"The Ministry of Magic," Kyle said calmly. "I should be heading back home after this."
Ariana's body trembled violently, and her original excitement disappeared in an instant.
The pleasant trip that day made her almost forget yesterday's experience. It was not until Kyle mentioned it again that she realized that she could not go home again, otherwise her brother Albus would be in danger.
Kyle noticed Ariana's frustration, but he didn't know what to say.
This matter was supposed to be done yesterday, and it was too late to put it off until today. He had to rush back to check on Dumbledore's condition.
"You'll be fine, Ariana." Kyle said softly, "One day, you'll see your two brothers again. Although they may look different by then, the feelings between you will not change with the passage of time. I promise."
Ariana nodded wordlessly.
"Well, come with me." Kyle took Ariana into a record store on the streets of London and skillfully pointed his wand at a pillar under the owner's puzzled gaze.
The shelves in the store automatically opened up, revealing an aisle at the back.
"Is he an employee of the Ministry of Magic?" the boss wondered doubtfully.
He had never seen the man before, and logically speaking, he was definitely not a member of the Ministry of Magic, but he seemed to be very familiar with the staff passage of the Ministry of Magic.
Maybe he's a new employee.
The boss didn't think much about it. After all, it was just a passage into the Ministry of Magic. Compared with the mailbox road three streets away, its only advantage was that it was more convenient.
Besides, confirming the identity of the visitor was not his concern.
So, Kyle entered the Ministry of Magic openly. It was much easier than he thought. He had originally thought about using the Confusion Charm to get away with it, but now there was no need for that.
"Close your eyes, look at nothing, listen to nothing," he said.
Out of trust, Ariana did the same.
There's no way. The Ministry of Magic is different from other places. Magic is everywhere here. It's better to be cautious.
The Ministry of Magic at this time was no different from that a hundred years later. There was still a majestic golden statue in the middle of the main hall.
Kyle went straight to the elevator. Not sure if it was because they were walking through the staff passage or because their positions were not perfect, they did not encounter any staff to check the visitor's identity and entered the elevator easily.
Three owls flew out, each holding a piece of paper in its talons, and then Kyle walked in.
While the elevator was running, Ariana remained very quiet. If Kyle hadn't been able to sense her presence, he would have thought she had run away.
"Department of Mysteries."
I don't know how long it was before a cold female voice broke the silence.
"We're here...oh, you can open your eyes now," Kyle said.
"Where is this?" This was the first time Ariana spoke since entering the Ministry of Magic.
It was too dark here, and there were no windows on either side of the corridor, which made Ariana a little scared.
"It's a very mysterious department." Kyle said, "If there is a place that can accept you, maybe this is the only place."
Besides this, Kyle didn't say one more thing, which was that he wanted to confirm a guess in his mind. If he was wrong, it wouldn't be too late to look for another place.
He led Ariana to the end of the corridor, in front of a black door.
"Please stop."
A man appeared out of nowhere behind them. He was wearing a hood and his face could not be seen, but Kyle recognized the golden pattern on the robe. It was the symbol of the Unspoken Man.
"Who are you? This is not the office of the Ministry of Magic. Please go back."
"No, I'm looking for the Department of Mysteries," said Kyle.
With a slight movement of his hand, he lifted the invisibility cloak on Ariana.
In an instant, the Silent Man suddenly raised his head, revealing a very ordinary face, so ordinary that no one would notice him if he were seen on the street.
"The Silent One!" He recognized Ariana's identity at a glance.
...Maybe it's not that difficult. Perhaps out of fear of an unfamiliar environment, the Obscurus in Ariana's body has been very active. Especially after she lifted the invisibility cloak, Kyle only felt a tingling pain in his left arm.
"That's right." Kyle said, glancing at the silent man from years ago. "Excuse me, but I don't think you're too surprised."
Even in the wizarding world, Obscurials are extremely rare, let alone those who have lived past the age of ten, of which there are only a handful that can be counted on one hand in the past few centuries.
"No, I'm surprised." The Silent Man shook his head. He lifted up his hood and said, "But what's interesting is that just a month ago, a crystal ball suddenly appeared in the Hall of Prophecy, and the content happened to be related to the Silent One."
"Oh? What's the content?" Kyle asked curiously.
"No comment," said the Unspeakable. He looked at Kyle. "You seem to be familiar with the Department of Mysteries."
“No comment,” Kyle said.
The Silent Man was choked, but just as he was about to say something, the door behind him opened.
A dozen silent people dressed in the same manner walked out, led by a blonde witch.
"Well, Merck, you should welcome our new colleague."
"New colleague... this guy with a bad temper?"
