Chapter 298 She disobeys you!
Kefalos, also known as Mr. Jin, said in a deep voice: "Our people have searched the entire planet, and there is no second person who meets your requirements. Are you sure there is something wrong with your prophecy?"
The voice in the darkness was silent for a long time before it said, "Klofas, before you, no great lord has ever questioned my prophecy."
"That person, maybe in another time and space, is her in another time and space..."
"I don't want to hear maybes." Kloface said sternly, "You'd better understand your position. The premise for me to respect you as a prophet is that your predictions can be used by me. This is where your value lies. I let you here, not for you to use those vague and specious words to manipulate me."
"No matter where that person is, find her, or else, you'll go back to the Land of Evil Spirits.
"I will obey the order of the great lord~" After a while, the voice said lightly, "If Michael knew that his successor was so decisive, he would be able to rest in peace."
A cold light flashed in Kloface's eyes, but fortunately the voice did not continue.
"Even if you can't find another person, the end will come."
After saying this, Klophas turned around and left without looking back.
Lilith hurriedly pulled little Asaiah to follow.
As she trotted out, little Asaiah turned her head back. She seemed to vaguely see that the crystal clear blue statue's tightly closed eyes slowly opened a slit.
In the quiet castle, Kloface sat at one end of the long black walnut dining table, taking the warm towel handed to him by the servant and wiping his slender fingers.
Lilith was picked up and placed on a specially made dining chair, while little Asaiah, guided by a servant with a furry tail, sat opposite Lilith, on an empty chair across from Klophas.
An older man who looked like a butler leaned over to Kloface and asked, "I haven't seen Master Lucifer yet. Are we going to eat now?"
Kloface nodded slightly, the butler clapped his hands twice, and the servants holding exquisite trays filed in from the direction of the kitchen.
Little Asaiah saw them pour half a glass of bright red wine for Klophas, and then placed two transparent straw cups filled with the same color liquid in front of himself and Lilith respectively.
Lilith grasped the two glass ears of the straw cup with both hands and sipped the liquid obediently.
Little Asaiah followed her example and picked up the cup. Just as he was about to put the straw in his mouth, he smelled a faint fishy smell.
"What is this?" she paused and asked.
Kloface raised his eyelashes and said coldly, "It's good stuff. Eat whatever you are given. Don't ask so many questions."
Little Asaiah didn't ask any more questions, but she didn't drink either.
Lilith let go of the straw and said in a baby voice, "Sister, it's sweet and delicious."
"You picked such nice shoes for me, but look how they rubbed my feet!" An unhappy scolding voice came from outside the restaurant. It was Lucifer's voice.
A boy in his early teens actually walked back from the vast Gobi Desert by himself.
"Master, I was wrong, please forgive me!"
"Forgive? Then what about the sins I've suffered?" Lucifer's voice still carried the childishness of a teenager, but his words were extremely cruel. "I'll let you go home and see your family for the last time. After I give the gift to my new sister, I'll think about how to punish you."
The two carved doors of the restaurant were pushed open, and Lucifer walked in barefoot.
His heels were covered in blood, and every step he took left a bright red half footprint on the shiny floor.
Lucifer, however, walked on with big strides as if he felt no pain at all.
As soon as he entered the room, his eyes fell on little Asaiah who was sitting obediently in a high-back chair.
The high-backed chair was too high for little Asaiah, and because her legs couldn't rest on the ground, the servants placed a footstool with golden tassels under her feet.
Lucifer walked quickly to little Asaiah's side, looked at the cup of red liquid in her hand, and shouted excitedly: "Ha, did you drink it? Did you drink it?"
Little Asaiah raised her head and Lucifer pinched her cheeks with his dirty hands, trying to make her open her mouth so that he could see if there were any red marks inside her mouth.
Little Asaiah turned his head and dodged.
Lucifer had one hand behind his back, leaving only one hand free, so he couldn't really clamp little Asaiah.
It was rare for him not to be angry, and a meaningful smile appeared on his pale face.
"If you take a sip, I'll give you a gift."
Although he didn't know what Lucifer was talking about, little Asaiah already had a vague idea of his temper.
She gently placed the cup back on the table and said, "I'm not thirsty."
Seeing that she was not fooled, Lucifer rolled his eyes and smiled, "If you are not thirsty, you must be hungry. We demons never go home empty-handed. Look what good things I brought you~"
He pulled his left hand out from behind his back and threw a bloody meat patty onto the plate in front of little Asaiah. The silver knives and forks neatly placed next to the plate were knocked away, making a series of ping-pong sounds.
Lucifer's deep blue eyes flashed with a mischievous light, but to his disappointment, little Asaiah was not frightened by the disgusting meat pie that was a mixture of viscera and flesh.
She took the meat pie with lizard skin attached from the plate without changing her expression and handed it to the servant who was waiting anxiously by the side.
"I don't want it." She refused bluntly in her childish voice.
Lucifer narrowed his eyes and tried to find fault, but Kloface rapped the table with his knuckles.
"Lucifer, it seems that you haven't learned your lesson enough. You are not allowed to eat tonight. You can eat when you reflect on yourself."
Lucifer turned his back to him, closed his eyes and rolled his eyes. When he opened them again, he sat down on the chair next to little Asaiah and said, "I don't want to eat. Can I sit here and watch her eat?"
"I've never seen a beast drink the blood of its own kind. Today is a chance to open my eyes."
Little Asaiah now confirmed that the substance in the cup was indeed blood, and it should be human blood.
"Asiah is one of our kind." Klophas put the emphasis on the word "us".
He turned his pure black eyes to little Asaiah and said in a deep voice, "Asaiah, drink it."
Little Asaiah shook his head.
Klophas emphasized, "Asiah, drink it."
Little Asaiah said quietly but firmly, "I don't drink."
Lucifer's spindle-shaped pupils trembled with excitement, and he shouted at Klophas: "Dad, she disobeyed you!"
Klophas let go of the silver knife and fork in his hand, and they made a crisp sound when they hit the plate, and all the servants were immediately silent.
Klofas said coldly, "Take her to the bedroom and don't give her any food. When she figures out her true identity, then let her out."
