Chapter 10: 12 Things in the Dormitory
Della got her own little dormitory room.
In theory, the four-person dormitory is just right for four girls, but considering Maggie, the school still assigned Della to the "Snake Tail" - the single room at the end of the girls' dormitory in the Snake Academy. Because almost half of the walls are made of glass, few people are willing to live in it even if thick curtains are installed. After all, there are indeed many strange creatures under the Black Lake.
However, Della herself was very satisfied with this plan. Firstly, she was not afraid, and secondly, the other three girls were indeed not very friendly, so she walked happily towards her dormitory amid everyone's gloating eyes.
The snake's tail was a little bigger than she had imagined, about the same size as her room in the orphanage. The lights inside were not on, and some light leaked in from the gaps in the curtains. Although she knew the fluorescent spell, Della still followed the faint light and slowly approached the curtains.
When she held the curtain that felt nice to the touch, Della paused for a moment, first pulled out the wand from the wand bag inside her clothes and cast a "cleanse fresh" spell, and then she couldn't wait to open the curtain.
A strange world under the lake immediately appeared before her eyes. Perhaps because of the glass, the scene in front of her eyes was a faint green. Some creatures that Della had never seen before, which looked like fish but not fish, were swimming in the lake. This reminded Della of the aquarium she had read about in books. She had never had the chance to go there, but she had read a lot about it in books.
"Hai-hi (how do you feel)?"
Maggie rubbed her cheek, and Della smiled and rubbed back.
"Haisa (very happy)!"
Yes, one can also communicate with Maggie in serpent language in the dormitory. Although Maggie is smart enough to understand human language, Della still prefers to use serpent language, which makes her feel close to Maggie.
With the moonlight leaking in from the Black Lake, Della began to tidy up her little room. The bed was already covered with bedding, the main colors were silver and green, and it was printed with the Slytherin seal.
There was a desk in the room, which looked like it had accumulated a lot of dust, and a matching chair was neatly embedded inside it.
It's a pity that there are only two layers of bookshelves on the desk. If possible, the bookshelf should be made bigger. The carpet on the floor is also small. If it is bigger, you can walk barefoot to the small bathroom in the room.
Oh yes, there is also a wardrobe. A small clothes hanger is not enough for a growing girl. She also needs a place to put snacks. It seems that the wall is a bit empty...
While Della took out the luggage from her handbag and put them away one by one, she was thinking about how to make this little place more perfect. This time she truly had her own little room!
Della was happy here, but Draco was gloomy over there.
There was one extra boy, and although all of them except Nott were his younger brothers, Draco was not used to sharing a room with others.
Four people squeezed into one dormitory? What a joke, the Malfoy children don't need to rely on dormitories to build good relationships with others.
So, Draco also had his own dormitory, but the only Slytherin room was the Snake's Tail, so he ended up staying in a double room by himself. Without his little brothers around, he had to clean up his room by himself, which was a bit difficult for the young master.
However, as a pure-blood with noble ancestry and elite education (so he thought), Draco decided to do it himself. After all, he didn't have much luggage.
First put the books on the bookshelf and hung the three sets of wizard robes on the hangers. Oh, my mother packed too many clothes for me, so Draco could only pile the ones that couldn't be put on the other bed.
Mom also prepared a lot of emergency potions, so I'll put them on another desk. The same goes for parchment paper. Mom really prepared a lot of it, so I put it in the cabinet under the desk.
Hiss, there are also snacks. These are made by mom. After you eat some, share them with Crabbe and the others. Mom will definitely ask an owl to deliver new ones tomorrow anyway.
Gloves, small pots, glass bottles, telescopes, balances, well, put all of these on your desk to remind yourself to bring them to class.
After collecting all the opened paper bags and throwing them into the trash can, Draco sat down on the chair panting. If he hadn't been sweating, he would have probably lay down directly.
He had hung a flag that symbolized the Malfoy family on the table in front of him. The evil dragon entangled on it reminded Draco of Della and her Maggie.
It's unbelievable, a Mudblood can get into Slytherin! ?
But her Maggie is really smart and beautiful. How could a mere mudblood have such a good snake!
Humph, I will tell my dad, and he will definitely find me a prettier and smarter one!
Tomorrow, I can go find that Harry Potter, the savior. Hum, what a glorious moment. But I believe he will not reject a Malfoy.
Draco raised the corners of his lips at the thought, revealing a wicked and arrogant smile. To be honest, this didn't seem like an expression an eleven-year-old boy should have. He stood up, stretched a few times, then went to wash up in his pajamas.
I have a lot of classes tomorrow, so I have to have a good rest today.
At the same time, Della in the snake's tail put down the "Basic Transformation Guide" in her hand, and with the same idea in mind, she also walked into the bathroom with her clothes to wash up and rest.
The next day, Della was woken up early by Maggie. She sat up, rubbed her half-open eyes in confusion, yawned, got up from the bed and washed up.
Today I have Transfiguration and Defense Against the Dark Arts classes. I have already roughly read these two books during the few days I stayed in the hotel with Quasi, and I have also tried a lot of spells on my own. I read the Transfiguration guide last night, and now I will look at the spell book.
Oh yes, Quasi said he is also at Hogwarts, I have to find a chance to go see him.
Della, who was not fully awake yet, was thinking in a distracted manner.
While Della was reading with the light on, Maggie had already started packing her schoolbag. His slender tail was surprisingly powerful, and he put the thick books into the bag with ease. Then he looked at the clock and rubbed against Della, who was concentrating on her work, to remind her that it was time to go.
Della touched him, and Maggie cooperated by climbing onto her shoulders. After Della put the book in her hand into the prepared bag, she put on her robe and carefully put her wand into the wand bag. She combed her hair, took the simple map given by senior Aryan, and walked towards the common room.
There were already quite a few people studying at the large desks in the Slytherin common room. Only a few of them looked up at Della curiously when she came out, and then their eyes were glued to Maggie.
Della smiled back at everyone but had no intention of talking. She held the map and planned to go straight to the restaurant, but it was obvious that someone didn't want to let her go.
"Why, our Mudblood lady is up so early, she is really hardworking."
A familiar voice came from behind. Della's smile remained on her face, but the muscles on her forehead moved and she turned her head away speechlessly.
It was indeed the light golden guy. He still looked so domineering. The two fat brothers behind him were obviously not awake yet and were supporting each other and rubbing their eyes.
This scene is inexplicably funny.
Della couldn't help but cover her mouth and laugh. Draco's face immediately turned red. He didn't understand why this girl didn't react at all and was so disrespectful to him.
Feeling shame and anger rushed to his head, Draco ignored the snake coiled on Della's shoulder and strode up to her, his face full of twisted anger that could not be concealed.
"Be careful!"
Under Maggie's death gaze, Draco's momentum grew weaker and weaker, and in the end he could only utter these words.
"Crabbe, Goyle, come on!"
Turning around and shouting at the two people, Draco walked past Della and walked out of the lounge in a menacing manner.
Hmm... a little confusing.
Della shrugged helplessly and walked out of the lounge.
Who cares about that young master, the guy who only knows how to talk big.
They were all walking the same way. After seeing the three slow figures, Della took a few quick steps. She imitated Draco's expression and gave him a provocative smile, then ran away quickly, with only a roar coming from behind her.
"You mudblood!"
What a pity, young master. I am not someone who can be bullied easily.
But his behavior is really strange. Could it be that there are such things as nobility in the wizarding world?