"No, it's her." The witch walked to Ariana, squatted slowly, and looked at her softly with a pair of blue eyes.
"Thank you for your hard work, kid."
Maybe it was because the other person had the same blue eyes as her brother, but Ariana's silence soon subsided.
"Excuse me." Kyle said, "You knew I would bring Ariana here?"
"The prophecy told me that we will have a new colleague today, so I came to pick you up."
"There are prophets in the Department of Mysteries?"
"No, not really." The witch shook her head. "It's just that the Silent Ones were chosen by prophecy, and their names will appear in a special crystal ball in the Hall of Prophecy. I just happened to see it...
"Although there are two of you here, you obviously won't be called Ariana."
"Okay." Kyle shrugged. "Looks like I don't need to explain. So, can you take good care of her?"
"We will help her control her Obscurus as best we can," the witch said calmly.
"That's good," Kyle said.
He hesitated for a moment, ready to say goodbye to Ariana, but when he looked up, he found that there was only a black door in front of him. Everyone had disappeared, including Ariana, and it seemed that they had been taken away by other Silent People.
But Kyle felt inexplicably relieved.
The Silent Man does things very cleanly and efficiently, which is good. At least he doesn't have to worry about what to say.

Chapter 847: Rumors spread, the gap between brothers
Coming out of the Ministry of Magic, Kyle looked up at the bright and dazzling sunlight.
I don’t know if I can see the scene in front of me in the Department of Mysteries. After all, this is what Ariana has always longed for.
It should be possible...
Although the Department of Mysteries is in the basement of the Ministry of Magic, with the Unspeakable's ability, it is not difficult to use magic to create a window connecting to the outside.
And this is already the best arrangement.
He couldn't possibly try to bring a person who existed in the past back to the future. It was unrealistic, especially since he had been drinking 'raspberry drinks' for a month before using the time-turner.
And the most important thing is... Kyle stretched out his hand and stared at his wand in a daze.
Since last night, he had been feeling a vague sense of rejection, the most direct manifestation of which was that he was not casting spells as smoothly as before.
Although it is not very obvious, it is real.
The reason is very simple. He does not belong here. Although he came back using the time converter, he is out of tune with everything around him.
Nico's 'raspberry drink' can help him solve this problem temporarily, but the effect is weakening as time goes by.
If this is the case for him, then Ariana, who was brought to a hundred years later, should be no exception.
Therefore, taking her to the Department of Mysteries is the best option.
At least Ariana wouldn't be bored there anymore. The Silent Man was very busy at work, as could be seen from the fact that his mother rarely came home.
Once people are busy, they have no time to be sad. Perhaps this job can help Ariana adapt to life without her brother as soon as possible.
In addition, the salary of the Silent Man is not low, even higher than that of the professors at Hogwarts and only slightly lower than that of the dean. It is definitely a high-paying, stable job.
Sometimes even Kyle was tempted, but unfortunately, they only recruited people based on predictions, not results.
Kyle shook his head and didn't think about it anymore.
After leaving the Ministry of Magic, he came to a deserted place and Apparated back to Godric's Hollow.
The most urgent task now is to determine Dumbledore's situation.
Kyle returned to the road he had taken Ariana and walked into the quiet valley again.
Although it was almost noon, the valley was unusually dull, and almost everyone gathered near a church in the south.
There was a funeral going on there...Arianna's funeral.
Kyle stood alone at the outside of the crowd, and through the crowd he could clearly see Aberforth lying on the newly carved tombstone and crying loudly.
Young Dumbledore was also in tears, with endless regret in his eyes.
"What right do you have to cry!"
Aberforth suddenly exploded, turned around and threw a punch, hitting Dumbledore hard in the face.
Blood flowed out of his mouth and nose, and Dumbledore's nose was broken on the spot, but he had no intention of wiping it off. He just stared at the tombstone blankly and let the blood cover his face.
"Hypocritical bastard!" Aberforth wanted to fight back, but was stopped by the crowd who had come to their senses.
"That's enough, Aberforth. That's enough." A middle-aged wizard hugged him. "Albus is in as much pain as you are. He's already suffering enough."
"Let me go, what do you know!" Aberforth struggled hard, "This cold-blooded bastard will only feel happy about getting rid of a burden, how could he be sad... Let me go, I'm going to kill him!"
But no one around him would believe what he said. They just thought that Aberforth was too sad and wanted to find someone to vent.
So they held Aberforth tightly to prevent him from attacking Dumbledore again, and the scene became chaotic for a while.
However, Kyle noticed that only a small number of people stepped forward to persuade them to stop fighting, while most people chose to stand there quietly.
