his hand.

"Then why don't you come in."

"The Fat Lady...she's not here." Neville felt aggrieved and sad.

I forgot the password before and couldn’t get in, and now I know the password but still can’t get in... Who can I complain to?

"Uh..." Kyle looked at the empty picture frame and muttered quietly, "How long have they been beating Phineas? It's been so long and he hasn't come back yet..."

"What did you say? I didn't hear you clearly." Neville raised his head and said.

"Oh, nothing, I just said that the Fat Lady might be going to the painting place." Kyle said to Neville after he walked out, "Go in quickly, the door will be closed again in a while."

"Thank you, thank you..." Neville ran in quickly.

After the door closed, he patted his chest with some relief, "Thanks to Kyle, otherwise he doesn't know how long he would have to stay outside... Hmm? Kyle?"

Neville suddenly thought of something and quickly raised his head to look around.

The golden-red sofa and curtains were the common room in his memory; he was not wrong.

But isn't Kyle a Hufflepuff? Why did he come out of the Gryffindor common room...

"Neville..."

Just when Neville was feeling confused, he suddenly heard someone calling his name.

Harry ran over and asked, "Did you see Kyle just now?"

"Yes, he was the one who opened the door for me," said Neville.

"When?"

"Just now, a minute ago."

"Oh... has he gone back? I still have a lot of questions I want to ask him." Harry sighed in annoyance.

"What happened?" Neville was a little curious, "Why is Kyle here?"

"He came to give me some things." Harry said, "By the way, you came at the right time. These are for you."

He casually handed a quill and ink to the bewildered Neville, and took the bucket of candy.

"You're welcome. Take as much as you can. These are all gifts from my godfather."

Chapter 490 Who is the Godson?

Neville had always thought that Harry only had his aunt and uncle, and he had said before that these two people were very mean to him and even refused to sign his application form to go to Hogsmeade.

Now suddenly hearing that Harry has a godfather, this news brought much more shock than Kyle's appearance in the Gryffindor common room.

"You have a godfather?" Neville asked in surprise, "Why haven't I heard you mention it before?"

"I just found out about that too." Harry laughed, putting the candy into Neville's pocket.

There was no way before, because of Sirius' identity, he could only keep this matter in his heart and didn't tell anyone.

But now it's different. Sirius was declared not guilty in the retrial, and he can finally tell everyone the good news openly.

But Harry did not get carried away. After all, he had only heard about it and had not seen the newspaper or the letter, so he deliberately did not mention Sirius's name.

Looking at the excited Harry, Hermione was also very happy for him. She also knew how hard it had been for Harry to wait for this day.

But...she lowered her head, as if thinking about something.

Soon, Harry came back. He put the half-empty candy bucket on the table and stared out the window blankly. Every time an owl flew over, he couldn't help but stand up, and when they flew away, he would show a disappointed expression.

"Don't you find it strange?" Hermione asked suddenly.

"What's weird?" Harry replied absentmindedly, still staring out the window.

"Kyle, of course," said Hermione.

Ron fiddled with his new quill and asked, "What's wrong with him?"

"Didn't you guys notice?" Hermione looked at them with disdain, "How did Kyle know that Sirius was acquitted?"

"Of course it's the newspaper." Ron said as a matter of course, "Didn't he say that because of this incident, the Daily Prophet urgently printed an extra copy of the newspaper."

"What about these things!"

Hermione pointed to the golden cauldron on the table. "Sirius obviously bought it in Diagon Alley. Have you ever thought that if he wanted to give it to Harry, why didn't he send an owl directly to it, instead of asking Kyle for help..."

Ron looked up, and Harry stopped looking out the window.

Yes, they realized then, if it was for Harry, why should Kyle deliver it.

Could it be that Sirius wrote the wrong address? But they were all at Hogwarts.

"Don't you understand yet?" Hermione looked at the two people with puzzled faces and closed her homework unhappily. "It's very simple. I dare say Kyle was with Sirius at the time. He was also in Diagon Alley!"

"What?" Ron said in disbelief. "But that's impossible... I mean, there's no Hogwarts Express on weekends, how did he get back?"

"Maybe there is some other way." Hermione said, "Also, I don't know if you still remember that during lunch today, Professor Dumbledore went to the Great Hall to call Kyle away, and he hasn't come back until now."

"You mean..." Harry frowned, "At that time he already knew about Sirius's retrial and went to find him outside the school?"

"I suppose, yes..."

The three of them fell silent immediately. They didn't understand why Dumbledore told Kyle this.

Harry felt a little upset. He was Sirius' godson, but he was the last one to know...

"Ouch."

Harry was lost in thought when he suddenly felt a sharp pain on his hand. He looked down and found that an owl the size of a Bludger was pecking at his hand, with a letter next to it.

"Oh, a letter from Sirius!" he said excitedly, and quickly opened the envelope.

Hermione and Ron also came over.

On the other hand, the news of Sirius Black's acquittal quickly spread in Hogwarts through the Daily Prophet. Those students who subscribed to the newspaper told others about it as soon as possible. Now everyone was discussing it, and even the Triwizard Tournament was put on hold.

Is there any experience more legendary than spending twelve years in Azkaban, just waiting for a chance for revenge?

Hogwarts is full of teenage students, who are at their most passionate age, and this is what they love to watch the most.

By the time of dinner, almost all the students in the hall were discussing this matter. Fred and George no longer cared about the box. They gathered around Harry, curiously trying to find out the news.

Harry was so excited after receiving the letter that he let the cat out of the bag. Now almost everyone in Gryffindor knows that Sirius is his godfather.
